Post-American World Order? China Uses Afghan Crisis to Warn Taiwan: When We Take Over, ‘US Military Won’t Come To Help’

Beijing announced their intentions of having a friendly, amicable relationship with the Taliban, which took over Afghanistan over the weekend in light of the US withdrawal from that nation. State-run media reports that the disaster in Afghanistan should be a warning to Taiwan that the US will not help them should China seek to overtake the island.

Chinese state-run media outlet Global Times reported that “From what happened in Afghanistan, those in Taiwan should perceive that once a war breaks out in the Straits, the island’s defense will collapse in hours and US military won’t come to help.”

“As a result,” Global Times writes, “the DPP will quickly surrender.”

The Chinese Communist Party under the head of President Xi Jinping is the first nation to acknowledge the new Taliban government. Foreign Ministry spokewoman Hua Chunying said on Monday that “China respects the right of the Afghan people to independently determine their own destiny and is willing to continue to develop… friendly and cooperative relations with Afghanistan,” The Daily Beast reported.

Editor-in-chief of the Global Times, Hu Xijin, remarked that the hand-off between the US-backed government in Afghanistan and the Taliban was “even more smooth” that that which saw a transition between President Trump and President Biden.

The editorial in the Global Times cautions that “How Washington abandoned the Kabul regime particularly shocked some in Asia, including the island of Taiwan. Taiwan is the region that relies on the protection of the US the most in Asia, and the island’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities have made Taiwan go further and further down this abnormal path. The situation in Afghanistan suddenly saw a radical change after the country was abandoned by the US. And Washington just left despite the worsening situation in Kabul. Is this some kind of omen of Taiwan’s future fate?”

In July, Chinese state media published their plans for an invasion of Taiwan. The Chinese state-controlled magazine “Naval and Merchant Ships” detailed a three-stage plan to invade Taiwan, involving ballistic missiles, fighter jet attacks, and amphibious landings on Taiwan’s beaches.

The US is an ally of of Taiwan, though China repeatedly condemns those who recognize Taiwan as an independent nation. They went so far as to demand that NBC correct a map they broadcast during the Tokyo that did not show Taiwan as part of China.

The US and Taiwan have had a defensive pact since March 3, 1955, and relations between the two nations have subsequently been governed by the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act.

Xi Jinping said during a recent speech celebrating 100 years of communism in China, that “Resolving the Taiwan question and realizing China’s complete reunification is a historic mission and an unshakable commitment of the Communist Party of China.”

“We must take resolute action to utterly defeat any attempt toward ‘Taiwan independence,’ and work together to create a bright future for national rejuvenation. No one should underestimate the resolve, the will, and the ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Xi said.

China continues to refuse to recognize the existence of Taiwan as an independent nation. China essentially took over Hong Kong during the pandemic, squashing pro-democracy protests, arresting both activists and those in media who advocated for democracy and autonomy for Hong Kong. The arrest of media mogul Jimmy Lai, and his sentencing, resulted in the end of the last free media in Hong Kong.

In response to China’s threats against Taiwan, Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel wrote: “Ladies and gentlemen: the Post-American world order has begun!”

Former President Donald Trump in a statement Monday stated that the Biden Administration’s “surrender to the Taliban” has “destroyed” the “confidence of American power and influence.”

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in an interview on Fox News explained that the Biden admin has abandoned the global stage to focus on the political ideology. Adding, “weak American Leadership always harms American security.”

“I think that weak American Leadership always harms American security. This is in the context of a Biden Administration that has basically abandoned the global stage in favor of Climate change, they have been focused on Critical Race Theory… There is a real risk here.”

The warning from China comes after the CCP threaten to nuke Japan last month if they dared to intervene in its invasion of Taiwan.

“When we liberate Taiwan, if Japan dares to intervene by force, even if it only deploys one solider, one plane and one ship, we will not only return reciprocal fire, but also start a full scale war against Japan,” a verified military commentary channel urged. “We will use nuclear bombs first, we will use nuclear bombs continuously until Japan declares unconditional surrender for the second time.”

In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus, “What shall be the sign of thy coming?” Jesus’s response is a detailed description of the condition of the world and what it will look like in the last days before His return. Wars and rumours of wars, nation rising against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, these being the beginning of sorrows.

In Luke 21:25, Jesus says, “There will be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth Distress of Nations with Perplexity, the seas and the wave roaring.”

These things will be greatly increased and primarily take place during the seven-year Tribulation (from which the church is absent). However, with the current global state of turmoil amongst the nations, we can’t help but recognize the distress of nations Jesus describes in Luke 21 and Matthew 24, rising in our world today.

Barry Stagner recently questioned, “Is Our World Experiencing The Final Labor Pains?”:

We see the wars and rumors of wars, the ethnic tensions Jesus mentioned, we see the famines growing around the world, we also see the pestilence (I think we all have become more familiar than we ever wanted to be with pestilence/plague) and we see the cosmological and geological events that are escalating as well throughout the course of history.

But all of a sudden there seems to be a pretty significant bump in things, as far as their frequency and intensity. Could this be the final labor pains before the church is delivered and the Lord says to His Bride come up here? Well, we’ll see in the coming days.

Bent On Destruction: The Iranian Regime Says It Has ‘No Choice But To Build A Nuclear Bomb’

"If you (America) make the mistake of attacking us with a nuclear weapon, we have to show them that we will," Iranian economist Muhammad-Reza Yazdizadeh stated. "Talking about the range of our missiles is a joke. If we are hit, we will attack in Washington. They know that we have the missile range to do this, and we need to show them that we have the nuclear capability as well. At the very least, we can launch a dirty bomb against them."

Through Compromise, Numerous Modern Churches Are Guilty Of ‘Playing The Harlot’

The Bible uses strong language to describe any form of compromise with worldly thinking. And it doesn’t just apply to the ancient Israelites. Hosea 4:12 says, “My people ask counsel from their wooden idols, and their [wooden] staff informs them. For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, and they have played the harlot against their God.” Hosea used strong language against his fellow Israelites, calling them harlots because they had violated their vows to remain faithful to the one true God. Is it possible that Christians today, and particularly Christian leaders—in their zeal to make Christianity more enticing—are actually “playing the harlot,” too?

Will America Last Another 250 Years?

Looking back, there can be no denying that God has indeed shed His grace—His unmerited favor—on our land, from sea to shining sea. But does our national “soul” encourage self-control? Do our laws champion ordered liberty? Is our success tempered with nobleness? Is brotherhood the defining characteristic of any good we aspire to reflect? By all of those measures, America seems decidedly adrift. We are drifting farther and farther from Nature’s God—the Ruler of the Universe our Founders called upon and credited with for our celebrated independence.
