Some worry the Mecca Agreement is aimed at countering Israel. Just a day after the pact was signed, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the Islamic world “must unite to confront the common threat posed by Israel.” He added, “Israel poses a threat to all of us. Islamic countries must adopt a coordinated approach to address this threat.” Turkish leaders have also intensified verbal attacks against Israel and vowed to reconquer Jerusalem for Islam. A senior Israeli official said the alliance “is directed against Israel.”

Hatred of Israel saturated Ghazali’s social media content. Just hours before attacking Temple Israel, he took to social media and posted several comments across various profiles, including “Israel is a cancerous/malignant growth,” “Israel is pure evil,” and “The oppressors will soon know what kind of end they will meet.” By the grace of God, only the terrorist met his end. But his demise is no solid comfort to the Jewish community because it has violently experienced the truth that there is no practical difference between hatred of the Jewish state and hatred of the Jewish people.

I love all my brothers and sisters in Christ, but I’m wounded when I hear fellow believers dismiss or attack Israel and the Jewish people. The laundry list of excuses for this behavior includes many acrobatic contortions of Scripture that distance Christians from Jewish people. Antisemitic tropes also play a part in these condemnations. So does misinformation about the Jewish nation, as many Christians understand little of the State of Israel’s history of fighting for its life in defensive wars. They look at the nation’s activity in Gaza and Iran as an unforgivable sin because of the negative optics of military conflict, and they refuse to honor Scripture’s call to bless His Chosen People—even those who have never set foot in Israeli land.

If you’re like most Americans, you’ve had plenty on your mind leading into the midterms—inflation, immigration, healthcare, artificial intelligence, the economy, the Iran war, and control of Congress. But another issue has risen to the top of the nation’s agenda: Israel. Congressional representatives are powerful. Congress controls funding, shapes sanctions, and influences American diplomacy. The men and women elected in November will determine whether the historic U.S.-Israel relationship remains strong or continues undergoing the most significant political reassessment in generations. When you enter the voting booth, you won’t see Israel’s name on the ballot. But make no mistake: Israel is there.

The unholy red-green alliance is the main reason Europe is a basket case today. Mass civil unrest and civil war seem inevitable. There's no easy way out of the mess Europe's elites have created. They chose to import millions of Muslims, reject Christianity, and embrace socialism. Now the people of Europe are paying a very heavy price. Across the West, you see two nations willing to defend their civilization: the United States and Israel. Everything else in between, from Europe to Canada to Australia, is a mess.

Those familiar with Australia will know that it is often affectionately called “Down Under.” The origins of the name are obvious. Being located deep in the southern hemisphere, Australia is “down” and “under” almost all other land masses. Yet, there is also a spiritual parallel to this geographic description. Australia is going down spiritually and is suffering under deception, particularly that deception which manifests in Jew-hatred.

Antisemitism continues to become normalized on so many levels, and it is also gaining momentum to soon become state-sponsored. The 2026 Nobel Peace Prize decision will help that transition further. In a world where good becomes evil and evil is praised, it is hard to be a person of good will, let alone a Christian. The Norwegian Nobel Committee is confident in the integrity of Ms. Pillay, so she is the recipient of the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. Once again, the narrative wins over facts. The United Nations is worthless and obsolete, and the Nobel Prize Committee might have joined that woke social club. Next year, maybe all one will have to do is be the holder of the world record for the most time they uttered "Free Palestine" in a year, and they will win.

Hamas brutally attacked Israel. Its leaders publicly said that they would continue such attacks. Their goal, stated repeatedly, is not a "two-state solution," but Israel’s complete destruction. To this day, they and their allies repeat their genocidal goal every time they chant, “From the river to the sea,” or “Death to Israel,” or “Gas the Jews.” Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said, “Israel has an inherent and inalienable right to defend itself.” To me, it seems self-evident that all nations have, not just the right, but the obligation to defend their people. For years, Hamas has been firing rockets into Israel. After October 7, they fired thousands of such rockets from residential buildings, mosques, schools, and even hospitals. Their actions made those areas legitimate military targets. They do this knowing that civilian deaths in high numbers help their cause.

It was a solemn day of remembrance – yet astoundingly, vigils for the victims were met with flagrantly antisemitic protests around the world, including in New York City. The mayor of New York and his counterpart in London both marked the anniversary with statements that, after a throat-clearing mention of the October 7 attacks themselves, were devoted to defaming the Israeli government rather than honoring the victims of the pogrom. It’s just too much to ask for the people of Israel and the global Jewish diaspora to be granted even a day to mourn their dead; instead, their pain is weaponized to punish the Jewish people for daring to defend themselves.

The UK Green Party has no understanding of the geopolitical reality surrounding Israel, its history, or most importantly, what God's Word says about Israel. The Bible makes it clear that God has an enduring purpose and plan for the Jewish people on the land of Israel. To stand against what God has declared concerning Israel is ultimately to stand against the God of the universe. That's a scary place to be. God is a Zionist. He founded Zion. He chose Zion. He loves Zion. He is zealous for Zion. If you believe your political party can ultimately prosper in its endeavors while openly defying what God has declared concerning Zion and the Jewish people… think again!

There is one other ray of light that breaks through on an otherwise very dark day. It is the change in the mindset of many Israelis. Our people have moved to the right politically, and many have moved toward faith in God. An amazing spiritual awakening is taking place. Though it may not last, seeing people turn toward God fills me with far greater hope than what I’ve been watching in the past as they drift toward hedonism, liberalism, and globalism. We have also seen the hand of God on many occasions these past three years. Most recently, the reported attempt to hijack a commercial aircraft carrying 174 Israelis and crash it in a 9/11-style attack ended with all lives spared.

With his son still fighting for his life, the ambassador stepped away from his bedside to issue a powerful response to New York City Mayor Zorhan Mamdani, rebuking his “dangerous lies” on the anniversary of October 7th. “It’s actually hard to find a sentence in Mamdani’s post that isn’t a lie,” the ambassador began. “Paying lip service to the victims of October 7 just to spread blood libels about Israel might play nicely to the red-green/communist-Islamist alliance that he promotes in the U.S, but those of us who know better see his perverted language for what it is.”

On the three-year anniversary of the deadliest attack on Israel in modern history, the Jewish nation continues to be misjudged by global leaders—who accuse America’s ally of war crimes following its response to Hamas’ attack on Oct. 7, 2023—says U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. “Israel is held to a standard that no one else has ever been held to. What would America do to get 250 Americans out of captivity who were being beaten, raped and starved? If that’s our sons and daughters, what do we do?”

On the third anniversary of October 7th, student organizers in London, England, are determined to hold a pro-Palestinian march through the city. The London Metropolitan Police urged them to choose another date, noting that the demonstration was deliberately planned for the anniversary of Hamas's attack on Israel, warning about the impact it could have on Jewish students and staff. This was also the timing around which the United Kingdom's Green Party voted to adopt a “Zionism is racism” motion, in what the Jerusalem Post describes as “Europe's first mainstream political party to formally embrace an anti-Zionist position.”

For students of Bible prophecy, the question is unavoidable: is the Israel-Iran conflict connected to Bible prophecy? The answer requires both conviction and caution. We should not make the mistake of turning every missile launch into a fulfillment of prophecy. Yet neither should we ignore the extraordinary fact that approximately 2,500 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel specifically identified Persia as part of a future military coalition that would come against Israel. Persia is modern-day Iran. That alone should cause every serious student of prophecy to pay attention.

So, it is appropriate to remember the tragedy of October 7. In a gruesome Holocaust fashion, many lost their lives after psychological torture, violence, rape, and fire. Many more were taken hostage by Hamas and a plethora of willing Palestinian co-perpetrators (70%-75%). Even during Nazi Germany, some Germans rescued and sheltered Jews. Not one Palestinian did such a thing in Gaza. The families of all these innocent victims are remembered on this sober third anniversary. Will the wounds of October 7, 2023 ever heal? They might, to a point, but not without a scar.

We must remember our friends and our allies around the world—particularly Israel and the Jewish people, the one distinct ethnic group of people about which God tells us in His Word to bless and to support. In Genesis 12:3, what did God say to Abraham? “I will bless those who bless you.” Yet many people these days, including a lot of Christians, think that it is trendy, intellectual-sounding, or will garner clicks to oppose things all related to the Jews. Anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world. 2025 was designated by the Anti-Defamation League as the deadliest year of anti-Semitism. Three months after October 7th in 2023, anti-Semitism had risen 360%.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry accused the Greens of adopting an ideology aimed at Israel’s destruction and said the resolution went far beyond legitimate criticism of Israeli government policy. The ministry said the motion “labels as ‘racist’ the aspiration of the Jewish people for self-determination” while advocating a Palestinian state “from the river to the sea.” Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar subsequently barred Green Party leader Zack Polanski from entering Israel, saying the resolution constituted antisemitism under the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition because it denied Jews the right to self-determination.

Nearly one in five likely American voters say they would accept a peace agreement ending the Iran war that would dissolve the State of Israel and replace it with a Palestinian state if the deal also brought lower oil and gasoline prices, according to a new poll.

It seems that each day brings a new attack on the Jewish people – whether on the streets of New York or aboard the FlyDubai flight to Tel Aviv that nearly ended in catastrophe just a few days ago. The tide of antisemitism unleashed around the globe following the October 7 massacre wasn’t just confined to Hamas sympathizers in the region – it galvanized antisemites around the world to express their hatred for Jews under the flimsy guise of “anti-Zionism.”

An Iranian Christian and former pastor has been granted a one-year residency permit in Israel following an appeal from U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee. N12 News reported that in a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Huckabee, who personally knows Iranian-American pastor Ramin Parsa and his wife, Yasmin, highlighted his “steadfast advocacy on behalf of Israel, the importance of his voice in confronting the Iranian threat, and the humanitarian considerations concerning his family.”

The Israel Defense Forces said Thursday that 170 Palestinians killed during the Gaza war and publicly identified as journalists or media workers were actually members of terrorist organizations, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

On Wednesday, we saw a miracle in the skies. All of Israel is rejoicing, and we should be rejoicing with them. A major catastrophe was averted that would have sent shock waves around the world. A flight traveling from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Tel Aviv, carrying 174 passengers, including more than 100 Israelis, narrowly escaped being hijacked by the co-pilot, a citizen of the Arab Gulf nation of Oman. God is a God of miracles. Tragedy was turned into triumph.

If you are newly tuning into Israel’s challenges on the world stage, it is important to know that the media’s campaign against Israel is not new. When it comes to Gaza’s partnership with the media, the same tactics persist: reinterpreting Israel's agenda, selective casualty reporting, omitting the element of terrorism, glossing the terrorists, failing to clarify combatant status, attaching misleading photos to articles, or including pictures in articles without context. We are in an age of deception.

We must remember that the regime in Tehran is the same regime that slaughtered 72,000 of its own people. They are not going to give up willingly. Their current actions reinforce this conclusion. Tehran despises the United States and Israel. Any form of surrender to what they consider the “great Satan” and the “little Satan” seems to be out of the question. Iranian authorities assert that more than 1 million people are expected to sign up for their new “Janfada” mobilization campaign, with a claimed initial 1,000 units—which they describe as battalions—prepared. As stated earlier, to boost the numbers, Iran is even recruiting children.

Are European Jewish identity and freedom circling the drain? How much longer before we see a mass exodus to Eretz Yisrael, forced by the unlivable conditions experienced in Europe? Norway was trying to pass a law in mid-September 2026 that would criminalize anyone doing business with Israeli settlements in Judea/Samaria (also known as the West Bank). The law is currently being discussed in the Norwegian Parliament. Even if it doesn't pass right now, it is a symptom of a much bigger problem; Jews and those supporting them are slowly being outlawed. If passed, that law would give Norway the right to incarcerate people for up to three years. When I first heard of that, I got very concerned. As it turned out, the virus is spreading fast and reaching other parts of Europe.

For those who claim that modern Israel is not Biblical Israel, I would ask: Then why is everything written about Biblical Israel by the prophets happening to the modern state of Israel? Why is the world gathered against her? Why are there efforts to divide the city of Jerusalem? Why is the city a burdensome stone to all the nations? The fact is, Israel’s existence today confirms the fulfillment of prophecies that tell us God’s prophetic clock is moving toward its foretold end. Israel is the timepiece by which last-days events can be measured.

On Thursday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu walked to the podium at the United Nations General Assembly, the majority of those seated rose to their feet, not to applaud but to stage a mass walkout. The same had occurred in 2024—though it was discovered that assistants and lower-ranking individuals were deliberately brought into the room to make the exit appear more dramatic for the international cameras. Netanyahu was ready for a repeat of the display, beginning his speech on Thursday with the following statement: “Mr. President, before I begin, just a quick announcement: If there are any other moral cowards who haven’t yet left this hall—please do so now. Thank you very much.”

President Isaac Herzog, Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir attended the arrival ceremony. Katz called the submarine’s arrival a clear warning to Iran and others seeking to threaten the Jewish state. “Distance does not grant immunity, not in the air, not on land, and not at sea,” Katz said. The vessel will now undergo the Navy’s operational integration process. Israeli officials said its advanced systems, stealth and endurance will strengthen the country’s ability to confront threats far beyond its shores.
