The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has again become the subject of criticism after declaring monkeypox to be a “public health emergency of international concern” against the recommendation of the WHO’s special advisory committee.

Ghebreyesus initially had claimed that Saturday’s announcement followed an inability of the committee to reach a consensus in their meeting, prompting him to make the final decision on a tied vote. After the alert was issued, the WHO Director-General admitted that a majority, nine out of fifteen, experts in the committee did not believe that the monkeypox outbreak warranted an international health emergency, which is the highest alarm the WHO can sound.

Despite his decision to make the declaration, Tedros openly stated that “the risk of monkeypox is moderate globally and in all regions” with the exception of certain areas in Europe. Furthermore, the segment of the population primarily at risk is “men who have sex with men, especially those with multiple sexual partners.”

The White House Considers Emergency Declaration

The White House is also considering declaring monkeypox to be a public health emergency, the White House Covid response coordinator, Dr. Ashish Jha, said on Friday.

After the alert was issued by the WHO, the White House and Health Officials in the United States were reportedly deliberating over the weekend on their next steps regarding monkeypox.

Congressional Democrats and White House Officials estimated to Congress that 7 billion dollars is needed in funding to combat the virus, a figure they insisted in a memo reflects “the scope and urgency of the current situation.”

The progressive left, and globalist world leaders, appear to be faced with two challenges. The first problem is that they currently lack medical evidence that monkeypox is a virus that poses a significant danger to the population as a whole, making an “emergency” declaration, at the very least, an exaggeration (if not a blatantly corrupt and agenda driven measure.)

The second problem deals with public perception. Former neurosurgeon and White House advisor, Dr. Ben Carson, explained on Sunday in an interview with Maria Bartiromo, that he believes “it’s going to be very hard to convince people that [monkeypox] is something that’s very serious” following the government’s response to the coronavirus.

Is Monkey Pox As Agenda Driven As COVID?

Many, including prominent Christian voices, have questioned whether monkeypox will become a COVID 2.0. Is monkeypox going to be the next agenda-driven crisis used to stoke fear and gain control?

In March of 2021, the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) partnered with the Munich Security Conference, to simulate a fictional “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of monkeypox” occurring in mid-May 2022. 

According to the NTI, “participants included 19 senior leaders and experts from across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe.”

The Brownstone institute, discussing this simulated crisis, wrote:

The global Monkeypox outbreak—occurring on the exact timeline predicted by a biosecurity simulation of a global Monkeypox outbreak a year prior—bears a striking resemblance to the outbreak of COVID-19 just months after Event 201, a simulation of a coronavirus pandemic almost exactly like COVID-19.

Event 201 was hosted in October 2019—just two months before the coronavirus was first revealed in Wuhan—by the Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum, Bloomberg, and Johns Hopkins. As with the Event 201, the participants at the Monkeypox simulation have thus far been stone silent as to their having participated in a pandemic simulation the facts of which happened to come true in real life just months later.

As Jan Markell, Founder and President of Olive Tree Ministries, explained, the globalists prior to the COVID pandemic strategized the need for a “fear-induced crisis.”

The coronavirus crisis successfully “changed the lifestyle of people in almost 200 nations,” Markell explained, underscoring that the “result of this engineered crisis [was] lawless mandates and rising tyranny.”

“The globalists convinced the world [that] it is worth giving up many freedoms in the name of health safety,” she wrote. “During the Tribulation, the ‘left behind’ world will have to give up everything. Tremendous conditioning has gone on since March of 2020.”

“Our own FBI encouraged people to turn in loved ones who might have been violating health safety. Such betrayal is ‘Tribulationesque’ in itself,” Markell warned. “The level to which the world has cooperated has been staggering.”

Although “some would say that is only medical tyranny” Markell underscored that COVID opened “the door for total tyranny.”

“If one didn’t have a Biblical perspective and an end-time hope, their actions would be terrifying,” she stressed. “It is as though they intend for as much destruction as humanly possible. God has washed His hands of many of these Godless leaders and they are recklessly careening into the very last days.”
