China Prepares To Set Up First Military Base In The Atlantic

Communist China has officials in the Biden administration scrambling as classified U.S. intelligence reportedly shows that China is pushing to build a military base on the Atlantic Ocean, which poses a major threat to U.S. national security.

“Classified American intelligence reports suggest China intends to establish its first permanent military presence on the Atlantic Ocean in the tiny Central African country of Equatorial Guinea,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “[U.S. officials] said the reports raise the prospect that Chinese warships would be able to rearm and refit opposite the East Coast of the U.S.—a threat that is setting off alarm bells at the White House and Pentagon.”

A top U.S. official reportedly visited Equatorial Guinea this fall to push the nation’s leaders to reject China’s overtures as the communist nation ramps up its aggression in the face of a weak and incompetent U.S. administration that has repeatedly botched major foreign policy decisions from Afghanistan to dealing with allies to delisting terrorist organizations.

The Journal added:

The great-power skirmishing over a country that rarely draws outside attention reflects the rising tensions between Washington and Beijing. The two countries are sparring over the status of Taiwan, China’s testing of a hypersonic missile, the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic and other issues.

World-wide, the U.S. finds itself maneuvering to try to block China from projecting its military power from new overseas bases, from Cambodia to the United Arab Emirates.

In Equatorial Guinea, the Chinese likely have an eye on Bata, according to a U.S. official. Bata already has a Chinese-built deep-water commercial port on the Gulf of Guinea, and excellent highways link the city to Gabon and the interior of Central Africa.

Gen. Stephen Townsend, commander of U.S. Africa Command, told the U.S. Senate earlier this year that the “most significant threat” from China could pose to U.S. national security would be “a militarily useful naval facility on the Atlantic coast of Africa.”

“By militarily useful I mean something more than a place that they can make port calls and get gas and groceries,” he said. “I’m talking about a port where they can rearm with munitions and repair naval vessels.”

The report said that not only has the Biden administration sought to portray that aligning itself with China would be a mistake, but they have also tried to warm relations with the small African nation.

The report added:

Beijing set up its first overseas military base in 2017 in Djibouti, on the opposite side of the continent. The former French colony looks onto the Bab-el-Mandeb strait, a strategic chokepoint for shipping traffic transiting the Suez Canal. The Chinese facility has a pier capable of docking an aircraft carrier and nuclear submarines, according to U.S. Africa Command.

The base is 6 miles from the largest American base in Africa, Camp Lemonnier, home to 4,500 U.S. troops.

“China doesn’t just build a military base like the U.S.,” said Paul Nantulya, research associate at the Pentagon-funded Africa Center for Strategic Studies. “The Chinese model is very, very different. It combines civilian as well as security elements.”

This development comes after it was revealed earlier this year that China was working to construct a secret military facility in a UAE Port, according to US intelligence agencies.

Unbeknownst to the UAE government, Satellite imagery of the port of Khalifa showed suspicious construction and excavations at a terminal built and operated by a Chinese company. The United States held urgent talks with the United Arab Emirates and presented their intelligence to the country’s authorities. Although the UAE denied that the military facility was being built, a recent expectation showed that following the meeting, the Chinese construction work had been suspended.

In recent months, China has exponentially increased its brazenness and threats.

During the Biden administration’s pullout of troops from Afghanistan, China seized the opportunity to take advantage of US weakness and embarrassment on the world scene. They became exponentially more brazen with their rhetoric and sought to usurp more power and control.

China’s Nine-Dash Line - Map

On August 29th, one day prior to the completion of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Chinese authorities demanded that all foreign vessels within the “nine-dash line,” which they referred to as “their territorial waters,” would be required to “report their information.”

The Chinese Maritime Safety Administration further claimed it “has the power to dispel or reject a vessel’s entry to Chinese waters if the vessel is found to pose threat to China’s national security,” according to the Global Times.

Zero Hedge reported in August that, “China’s ‘nine-dash line’ is deemed by most countries as being inconsistent with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), which only gives states the right to establish a territorial sea up to 12 nautical miles.”

Meanwhile, China in recent months has also escalated its threats of war. In July, the CCP published a ‘three-stage’ plan to invade Taiwan, and threatened to nuke Japan should they dare to intervene. In August, they warned Taiwan that the US would not come to their rescue “once a war breaks out” in the Straits.

In October it was revealed that during the summer the Chinese tested a “nuclear-capable hypersonic missile.”

In November, the CCP built full-scale mockups of US Navy ships to seemingly use as target practice, further increasing tensions.

In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus, “What shall be the sign of thy coming?” Jesus’s response is a detailed description of the condition of the world and what it will look like in the last days before His return. Wars and rumours of wars, nation rising against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, these being the beginning of sorrows.

In Luke 21:25, Jesus says, “There will be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth Distress of Nations with Perplexity, the seas and the wave roaring. These things will be greatly increased and primarily take place during the seven-year Tribulation (from which the church is absent). However, with the current global state of turmoil amongst the nations, we can’t help but recognize the distress of nations Jesus describes in Luke 21 and Matthew 24, rising in our world today.

Purim: Jewish Survival Isn’t Contingent On The World’s Hostility, But The Power Of God

Today, we have the same spirit of the annihilation of the Jews coming from the same part of the world. Modern Iranian leaders are obsessed with the spirit of Haman even today. We don’t need an Esther in the palace anymore. We need the prayers of the saints worldwide.

Left Media Descends Into Panic As Homeschool Mom Runs For NC Superintendent

Obviously, the establishment was not pleased with Morrow referring to public schools as “indoctrination centers” and blasting them for brainwashing children with “socialism.” Voters, however, loved her honest approach, giving her an upset victory against an establishment bigwig who was expected to win easily.
