The historic partnership between the United States and Israel during Operation Epic Fury has been a sight to see. Analysts are describing the blitz against the Iranian regime as “one of the most coordinated Allied operations in modern warfare.” The deep friendship Israel holds with the Trump administration has been a game-changer in the Middle East, one that stands in sharp contrast to others that came before.

The President not only encouraged prayer for God's help and protection, he also pinpointed a spiritual reason why such a large-scale military operation was absolutely necessary. "We sought repeatedly to make a deal," Trump stressed, adding that diplomatic efforts proved fruitless because the Iranian regime "just wanted to practice evil." There are some ideologies so deluded and entangled with "practicing evil" that their actions can no longer be swayed by reason. The regime in Tehran was a perfect example of this irrational—and demonic—mindset.

When US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee sat down with Tucker Carlson, whom he has known for 30 years, he expected a lively interview; what he got was a venomous inquisition. To state the obvious, Carlson wasn't interested in Huckabee's answers or uncovering the truth. His stunt against Israeli airport authorities proves his lies are calculated, not done out of ignorance. Carlson came to Israel with one agenda: to deceive.

One particular statement was truly profound, and its tremendous accuracy stems from being bred out of a Biblical worldview. Discussing the collapse of communism in Germany, Rubio warned that the celebration of this success in the West quickly morphed into an ill-conceived fantasy about the future of nations. This globalist mentality, he stressed, “was a foolish idea that ignored both human nature and it ignored the lessons of over 5,000 years of recorded human history. And it has cost us dearly.”

As ambassadors for Christ, many self-proclaimed Christians have delivered the Jewish people a false version of Jesus, stripping Him of His Jewishness and representing Him as someone who despises and rejects them. Consequently, the name of Jesus has become an offence to many Jewish ears. Here also lies the immeasurable benefit of rightly interpreting God's Word: a proper representation of Jesus' profound love for the Jewish people draws individual Jews toward the Gospel.

All Islamic nations have a duty to “erase” the Jewish State of Israel, and given the opportunity, they will all do so, the grandson of the Islamic Republic’s founder insisted on Wednesday. "The Israelis know full well that if the day comes when any Islamic nation is capable of firing missiles at Israel, and striking Israel, and if they are capable of erasing Israel – they will do to Israel what Hamas did to it."

Through the lens of Scripture, we understand two critical insights that are unique to those with a Biblical worldview: Where we should stand on an issue and what God's prophetic Word states will happen in the future. Through these insights, let's examine the chaotic developments in Iran.
