Two Israeli embassy staffers were shot and killed in an anti-Semitic shooting attack in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday evening around 9 PM. According to a spokesperson for the embassy, the diplomats were shot "at close range" while attending an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
At its root, antisemitism poignantly reveals the battle — ideological, but also spiritual — that exists surrounding Israel and the Jewish people. I believe that God chose the Jewish people and set them apart to be a light for all nations. The Lord Himself promised the Jewish people the land of Israel forever, where His name is set and where the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to reign from Jerusalem.
In addition to exposing the biased media coverage and making sure Christians understand the historical context and current challenges faced by Israel, there is also a huge need for Christian leaders to make sure they are addressing these issues from the pulpit. Now is the time to change that statistic so that a much higher percentage can say they have heard how important this issue is from the pulpit. Pastors need to focus on making sure they equip their congregations with a solid biblical theology of Israel.
"Pogroms rarely begin with organized massacres," The Free Press stressed, "typically, they start with tolerated incitement, with mobs unpunished, and with authorities hesitant to act decisively for fear of political blowback. And that is perhaps the most alarming thing of all happening right now in Canada."
Twenty years passed, since Hamas took over the leadership of Gaza, and that was enough time for the population to wonder why so many tunnels were being built, why so many weapons were being placed in their homes, why kindergartens and hospitals were being outfitted with rocket launchers and why their children were preparing for battle. None of this came as a surprise to them. Each one willingly participated in the preparation of the greatest act of evil which had been committed since the Holocaust, and that is on them.
Despite the fake news media, there are no indications that President Trump has thrown Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu under the bus. The United States is still our greatest ally, and I don’t see that changing under this administration.
An analysis of Scripture and the worldwide political alliances being formed today strongly indicate that we are living in the last days and that the rebirth of Israel in 1948 is the very one predicted in Ezekiel 37. Scripture provides irrefutable proof that the modern State of Israel must exist in the latter days, prior to the Messiah’s Second Coming. Today, the nation of Israel is uniquely positioned to experience the fulfillment of God’s prophetic program.
The fake news media machine is working overtime to manufacture a rift between Israel and President Trump—and they concocted this tale right before the American leader was headed to Saudi Arabia. This isn't journalism, it's propaganda designed to tear President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu apart.
Those who hate Israel often call for intifada, an Arabic word meaning “uprising.” Pro-Hamas demonstrators carry signs with slogans like “Intifada Until Victory,” “There Is Only One Solution: Intifada Revolution,” and “Globalize the Intifada.” Members of the media and higher education assure us these messages are calls for peaceful protests and boycotts, not war. But reality tells a different story.
Many pastors teach the eternal security of the saints, yet tell us this same steadfast love and mercy don’t apply to the descendants of Jacob. Is it not God’s unalterable word that guarantees both outcomes? Do they think they are more worthy of His unfailing love than Israel?
It was just a few years ago when several red heifers were spotted in Rockwall, Texas. They were carefully inspected, and after being qualified by several rabbis, they were transported to Israel, where they still reside today. So, what is the big deal with these red cows, and more importantly, why would Hamas concern itself with a Jewish Temple requirement?
By creating the Hamas-free humanitarian zone in the south, it will allow Israel to level the rest of Gaza, removing all the remaining terrorist hidey-holes and tunnels. If anyone thinks that the average Israelis don’t have the stomach for this kind of action, they just need to look at the latest call up for reservists. The IDF called 60,000 back to duty, and the IDF received a 102% response rate. That means that not only did all those called show up, but others who had not been summoned came also to see how they could help.
While we all desire a peaceful resolution, do you genuinely believe that the Iranian regime, with its ambitions to annihilate Israel, will suddenly cease its efforts? Or that its satanic hatred towards the Jewish state will simply vanish? A simple reading of Ezekiel 38 and 39 tells a different story. The answer is unequivocally "No."
If you're wondering why Israel would shut down the airport and Hudaydah Port—surprise, surprise—both were being used as transit points for smuggling in Iranian-supplied weapons. The weapons being transferred included ballistic missile components, the very same weapons the Houthis used to spark the retaliatory Israeli strikes by targeting the Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv on Sunday.
While it is his hope and ongoing prayer that a deal would be agreed upon and kept, the Ambassador remarked that he is not overtly optimistic. "There is a lot at stake if something doesn't happen. The President has been adamant that they are not going to get nuclear weapons. They are adamant they are. That's a stalemate."
On Sunday, Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, which struck an access road right outside of the airport. Israeli government and military officials said right away, 'This cannot stand; we must strike back'—and strike back they did.
On a map, the world’s only Jewish state looks like a small sliver in the vast lands of the Middle East. Including Judea and Samaria (also known as the West Bank), Israel occupies only 10,000 square miles in a Middle East region of 8.4 million square miles. Yet in the news and in the minds of humanity, the nation of Israel looms large.
Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, has been marching shoulder-to-shoulder in support of Israel for decades. This week, he led a delegation of Christian leaders. "We need to stand against this rise of anti-semitism and call it out for what it is. It's dark. It's demonic. It is running counter to God's plan. We need to know the Word of God, and then we need to stand upon the Word of God.
In many areas, Israel is on fire, but it’s not because of the weather or other natural events. Israel is burning because its enemies have set it on fire. We saw the beginning of this arson several days ago, but the flames never fully took. But now with the high, swirling winds and the very hot days, the Israeli landscape has become a tinderbox.
On May 14, 1948, Israel was reborn as a modern nation, setting the stage for end-time events that continue to unfold today. What an interesting time to live in! The truth is that Israel Independence Day is a powerful testimony about Jewish resilience in the face of crisis and God's faithfulness in a hopeless world.
The Bible talks about a future war where Russia and Iran lead a coalition of nations in an all-out assault on Israel. That war will one day happen whether Iran has nukes or not. The Bible says this massive attack will not defeat Israel. But it gives no such assurances about the future of the United States.
Those of us who take the Bible seriously know that the feasts of the Lord celebrated in Israel paint a prophetic picture of God's end-time plan. But these three modern observances, often considered "man-made traditions" by the average Israeli, stand as signs of fulfilled prophecy and God's faithfulness.
Hamas lied. Are you surprised? The New York Post recently published an article exposing the lies that Hamas told the world about how many children and civilians died in Gaza. Yet, the media has no plans to recant any of the false information that they have been purposely quoting.
Recently, a scam site offered to Gazans immigration to the Gulf states. In just four hours, 140,000 registered to escape the collapsed region. Prime Minister Netanyahu made clear in a speech on Saturday that he was not going to let the liberal, anarchist left stop him from destroying Hamas. The people see the writing on the wall. They want out. Unfortunately, they just can’t seem to find any neighbors who want to take them in.
The Holocaust is often referred to as an event of history perpetrated by insane people. We must refrain from claiming that the Nazis were insane, because insanity legally exonerates responsibility. Hitler and the Nazis were evil. Satan used them, and it would be accurate to say that many of them were demon-possessed. The murderers of October 7 were also used by Satan in the bloodiest attack on Israel in one day since the Holocaust.
If churches fail to teach about Israel and Christians fail to study Israel’s key role in God’s redemptive plan for the ages, they also will fail to understand why they should support Israel. Israel’s vital role did not end with Jesus’ ascension; it continues now and in the future.
Antisemitism, hatred of the Jewish people, is a shapeshifter. Its forms may change, but its heartbeat and destructive outcomes remain the same. Today, antisemitism has shifted yet again. It is morphing into what can be called national antisemitism, where Jews are hated not because of their religion or ethnicity but because of the State of Israel.
Just when it seemed like a possibility, Hamas shut it down on Tuesday. Why, when they see so many of their leaders and fellow terrorists being killed, are they so stubborn? Maybe it’s because they continue to get foreign support. President Macron of France said that his country may be ready to recognize a Palestinian state in June.
The late professor Robert Wistrich, head of the International Centre for Antisemitism at the Hebrew University, described antisemitism as “The Longest Hatred” and traced examples of it through from the inception of Jewish history till the present day. There is ultimately no reasonable "natural" explanation for why this is the case. The answer lies in the spiritual realm.
War could be imminent. The only thing that will for sure stop Iran from getting the bomb is to take out their nuclear facilities—and it may be just a matter of time. Israel and the United States have both said that they will never allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons.
Jesus will someday return to a truly repentant Israel, remorseful of their rejection of Him (see Zechariah 12:10-13:1). Their suffering during the latter years of the Tribulation period (Zechariah 13:8-9) will not only change the hearts of the Jewish people but also result in a gleeful welcoming of Christ into Jerusalem.
Although we are becoming accustomed to increasingly bizarre news stories across the world, sometimes there are stories which still surprise us. The most recent news story to fit into this category relates to recent revelations from declassified documents that America’s preeminent intelligence agency, the CIA, was deeply involved in a psychic quest for the Ark of the Covenant.
The former deal was sort of a “slow your program down for a while so it looks like I’ve done something, then you can ramp it back up and blow Israel to kingdom come once I’m out of office.” When Trump first came to power, he immediately nixed the deal. But now he’s talking about a new, improved deal, which is “shut your entire military nuclear program down or else we’re going to shut it down for you using really, really big bombs.”
Tensions are indeed running high as Iran remains hellbent on achieving a nuclear weapon to wipe Israel off the face of the map. According to some, we are mere weeks away from Iran achieving a nuclear weapon. For that reason, we are seeing a bolstering of US forces in the Middle East.
The fires of antisemitism run hot and go deep, and the winds of war blow its embers everywhere. As rage against Israel grows throughout the world, Israel becomes ever more desperate for peace. And that is setting them up for the deceptions of the Antichrist.
Their propaganda works. In America, 48% of 18–24-year-olds support Hamas over Israel. Terrorists have killed their thousands; TikTok its tens of thousands. But Hamas may have overplayed its hand. Gazans are tired of only receiving the crumbs from Hamas’s table. Local clans are starting to fight back, and people are getting killed.
Although this highly beneficial use of the eucalyptus tree is well documented, that hasn’t stopped antisemites from claiming that the planting of the trees is equal to a form of “green colonialism”. According to one scholar: “Planting trees is arguably the most insidious form of Palestinian erasure, and a lot of times it appears as protected parks, forests or natural reserves. Some call this an attempt to greenwash their theft.”
Who would have believed the nation Israel then would come into existence? It seemed virtually impossible. Yet in the aftermath of the Holocaust, Jews from around the world began returning to their homeland. On May 14, 1948, a modern-day miracle happened. Israel, surrounded by enemies that wanted to destroy her, became a nation.
"We represent the country we love so much. But when you hear the lies and the bias against Israel from so many countries, it's shocking. I tell my colleagues in Jerusalem, 'Keep it up. Finish the job. Deal with the terrorists, and we will handle all the pressure coming here at the UN.'"
It’s been a week of war for Israel. The difference this time is that our leaders and troops have the confidence to do what they need to do given the support of the current US administration. In light of this and the fact that Hamas is refusing to negotiate the hostages, our determination is higher than ever to put an end to this terrorist death cult that’s on the other side of the fence.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum's surprise decision to recognize "Palestine" as a sovereign state is both reckless and misguided. Here is the truth: the cartels are ruining Mexico, just like Hamas ruined Gaza. They're trafficking drugs, sex, weapons, and even children into the United States.
There seems to be an increasing number of Christians today who are convinced that the Jewish people are no longer God's chosen people. To them, modern-day Israel is considered irrelevant and not part of God's prophetic plan, and the church is now the chosen people of God. I'm here to tell you: those who hold to that position are dead wrong.
This time, because Israel has the full backing of the United States, the hostilities will continue until Israel’s war aims are complete. And, amidst the darkness of war, that at least is one shining light. As always, there is howling at the return to fighting by the international media, including most of the worthless news sources in Israel, saying that Netanyahu is using war to hold on to his tenuous power. When you read those headlines, remember the sources and understand that most in Israel are on his side when it comes to fighting this battle to the end. It must be done, and it must be done now.
The "gates of hell" have reopened in Gaza. Israeli fighter jets resumed targeted military operations on Hamas positions Tuesday morning, eliminating many high-ranking terror leaders. For three weeks, Hamas has refused to release a single Israeli hostage and rejected serious proposals brokered by President Donald Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff.
As Iran nears the finish line to obtain nuclear weapons, US President Trump is warning that the world is down to its "final moments" to intervene. While expressing his preference for a peace deal over military action, Trump maintained that significant developments are imminent.
Suddenly, a new sheriff came riding into town named Ahmed al-Sharaa. Well-groomed, dressed in a business suit, many people sighed with relief. Others, though, said, “Wait, isn’t that guy also known as Abu Mohammed al-Julani? You know, the fatigue-wearing butcher who used to be part of al-Qaeda?” But the western governments and their toady media outlets quickly hushed up the dissenters.
America's immigration system is not a suicide pact, and green card holders don't have a right to incite violence and celebrate murder. Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia student, openly hates America and has called for the eradication of Western civilization and "death to Israel."
Over the past few days, a literal genocide has taken place in Syria. You may not have heard about it in the mainstream media, but Islamic jihadists have slaughtered over 1,000 people—including hundreds of Christians.
It is a shame that the Oscars ceremony first became a political platform for propaganda, but also that that platform is now being used to spew unjustified anti-Jewish hatred. An Oscar for an openly antisemitic movie brings Jew hatred to a new low. What's next? Maybe a new Nobel prize category, "The Nobel Prize for Antisemitism"! I wouldn't put it past them.
The United States should support Israel’s rightful claim to sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, the historical land of the Jewish people. Failing to do so risks entrenching a flawed status quo that has already cost countless lives and sown perpetual instability.
The United States government has been suffering from the "aid virus," a scandalous taxpayer-dollar giveaway loaded with waste and abuse. While you may have been struggling to afford a house, pay rent, and buy gas and groceries, your tax dollars were being used to fund terrorism in Israel. Let that sink in.
Satan has been influencing rulers to try to separate God’s Chosen People from God’s city since King David established Jerusalem as the Jewish capital more than 3,000 years ago. One would think the vast amount of empirical evidence from both written and archaeological records connecting the two would quiet such opposition. Yet, even in our advanced and modern age, Jerusalem remains the subject of international dispute.
If Hamas still refuses to move forward and return the remaining hostages, Israel will cut the 19% of Gaza’s water that it supplies. If Hamas still refuses, Israel will cut electricity to Gaza’s desalination plants so that they cannot purify their own water. If Hamas still refuses, Israel will resume air attacks. If Hamas still refuses, Israel will resume a ground war. To this final end, Israel’s government approved a call-up of 400,000 reserves. That’s 100,000 more than were called up after October 7. In other words, Israel is not playing around.
Much like the days of ancient Israel, when the prophet Isaiah lamented that people would "call evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20), today’s moral compass appears hopelessly inverted. A glaring example of this inversion was on full display as celebrities arrived at the ceremony in their lavish attire, some proudly wearing red pins symbolising their supposed moral stance in support of "freeing Palestine."
Since the Romans destroyed the Second Temple in 70AD, it has been the heartfelt desire of the Jewish people to rebuild the Temple. This was a precedent set much earlier by Daniel while he was in exile. Daniel 9:17 reads: "Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate."
Woe unto the world that pushes Israel in this deadly direction! The world refuses to acknowledge the facts and instead is forcing Israel to make peace with people who wish them dead. Gaza should be all the necessary proof that peace through this avenue is not possible. Israel turned the entire strip over to them in 2005—lock, stock, and barrel. What came out of it was the largest terrorist network of tunnels in the entire world and an elected terrorist regime intent on destroying Israel.
The global stage has witnessed a surge of anti-Israel protests, ostensibly driven by a desire to halt what is perceived as the genocide of Palestinians. However, amidst the fervor of these demonstrations, a glaring irony remains unacknowledged—the entities responsible for these attacks (Hamas) openly declare their genocidal intent for Israel and the Jewish people.
Jewish leaders are accused of plotting to take over the government, banks, businesses, education, religion, and more. It has gotten to a point where nobody is interested in checking the validity of such claims. They would instead join in the finger-pointing and accusations. These are lies, and they all come from Satan, the master of lies...
If the terrorists aren’t careful, parts of the West Bank are going to begin looking like what’s left of Gaza. This is a threat that must be dealt with. Many believe that the mass terror event was supposed to be a diversion that would allow the enemy to pour out of the West Bank and into Israel in another October 7 attack. We cannot let that happen.
There are currently many nations who are looking on gleefully at the violence perpetrated against Israel. However, although they celebrate warring, they remain blind to God’s warning. You see, whilst those nations may drink from a cup of celebration, all of the nations will one day drink of the cup of wrath that God will hand them as judgement for their treatment of His chosen people.
Unlike any other time in the church age, we see a multitude of signs telling us that the Tribulation period is rapidly approaching. However, like pieces to a jigsaw puzzle scattered about on a tabletop, we don’t yet fully recognize how they will all fit together to complete the biblical picture of the end times for Israel.
Huckabee views Israel not through a political lens but a biblical one. His framework is anchored in God’s covenantal promise to Abraham: “To your descendants I have given this land” (Gen. 15:18). “This land” includes even the contested area the world calls the West Bank, a term Huckabee rejects in favor of the biblical names, Judea and Samaria.
"Today, the heavens shake," the Prime Minister stressed. "The entire civilized world should condemn these horrific murders. The entire civilized world should join Israel in demanding the immediate release of all the hostages. All of Israel is united in grief."
It's been 500 days since Hamas began this war. So many people have been lost due to the terrorists’ horrific and barbaric decisions. Oded Lifshitz, Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, and Kfir Bibas are four of those innocent lives now gone. The disgusting celebratory transference ceremony that their family and their nation had to witness just to receive back their remains shows you everything you need to know about who these people are. They are a culture of death.
The same media elites who want to control what you say are the ones trying to control what you see in Gaza. They won't show you Hamas stealing aid or beating civilians. They certainly won't show you Gazans desperate to leave. It doesn't fit the narrative of Israel as the oppressor—when it's actually Hamas.
The massacre of October 7th was the most significant atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. It was an unprovoked, calculated act of terrorism. The international community watched in horror, but the response, as history has shown, was tragically muted in some quarters. For Israel, the events of this day marked the beginning of a new chapter in its struggle for survival.
