What a state the “woke church” is in! Well, the “woke church” is not the true church. Compromise with the world and the thinking of today abounds.

I've heard believers say things like, "You know, it's not about knowing doctrine. I'm not into doctrine. I'm just into loving Jesus." It's almost like their badge of spirituality. It sounds like they're saying they are a cut above the rest of us, because they're not into instruction.

We have good reason for concern. As a nation, we are not embracing the self-discipline needed to maintain liberty. We are not repentant over our national sins. The nation tends to put its hope in men and technology — not in God. 

The problem with modern preaching is that it leaves our future after this life undefined. The more popular views of Bible prophecy point our hope to a far-distant Second Coming of Jesus, during which time He judges sin and initiates the eternal state. Parishioners can only guess as to what such a future means for them.

Romans says that someday, all Israel will be saved. Since that hasn’t happened, it must be in the future. And if it is yet future, then how can someone say that modern Israel is not the Israel of the Bible? The only way to arrive at that kind of conclusion is to think, “I am a believer in Christ who doesn’t believe all the Bible is true.”

Because of America’s long history of peace and security, most of its citizens live with what’s called a “normalcy bias.” As a result, even many Christians label those of us who warn of the dangers inherent in a world speeding toward the Tribulation period as “conspiracy theorists.”

With Bible prophecy, it’s necessary to distinguish between the comings and goings if one is to qualify, in the words of 2 Timothy 2:15, as “rightly dividing the word of truth.” Words matter if we are to avoid running the wrong way when it comes to Bible prophecy (see Proverbs 30:5).

We praise God that there are, even in this late hour, many remnant and fearless churches and ministries worldwide that the Lord is using to stand against the tide of evil and proclaim the hope of the gospel.  However, we must also recognise that not all of the church body is fearless - there a good many who are fainting.

I have to wonder, when God spoke through his servants and warned generation after generation of the coming deceptions, could servants like Moses, Paul, and Peter even imagine the depth of deception this modern-day technology makes possible?

Now, no one knows what will happen with this bird flu. But we do know that the Bible predicts in the end times that deadly plagues and pestilence are going to be catastrophic and sweep the globe.

Satan’s version of free speech is designed to tear people down, spread lies, invoke violence against God’s chosen people (Israel), and destroy the witness of the church.

The future Antichrist system will lead to the demand for the global worshipping of the Beast. If nations today are willing to give up sovereignty for a proposed pandemic treaty, what will the world leaders be willing to give up in the Tribulation period.

That evil spirit that concerns Mr. Bongino and many of his friends and colleagues is made manifest by John’s Holy Spirit-inspired revelation. The spirit of Antichrist is as prevalent as in the apostle’s time of writing about it.

Christians must be alert to the deceptive intrusion of anything with a stated goal of stopping and criminalizing certain types of speech. Legislation that purports to bring greater degrees of safety offered to us during times of national crisis always has ulterior motives buried deep within the language.

Sadly, instead of throwing off the sin that entangles and disables (Hebrews 12:1-2), the UMC chose to embrace and welcome the sin, effectively changing the label from sin to "a matter of personal conscience." Did God change His mind?

These divisions are not a one-and-done kind of thing. A group divides, then the two resulting groups have divisions, and on it goes. Like nuclear fission, the chain reaction of divisions can lead to massive explosions. 

As a pastor who believes in a pre-Tribulation rapture, let me say this: I am not preparing the bride for wrath; I am preparing the bride for a wedding.  I am not preparing the bride to have her garments stained by the wickedness of the world, I am preparing the bride to hold onto the purity and hope of Christ.
