“In Russia, the ‘witch hunt’ is continuing,” Russian attorney Anatoly Pchelintsev said. “I have a question for the deputies who seem so quick to pass prohibitive and punitive laws: What’s stopping them from providing clarity and certainty in legislation so that believers are not harassed?”
In a case with long-term ramifications for the United States, Maltese Christian Matthew Grech has been charged with violating the Mediterranean country’s so-called “conversion therapy” ban for simply sharing his personal testimony of Christian conversion from an LGBT lifestyle in a broadcast interview.
New analysis in the UK by independent public health consultant Kevin Duffy has shown that many women who access abortion in their twenties will remain childless at 45 – a risk they are not told about.
why has the TRA redacted all reference to Islam or Muslims? What do they think they are hiding? Do they really believe that the British public won’t draw the obvious conclusion? If they really think that then they really ought to do a better job regulating teaching in this country. One would have to be very badly educated not to see the blindingly obvious here.
“In a democracy, no one should fear criminal prosecution for expressing their faith,” said Coleman. “This case is about far more than one tweet—it is about whether quoting the Bible is permissible in modern Finland. The Supreme Court now has the opportunity to affirm the foundational freedoms that protect everyone, regardless of belief.”
Islam is not a peaceful religion, when judged according to its texts and by the example of Muhammad. It is deeply antisemitic. It is a very different religion to Christianity with a very different founder. We cannot ignore these differences and pretend that every act of violence or abuse perpetrated by a Muslim has nothing to do with the religion itself.
The sound of worship reverberated throughout ING Arena in Brussels on Saturday night as the name of Jesus Christ resounded through the rafters—and into two overflow areas set up for the Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham. In this multicultural city that serves as headquarters for both NATO and the EU, over 14,000 people lifted their voices to God in many languages: from Dutch to Spanish.
“So many young people in Europe are searching for purpose in life,” he shared with reporters. “They try sexual experiences and drugs and alcohol looking for God and they’re not finding God. I want young people to know that God made them, He’s real, He loves them, He cares for them, and He’s got a plan for how we can have a relationship with Him.”
We witnessed some antisemitic graffiti and acts of Jew-hate in Florence, Venice, and Verona, but nothing could have prepared me for the barrage of Jewish hatred we encountered in Rome—the heart of ancient civilization. In some areas, entire walls were coated with slogans, many not merely masking themselves as pro-Palestinian, but unashamedly proclaiming Jew-hatred.
Three Russian military jets violated NATO military alliance member Estonia’s airspace for 12 minutes on Friday in an “unprecedentedly brazen” incursion, its government said, prompting Italian F-35 stealth fighters to respond.
After being rushed through the House of Commons earlier this year, the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill continues to be scrutinised in the House of Lords. We have previously warned about the dangers of the bill which validate long-held concerns of overreach into the independence of schools and the private lives of Christian families.
Poland’s government said Wednesday it was forced to shoot down suspected Russian drones over its territory in what officials called the nation’s closest step toward armed conflict since World War II, raising alarm across Europe and beyond.
Britain, France, and Germany moved Thursday to reimpose sweeping international sanctions on Iran, a step that European governments hope will pressure Tehran back into nuclear negotiations with the Trump administration.
Hitler did not invent anti-Semitism in Europe. He was merely the tip of the iceberg. The vast bulk of the insidious structure lies beneath the surface, which is why today’s Europe is beginning to resemble 1939 all over again. Hitler tapped into the prevailing attitude in Germany at the time.
"So Israel is expected to surrender to Hamas and feed them even though Israeli hostages are being starved? Did UK surrender to Nazis and drop food to them? Ever heard of Dresden, PM Starmer? That wasn't food you dropped. If you had been PM then, the UK would be speaking German!"
In early February, Pastor David Vandeput stood before more than 500 Christian leaders from across Belgium. As they worshiped, preached, and prayed in three languages, Vandeput could hardly believe what he was seeing.
To me, this entire political cesspool smells of the Apostle Paul’s “perilous times” descriptions: “trucebreakers,” “false accusers,” “traitors,” and “high-minded.” That shouldn’t be surprising to those who seek truth in their study of Bible prophecy. As we discern prophetic stage-setting signals in every direction on the near horizon, so near the end of this Age of Grace, this great traitorous betrayal predicted by Paul is front and center.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), one of the largest evangelism ministries in the world, has established a legal defense fund to help cover the legal expenses of persecuted Christians in Europe. Referred to as a “war chest” by BGEA President Rev. Franklin Graham, this new legal defense acknowledges the distinct nature of gospel resistance in Western countries compared to elsewhere.
In a fallen world, there are horrible diseases, like mitochondrial defects, with tragic consequences. But the answer to fighting the effects of the curse in our bodies, and in the bodies of our children, isn’t to create and then end the life of another human being made in the image of God. Each of those babies, unhealthy mitochondria and all, was made in God’s image and deserved the right to life.
In her referral, Gabbard described the alleged actions as a “treasonous conspiracy,” asserting that high-ranking intelligence officials had politicized their roles to manufacture a narrative that would delegitimize Trump’s presidency. “After President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump,” a statement from the ODNI claimed.
“This case highlights the dangerous consequences of the vague and weaponised use of the term ‘Islamophobia’. In a free and democratic society, we must be able to discuss public events and express concern about violence and injustice without fear of losing our livelihoods. The definition of Islamophobia is being used to silence legitimate speech and punish those who dare to speak out. We stand firmly behind this teacher and his right to freedom of expression.”
President Trump has ordered two U.S. nuclear submarines to be positioned in strategic locations near Russia as a war of words erupts between the United States and the Kremlin.
President Macron of France is saying that his country will recognize a Palestinian state. Now, British Prime Minister Starmer says that if there isn’t peace by September, the UK will recognize a British state. Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to Starmer, saying, “Starmer rewards the monstrous terror of Hamas and punishes its victims.” I think the UK just needs to recognize that we stopped listening to anything they say 77 years ago with the end of the British Mandate.
“This wasn’t about me. It’s about the erosion of our hard-won freedoms and the right to speak truth in love. I’ve never been arrested in 25 years. I wasn’t there to cause trouble, I was there out of love, to share hope and to help people understand the love of Christ. When I heard the charges were dropped, I was relieved, but also angry. So much time, energy, and stress wasted for nothing. I go out because people are hurting. I won’t let fear silence the gospel."
France just gave radical Islamic terrorism a massive victory. After 40 years behind bars, France has released George Ibrahim Abdallah, a cold-blooded killer who murdered an American military attaché in Paris in 1982 and an Israeli diplomat that same year. Why did France do this? Fear—pure and simple.
A disturbing wave of antisemitic incidents has erupted across Europe in recent weeks, targeting Israeli tourists and Jewish communities with increasing frequency and violence. From Greece to Germany, Switzerland to Belgium, attacks, threats, and legal actions against Israelis are raising alarms among Jewish leaders and government officials alike.
A large group of residents in Germany, including hundreds of Christians, formed a human chain around a synagogue in Munich to protect the Jewish community from a mass antisemitic demonstration taking place outside during Shabbat prayers.
Have abortion buffer zones been weaponised to shut down democratic debate? And are pro-lifers facing a miscarriage of justice due to financial disparities during private prosecutions? A new report, commissioned by the Christian Legal Centre, argues this is the case in the UK.
A new analysis of abortion figures in the United Kingdom has revealed the devastating reality that 40.3% of pregnancies in the Labour-majority cities of Liverpool and Brighton and Hove end in abortion. We must not allow ourselves to become desensitised to the reality that each one of these digits is a human life lost.
Those of us who love life wrote to our MPs, signed petitions, and prayed, but it was hard to be hopeful when we knew the numbers were not on our side. We are seeing the consequences of a nation that has abandoned God as Creator (see Romans 1:18–32). These issues cannot be undone in a day.
“The council’s actions were not only unlawful but deeply unjust. We will continue to stand with Victoria and others like her to ensure that no one is silenced for holding Christian beliefs or speaking out to protect children.”
Franklin did not appeal to the authority of God’s Word or the application of a biblical worldview. Instead she mentioned her “own opinion” and “I do not believe.” Yes, it’s her opinion, not God’s Word or an application of Scripture, that informs her position on this life-and-death issue. We need to make sure we all have a biblical worldview that is founded in God’s Word and do not force our opinions on Scripture.
“Bartimaeus was blind. He didn’t have a job. All he could do was just sit on the side of the road and ask for gifts from people passing by. Bartimaeus was poor,” said Graham. “But regardless of your worldly possessions, we are all poor toward God. … We are poor because of sin, because we’ve all broken God’s rules. God loves you, and He will forgive you tonight,” he continued. “But you have to come through Jesus Christ because when He hung on that cross, He took your sin.”
“An unbearably large number of babies—more than ten million—have been killed in Britain since the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act,” Kelly said. “Now MPs have voted to ditch one of the few remaining safeguards protecting the unborn. They have done so with little or no regard for the welfare of expectant mothers. DIY abortions, at home, late in pregnancy, dramatically increase the likelihood of complications endangering women’s health.”
“I am relieved and grateful to the Supreme Court for this common-sense decision,” Higgs said in a CLC press release. “Christians have the right to express their beliefs on social media and at other non-work-related settings without fear of being punished by their employer. Expressing biblical truth is not discriminatory. It is an expression of love and of light.”
Burning a book is not an offence in Britain. Or is it? It depends which book. If you burn a copy of the Qur’an in public, then the police will arrest you, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) will charge you, and a judge will convict you. The police, the CPS, and the judiciary seem intent on enforcing Islamic blasphemy.
London, Paris, and Berlin are collapsing from the poison of radical Islam. With riots calling for "Intifada," "Free Palestine," and "From The River To The Sea," these European cities are spiraling out of control. Hungary, meanwhile, stands untouched. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, dubbed "the European Trump," has built something extraordinary: a nation adhering to godly values, refusing to bow to globalist bureaucrats.
“If we are going to reach Europe, we are going to need an army, an army of evangelists—unafraid, unashamed, unapologetic, uncompromising—standing on the Word of God,” he said with passion in his voice. All of us here—we are under orders from the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are not to surrender. We are not to give up.”
“The language and terms used by the Trust such as ‘gender identity’ and ‘non-binary’ are not recognised as protected characteristics under the Equality Act. Yet the Trust presents them as if they are not only protected but supersede both other legally protected beliefs and the authority of the Supreme Court."
Standing with terrorists who are trying to destroy Israel is not going to bring blessing to your country; it is, without question, going to bring curses. In Genesis 12:3, God says that He will bless those who bless the Jewish people and curse those who curse them. It is really that simple. God says that the land is not for sale, and He is going to judge the nations who stick their noses in with the intention of dividing up God's covenant land, as my country has endeavored to do.
Just as the Spanish monarchy once scapegoated the Jewish people to appease public sentiment and consolidate power, today's rhetoric risks repeating that injustice under the guise of moral posturing. Targeting Israel in a cultural arena mirrors the same exclusionary mindset that fueled centuries of Jewish persecution in Spain.
"As secularism has grown and deepened its hold in so many European countries—just as it has throughout the rest of the world—there is an urgent need for the Church to stand firm on the Word of God and be unashamed of the Gospel of Christ," Franklin Graham urged on social media. "Our prayer at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is that all who attend will be encouraged, challenged, and emboldened to share the hope and life-changing truth of the Gospel."
“We all stand firmly against harassment, which is already illegal–but the law goes far beyond that in preventing people from praying or holding consensual conversations in large public areas of Scotland … Less than a year after the bill passing, already, politicians are considering expanding the ‘buffer zone’ area, which would restrict free speech in an even larger public area.”
In addition to exposing the biased media coverage and making sure Christians understand the historical context and current challenges faced by Israel, there is also a huge need for Christian leaders to make sure they are addressing these issues from the pulpit. Now is the time to change that statistic so that a much higher percentage can say they have heard how important this issue is from the pulpit. Pastors need to focus on making sure they equip their congregations with a solid biblical theology of Israel.
Undoubtedly, outcry from the British public forced the Labor Government to introduce new border enforcement measures. A significant number of UK citizens may now feel satisfied that action is being taken. Even many conservatives in the UK and internationally have been quick to applaud the Prime Minister's perceived decisive stance against "open borders" and mass immigration. A deeper dive into the report, however, reveals it is not what it appears to be.
The upcoming visit by President Putin to Tehran is expected to further solidify the strategic partnership between Russia and Iran, with implications for regional security dynamics and international diplomatic relations.
"It is highly concerning that they made this attempt to criminalize the Christian faith in the first instance. I thought that someone at the council, who must very anti-Christian, has produced this or it must be pure incompetence. But then we found out that the council has been working on this for two years and instructed a barrister to help them!”
Xiao Liang, a researcher with the SIPRI Military Expenditure and Arms Production Programme, stated, “Over 100 countries around the world raised their military spending in 2024. As governments increasingly prioritize military security, often at the expense of other budget areas, the economic and social trade-offs could have significant effects on societies for years to come.”
While some anti-Christian groups continue to push back on Gospel opportunities, BGEA has seen even more churches get involved in the God Loves You Tour this year than in the past, said Lenning.
We all want to believe that MPs and other decision makers are highly civilised people who would never restrict healthcare funding in such a way that pushed people towards assisted suicide. This is naïve optimism. Once the door to this alternative treatment is opened, it is always there.
Truth protects us all. And that’s why this judgment is not enough. It is one thing for a person to deliberately present themselves as if they are a member of the opposite sex. It is another, much more serious, step for our institutions to endorse and promote that lie through official documents, the court system, hospitals and schools.
But there is no “climate crisis.” The science is far from the settled research the media would have you to believe—that’s why the predictions made by climate models are wrong over and over again! And historically, climate has always varied, warming or cooling based on a variety of factors that have nothing to do with our modern carbon emissions.
The 47-article agreement covers wide-ranging bilateral cooperation, with about one-third focused on military-technical ties and international security. As part of the agreement, both nations pledged not to offer military support to any third party engaged in active conflict with the other.
Christian nurse, Jennifer Melle, has been suspended by an NHS Trust after she spoke to the media about how she was investigated and disciplined for refusing to refer to a male child sex offender patient as a woman.
Next month, over 1,000 Christian leaders, pastors, and evangelists from more than 50 European countries and territories will gather in Berlin, Germany, for a week focused on evangelism.
Helping people to kill themselves deprives them of an incredible promise. There is nothing compassionate about the false promise of assisted suicide, because it takes people away from the only true source of healing and hope – and away from Jesus, the only one who can provide true, eternal relief from suffering.
The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom ruled unanimously on Wednesday that the terms man, woman, and sex in the U.K. Equality Act 2010 refer to biological sex. Observers have called it a landmark ruling, as it confirms that biological males who identify as female can be excluded from places such as women’s refuges, hospital wards, and sports.
The freedom to criticise other religions is essential for the work of evangelism. While there is strong protection in law, the freedom to criticise Islam in particular is being eroded. Police have a track record of arresting people they view as insulting Islam. In seeking to adopt an official government definition of Islamophobia, the government is privileging Islam over all other religions and worldviews and thus discriminating in favour of Islam.
“My aim always when preaching is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and that all of us can only be saved if we follow His teaching. It was intimidating to be attacked and surrounded by such an angry mob, but I was determined to stand my ground and not back down over my beliefs."
Public discourse in the UK has become increasingly polarized. The Palestinian Return Centre and Christian groups like Kairos Britain have called for the UK to apologize for the Balfour Declaration, arguing that it led to Palestinian displacement. Acts of protest, such as defacing portraits of Balfour and stealing a bust of Chaim Weizmann, underscore the growing hostility toward Zionist history.
The escalation began after Zelenskyy repeatedly interrupted the President, delivered back-handed remarks, and backed out of agreeing to a ceasefire in front of reporters. Vice President JD Vance admonished the Ukrainian President for showing clear disrespect to the United States and its leadership.
From that continent, Christianity, along with the freedoms that follow it, spread to much of the world. Now, rights such as the freedoms of religion and speech abruptly end with the application of one of several labels. And those labels are easily applied by the government so that government leaders can protect their power. The labels include “hate,” “radical,” and “extremist.”
“I pray that today will prove to be a landmark day for Christian freedoms and free speech. Christians have the right to express their beliefs on social media and at other non-work-related settings without fear of being punished by their employer. Expressing Biblical truth is not discriminatory.”
I would certainly not describe all Muslims as ‘sex groomers’, but this example appears to want to characterise any suggestion that Muslims have been responsible for grooming gang offences as ‘Islamophobic’. There is no doubt that fear of being called Islamophobic has motivated police and other authorities to avoid tackling these grooming gangs.
Millions of Jews across Europe were terrorised, hunted and murdered by not only the Nazis, but those who collaborated with them. Hatred of the Jews did not end there and it is an inescapable fact that the same antisemitism which drove hatred of the Jews in the 1930s is once again infecting the hearts of many people today.
The Prime Minister of the very country representing the 6 million Jewish victims of the Holocaust in general and the ones who died in Auschwitz, in particular, will be absent from the ceremony... but not by choice.
