On July 5, the sheikhs sent Economy Minister Nir Barkat a letter expressing Hebron's wish to break away from the widely unpopular Palestinian Authority, establish an "Emirate of Hebron," and formally recognize Israel as a Jewish state under the Abraham Accords. Rather than clinging to the dream of Palestinian statehood with all its pie-in-the-sky demands—like a right of return and an East Jerusalem capital—these Hebron leaders embrace normalization, integration, and cooperation.
In Canada and around the world, the lies promoted at Palestinian protests continue to go unchecked. Our weak leaders would rather turn a blind eye than call out and confront this evil for what it is. As a result, this hateful movement continues to grow in its popularity. What does the God of this universe have to say about all of this? Will there ever be an end to the lies told against Israel and the Jewish people?
Netanyahu may be immune to the enchantment of such diplomacy, but U.S. officials often are not. The seductive call of “peace in our time” has repeatedly led American administrations — Republican and Democratic alike — onto the shoals of diplomatic delusion. History should remind us: the Gaza disengagement, endorsed by the George W. Bush administration, did not bring stability. Instead, it birthed a terrorist regime.
While the ayatollahs are pulling back from external scrutiny, they are implementing their own internal inquiries in a very harsh purge. The number of executions of Iranian civilians just before and immediately following the ceasefire agreement exceeded that of civilians killed during the entire 12-day war. During the days following, more than 700 suspected spies were arrested in a paranoid crackdown on potential espionage.
These protestors have been fuelled by a steady stream of bias reporting and misinformation by segments of the Western media, which is often too quick to act as the propaganda arm of the Islamic regime that currently rules Gaza by parroting their casualty figures and reports without question.
Will we stand on God’s Word, or conform to this world? It has become politically expedient for many on that side (though far from all) to call Israel an “apartheid state,” or even equate them to the Nazis who once murdered more than a third of all Jews worldwide. Then, in just the last few months, a large group of conservatives have joined the most extreme liberals regarding Israel. Conservative voices you perhaps once thought you could trust are today saying things like, “Drop Israel.”
We are deeply saddened by the rapidly darkening antisemitic climate, but we should not be surprised. Scripture is clear: A day is coming when antisemitism will rise so quickly and so strongly that it will blind all nations—including America.
Without sounding pessimistic, this ceasefire simply cannot lead to true and lasting peace. God’s prophetic Word clearly indicates that Persia (Iran) will join with other nations (including Russia and Turkey) to attack Israel when it is feeling relatively secure. That battle of Gog and Magog is described in Ezekiel 38. This ceasefire is only a temporary pause between the battles.
Let the Word of God be your standard of reality—not the Conservative Manosphere. The Apostle Paul calls what you are doing boasting against the natural branches, and he warns us not to do it (Rom. 11:11–27). By denying that Israel — even in her fallen state — has any claim to the land of promise, you are rejecting God’s self-revelation as immutable, faithful, merciful, gracious, and long-suffering.
Originally, Iran was prepared to launch 1000 missiles in the first hour of war, but the accurate strikes on the launchers cut that number down significantly. We mourn for every Israeli killed or wounded, but the fact that through all the missile barrages only 28 Israeli civilians were lost shows God’s hand. His wisdom and protection could be seen in the planning and execution of this military rout, and His ability to move the heart of world leaders was evident in the US partnership to carry out what Israel was unequipped to accomplish.
In Canada, Nohad was confronted by an anti-Israel protester calling him a Nazi and accusing him of supporting genocide and apartheid. Nohad calmly asked, “What do you know about Arab Israelis?” When the protester responded, “You’re depressing and genociding them!” Nohad simply replied, “I am an Israeli Arab,” rendering the protester speechless. Nohad’s personal story challenges the narratives that paint Israel as anything other than a democratic country that values equal rights for all.
The truth is that Israel should have finished them off, but if you know Ezekiel 38 and 39, none of this should surprise you as a student of God's Word. We know that Iran must live to see another day. What we are witnessing today is far more than just another major conflict with Israel and her enemies. This is part of something much greater that is coming. It is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
God’s Word, and in particular Bible prophecy, explains the devil’s rage against Israel as manifested through the Iranian leaders. Yet so many believers dismiss prophecy as stale theology, tertiary (of third-rate importance), or irrelevant. If one follows today’s popular doctrinal teachings regarding Israel, he or she will not only miss the why of what’s happening in the Middle East, but also the calming reassurance that comes from recognizing that God remains in control of all things.
While Israel has been tremendously effective in crippling Iran's proxies, Tehran's ambitions to obtain a nuclear weapon represented an even greater threat with the potential to annihilate the world's one and only Jewish State. "Iran has said that the Jewish people should be erased from the face of the earth," Graham explained. "If they get an atomic weapon, that's exactly what they will do."
In 1939, an organisation referred to as the Freeland League for Jewish Territorial Colonisation identified seven million acres in the Kimberley region in Western Australia as a potential re-settlement point for 75,000 European Jews fleeing rampant antisemitism. The scheme reportedly had widespread support from government committees, businesspeople, trade unions, and the church. The scheme’s visionary, Dr Isaac Steinberg, even wrote that he could envision Jews "writing Jewish poetry about kangaroos and laughing kookaburras."
The Islamist regime swore they were not building a bomb, but time after time they were proven to be liars. With its house of cards now falling apart, Israel realized it was time to strike. They asked the United States about it, and President Donald Trump said, “Hold off. Maybe I can get a deal.” Trump told Ayatollah Khamenei that Iran had 60 days to agree to a deal that would end the Iran nuclear program. Iran blustered and threatened and delayed. On day 61, Israel attacked.
Should America be involved? There is a growing voice among conservatives in America, saying "America first" means "stay out of it." They are wrong. A nuclear Iran is a direct threat to America. The Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader openly stated: "If we wanted to build a nuclear weapon, America would not be able to stop us." To which the crowd chanted, "Death to America!"
Let me be unequivocal: for those who say we cannot afford to support Israel, I say we cannot afford not to. If we abandon our support for Israel, we will soon discover that the account of God’s blessing on America is overdrawn. We have long benefited from the undeserved favor of the Lord. To walk away from Israel is to walk away from the source of that favor. This is more than geopolitics — it’s about biblical truth.
In just 72 hours, Israel has crippled Iran's capability to create a nuclear holocaust in Israel or the United States. At the same time, we're hearing naive voices from the progressive left and confused voices from the woke right, who say they follow Jesus but condemn Israel's right to defend itself.
In 1981, Israel struck and destroyed an almost finished nuclear reactor in Sadam Hussein’s Iraq. The backlash was severe. The New York Times called it “inexcusable” and “short-sighted.” The Times turned out to be wrong on both counts. New Delhi Television wrote in 2023, “Many nations condemned Israel for the airstrike on the nuclear reactor. But after the first Gulf War in 1990-91, leaders retroactively supported the incredible operation as the Israeli attack prevented Iraq from eventually acquiring nuclear weapons.”
Not only will the Jews be regathered together in their homeland, but they will be increasingly isolated. That’s happening. The Bible also predicted the rise of anti-Semitism in the end times. That is happening. The Bible also predicts a large nation to the north of Israel, identified in Ezekiel as Magog, will attack her. That has not yet happened. Many scholars believe that Magog is a reference to modern-day Russia. This we can say with certainty: We see both Israel and Iran in Bible prophecy
Iran launched several volleys of ballistic missiles toward Israel on Friday and Saturday, with sirens repeatedly sounding across Jerusalem and central/northern Israel, sending millions into bomb shelters. The United States worked to protect Israel from incoming ballistic missiles by assisting the Jewish State in its efforts to intercept the projectiles.
Detailing the far-reaching extent of the operation currently unfolding in Iran, the Prime Minister stated, "We struck at the heart of Iran's nuclear enrichment program. We struck at the heart of Iran's nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran's main enrichment facility in Natanz. We targeted Iran's leading nuclear scientists working on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart of Iran's ballistic missile program."
Washington evacuated its embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. It also cleared out non-essential personnel from Bahrain and Kuwait and put all American tankers in the Persian Gulf on alert. U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said on Wednesday that Iran is determined to go ahead with their nuclear program, seeming to indicate that America had become ready to green light Israel.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an American group working to bypass Hamas by distributing aid directly to Gazans, released an "urgent" statement detailing a significant Hamas attack on Wednesday evening, leaving multiple aid workers dead and a possible hostage situation.
North American universities and colleges drive this smear campaign. Campuses have undergone a gradual yet profound transformation from bastions of higher education into hotbeds of incitement against Israel. This makeover owes its success in part to a plan by the Muslim Brotherhood to “institute the Islamic Revolution in the United States,” as revealed by an FBI source inside the Brotherhood in 1988.
"The Jewish people have been a target of antisemitism, which is just a fancy word for Jew-hatred, for thousands of years, and nothing is changing. In America, unfortunately, since October 7th, antisemitism has grown when you would think it would be the opposite. I think right now, we're seeing a turning point. If you're a pro-Israel Christian, if you are a believer in the Bible and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, you are also becoming a target."
These days, Jesus described, would also be like "the days of Noah." In Genesis 6:5, 11, we read that in the time before the flood: "God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually... The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence." Is the earth once again being "filled with violence," just as Jesus forewarned? A brief look at the recent events leads to a sad and unmistakable answer.
We are still processing the very recent Washington DC murder of two Israeli diplomats. They were killed by a Hamas sympathizer, screaming "Free Palestine" and "I did it for Hamas." He wasn't an Islamist from the Middle East but a radical Leftist from Chicago, promoting the lies of global antisemites. The Intifada (uprising) has truly become globalized. Words have morphed into actions and Jewish people are now being killed. Then the Boulder attack happened.
There is a soft coup that is being attempted in Israel. Liberal members of the Knesset are rejecting Prime Minister Netanyahu’s leadership, while the judiciary has him in court at least 12 hours a week, trying him on bogus corruption charges. This is the enemy at work, and he is trying to take the prime minister down before Hamas is fully destroyed.
The RCMP referred to its quietly introduced investigation as a "sensitive matter" in its statement, which was released in response to news reports exposing the clearly anti-Israel initiative. Despite their insistence that the probe "does not target any community or group," media outlets have sounded the alarm that Canadian citizens who have served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) could be in the crosshairs of police.
While the United States was engaged in negotiations last month, Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei threatened America and once again called Israel a "cancerous tumor" that must be removed. During his speech, his supporters shouted, "Death to the America! Death to Israel!" What kind of deal could you possibly make with this evil, wicked regime?
For decades, all attempts at obtaining a two-state solution have met significant roadblocks. A major obstacle is the Arabs’ steadfast refusal to recognize Israel. Iran, the mastermind behind many terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, adamantly rejects the Jewish state’s legitimacy. This impassible barrier has existed since 1948.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Thursday that Israel will prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons “with or without an agreement,” as he praised the Israeli Air Force’s role in recent operations against the Islamic Republic and addressed graduates of the latest IAF pilots’ course.
Franklin Graham expressed the heart behind the gift: “We dedicate it to the Lord Jesus Christ and it’s important that we show in a tangible way to the people of Israel that we as Christians stand with them.” Pastor Laurie reiterated the importance of the support provided to the Israeli people: “We’re saying today, you’re not alone. We stand with you. We pray for you. The Bible says, ‘Pray for the peace of Jerusalem’ (Psalm 122:6), and we do pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”
The devil’s fury against God and His people explains why Israel, since its miraculous rebirth as a nation in 1948, has faced almost constant warfare, terrorism, and repeated threats of impending destruction. He knows how Israel’s existence fits into God’s revealed plans to wrap up human history and inaugurate the millennial kingdom at Jesus’ Second Coming, events that spell his doom.
Standing with terrorists who are trying to destroy Israel is not going to bring blessing to your country; it is, without question, going to bring curses. In Genesis 12:3, God says that He will bless those who bless the Jewish people and curse those who curse them. It is really that simple. God says that the land is not for sale, and He is going to judge the nations who stick their noses in with the intention of dividing up God's covenant land, as my country has endeavored to do.
Yesterday marked a tragic anniversary for Israel. It was the six hundredth day since the beginning of the war against Hamas. As tragic as that number is, it can also be seen as a praiseworthy celebration. Over that time, nearly 35,000 rockets and missiles were launched towards Israel, not including mortars and anti-tank missiles. Of that number, 97% were intercepted by Israel’s defenses. And despite being at war, Israel’s economy is strong. Unemployment is low, the stock market is at an all-time high, and the country is thriving. That is the definition of a miracle.
Rodriguez was full of hatred because, for years, that's what he was consuming. He fed his mind and soul on anti-American, anti-Israel, and antisemitic content. We are what we eat—not just physically but spiritually and intellectually. The same university thought that radicalized Rodriguez is spreading like a metastasizing cancer across America.
Just as the Spanish monarchy once scapegoated the Jewish people to appease public sentiment and consolidate power, today's rhetoric risks repeating that injustice under the guise of moral posturing. Targeting Israel in a cultural arena mirrors the same exclusionary mindset that fueled centuries of Jewish persecution in Spain.
The report specifically addressed anti-Israel protests and demonstrations taking place in Ontario, Canada's most populous Province: "In the past few days, the discourse surrounding these events has become more radical, including what could be understood as calls to violently harm Israelis and Jews at these events." The alert comes after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney joined forces with the UK and France last week to publicly condemn the Jewish State.
The obsession of so many nations to interfere with Israel’s sovereignty is bizarre. How can we possibly understand it apart from Bible prophecy? It may look like it’s the world versus Israel, but behind the scenes, it’s Satan seeking to disrupt the Lord’s intent to bring a remnant of the Jewish people to repentance before His return, and then reward them with a glorious kingdom.
The tragic and senseless murders of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim on the streets of Washington, D.C., are far more than another headline—they should stir the conscience of the global Church. In their deaths, we witness a powerful intersection between the Jewish and Christian communities—a moment that reveals just how deeply connected our stories truly are. These two Jewish believers in Jesus were killed for the “hope of Israel” (Acts 28:20), the very phrase the Apostle Paul used to describe the unbreakable link between his faith in the Messiah and God’s promises to His people.
France, Britain, and Canada just issued a joint statement saying they will take “concrete” actions against Israel if the war in Gaza is not halted immediately and the pace of humanitarian aid increased. Sweden’s foreign minister has announced she will promote the imposition of sanctions by the EU on Israeli ministers. Spain’s parliament has approved consideration of a proposal to ban arms trade with Israel. The devil is angry that one more of his plans to wipe out Israel has failed, and, so, the nations are raging.
It is not another radical Islam crime. It is a result of the continual normalization of antisemitism that we have been witnessing over the last couple of years. Words chanted such as "Free Palestine" or "Globalize the Intifada" eventually led to blood being shed, and this is exactly the outcome of Wednesday evening's attacks.
Two Israeli embassy staffers were shot and killed in an anti-Semitic shooting attack in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday evening around 9 PM. According to a spokesperson for the embassy, the diplomats were shot "at close range" while attending an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
At its root, antisemitism poignantly reveals the battle — ideological, but also spiritual — that exists surrounding Israel and the Jewish people. I believe that God chose the Jewish people and set them apart to be a light for all nations. The Lord Himself promised the Jewish people the land of Israel forever, where His name is set and where the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to reign from Jerusalem.
In addition to exposing the biased media coverage and making sure Christians understand the historical context and current challenges faced by Israel, there is also a huge need for Christian leaders to make sure they are addressing these issues from the pulpit. Now is the time to change that statistic so that a much higher percentage can say they have heard how important this issue is from the pulpit. Pastors need to focus on making sure they equip their congregations with a solid biblical theology of Israel.
"Pogroms rarely begin with organized massacres," The Free Press stressed, "typically, they start with tolerated incitement, with mobs unpunished, and with authorities hesitant to act decisively for fear of political blowback. And that is perhaps the most alarming thing of all happening right now in Canada."
Twenty years passed, since Hamas took over the leadership of Gaza, and that was enough time for the population to wonder why so many tunnels were being built, why so many weapons were being placed in their homes, why kindergartens and hospitals were being outfitted with rocket launchers and why their children were preparing for battle. None of this came as a surprise to them. Each one willingly participated in the preparation of the greatest act of evil which had been committed since the Holocaust, and that is on them.
Despite the fake news media, there are no indications that President Trump has thrown Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu under the bus. The United States is still our greatest ally, and I don’t see that changing under this administration.
An analysis of Scripture and the worldwide political alliances being formed today strongly indicate that we are living in the last days and that the rebirth of Israel in 1948 is the very one predicted in Ezekiel 37. Scripture provides irrefutable proof that the modern State of Israel must exist in the latter days, prior to the Messiah’s Second Coming. Today, the nation of Israel is uniquely positioned to experience the fulfillment of God’s prophetic program.
The fake news media machine is working overtime to manufacture a rift between Israel and President Trump—and they concocted this tale right before the American leader was headed to Saudi Arabia. This isn't journalism, it's propaganda designed to tear President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu apart.
Those who hate Israel often call for intifada, an Arabic word meaning “uprising.” Pro-Hamas demonstrators carry signs with slogans like “Intifada Until Victory,” “There Is Only One Solution: Intifada Revolution,” and “Globalize the Intifada.” Members of the media and higher education assure us these messages are calls for peaceful protests and boycotts, not war. But reality tells a different story.
Many pastors teach the eternal security of the saints, yet tell us this same steadfast love and mercy don’t apply to the descendants of Jacob. Is it not God’s unalterable word that guarantees both outcomes? Do they think they are more worthy of His unfailing love than Israel?
It was just a few years ago when several red heifers were spotted in Rockwall, Texas. They were carefully inspected, and after being qualified by several rabbis, they were transported to Israel, where they still reside today. So, what is the big deal with these red cows, and more importantly, why would Hamas concern itself with a Jewish Temple requirement?
By creating the Hamas-free humanitarian zone in the south, it will allow Israel to level the rest of Gaza, removing all the remaining terrorist hidey-holes and tunnels. If anyone thinks that the average Israelis don’t have the stomach for this kind of action, they just need to look at the latest call up for reservists. The IDF called 60,000 back to duty, and the IDF received a 102% response rate. That means that not only did all those called show up, but others who had not been summoned came also to see how they could help.
While we all desire a peaceful resolution, do you genuinely believe that the Iranian regime, with its ambitions to annihilate Israel, will suddenly cease its efforts? Or that its satanic hatred towards the Jewish state will simply vanish? A simple reading of Ezekiel 38 and 39 tells a different story. The answer is unequivocally "No."
If you're wondering why Israel would shut down the airport and Hudaydah Port—surprise, surprise—both were being used as transit points for smuggling in Iranian-supplied weapons. The weapons being transferred included ballistic missile components, the very same weapons the Houthis used to spark the retaliatory Israeli strikes by targeting the Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on Sunday.
While it is his hope and ongoing prayer that a deal would be agreed upon and kept, the Ambassador remarked that he is not overtly optimistic. "There is a lot at stake if something doesn't happen. The President has been adamant that they are not going to get nuclear weapons. They are adamant they are. That's a stalemate."
On Sunday, Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, which struck an access road right outside of the airport. Israeli government and military officials said right away, 'This cannot stand; we must strike back'—and strike back they did.
On a map, the world’s only Jewish state looks like a small sliver in the vast lands of the Middle East. Including Judea and Samaria (also known as the West Bank), Israel occupies only 10,000 square miles in a Middle East region of 8.4 million square miles. Yet in the news and in the minds of humanity, the nation of Israel looms large.
Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, has been marching shoulder-to-shoulder in support of Israel for decades. This week, he led a delegation of Christian leaders. "We need to stand against this rise of anti-semitism and call it out for what it is. It's dark. It's demonic. It is running counter to God's plan. We need to know the Word of God, and then we need to stand upon the Word of God.
In many areas, Israel is on fire, but it’s not because of the weather or other natural events. Israel is burning because its enemies have set it on fire. We saw the beginning of this arson several days ago, but the flames never fully took. But now with the high, swirling winds and the very hot days, the Israeli landscape has become a tinderbox.
On May 14, 1948, Israel was reborn as a modern nation, setting the stage for end-time events that continue to unfold today. What an interesting time to live in! The truth is that Israel Independence Day is a powerful testimony about Jewish resilience in the face of crisis and God's faithfulness in a hopeless world.
The Bible talks about a future war where Russia and Iran lead a coalition of nations in an all-out assault on Israel. That war will one day happen whether Iran has nukes or not. The Bible says this massive attack will not defeat Israel. But it gives no such assurances about the future of the United States.
