The Nazi government officially ended in May 1945 with the defeat of Germany, and yet, the Nazi Party was only formally outlawed five months later in October 1945. Why it took five months to officially outlaw the Nazi Party is beyond me, but that, coupled with the Nuremberg trials, gave me hope that Nazism–outside of a fringe group of deranged individuals–was defunct. Was I wrong?
There are minority groups such as the US-based Goyim Defense League, spewing antisemitic tropes and blood libels across the country. They are despicable, but they take advantage of our freedom of speech to share their hatred of the Jewish people. Their logo has the same colors as the Nazi flag; they salute like Nazis did and promote white supremacist ideology targeting anybody and anything Jewish. Thank God, they are on the fringe and are not really influential in any way—except maybe with the occasional TikTok-influenced illiterate youth.
The real danger is in the Red(Socialist)/Green(Islamist) Axis against Israel, so I thought! While there is an imminent danger to Jews promoted by that axis of evil, there might be a return of Nazi ideology that could add a lot more fuel to the fire of Jew-hatred. We are truly being attacked from all angles, but Nazism had not seriously been on my radar for a while. This might change soon!
Germany recently had a local election where the Christian Democratic Union (not necessarily meaning Evangelical) was defeated by the Alternative for Germany party (AfD). This happened in the former East German state of Saxony-Anhalt. They didn’t just get a few votes; they got 43.8% of the votes, as opposed to the 23% they had garnered in 2021. This brings them within three seats of a majority in the State legislature. The CDU went down from 37.1% to 17.2%.
Why is this a concern? Because in the end, they are fighting an extreme with another extreme, and the victims remain the same. You have guessed it, it will not be good for Jews. It is the same in France with Marine Le Pen’s party, Rassemblement National (RN). Depending on the elections, they garnered from 17.3% to 37.1% of the votes, and this shouldn’t be ignored.
Europe is undergoing a civilizational transformation. The United Kingdom has reached the point of no return in its politically correct suicide by Islamization; France is not too far behind; Belgium follows, to name just a few. The stealth Jihad of Radical Islam has been very consistent and patient, and it now looks like it is paying off. Western Europeans are starting to wake up to the reality that Sunday Church bells might soon be overtaken by the daily calls to prayer from the myriads of minarets mushrooming across the continent—many of them built where churches once stood. Now what?
If these countries have a chance at surviving the geopolitical and ideological tectonic plate shift, they must act now. So, natives are getting more and more attracted to the alt-Right parties fighting openly against illegal immigration and the ideological reprogramming that Islam has been so focused on. Countries like France and Germany, voting for Rassemblement National or Alternative for Germany, are doing it out of desperation. It is some kind of civilizational “Hail Mary” to save Europe from the Muslim invasion and Shariah Law infecting the cradle of the Enlightenment.
The problem is that while these parties have programs that would definitely protect their respective countries against an Islamic invasion and open borders, they also adhere to some views that any person of good will would deem xenophobic or antisemitic. Marine Le Pen is the daughter of the man (Jean-Marie Le Pen) who once called the Holocaust “a hiccup of history.” No matter what she says, she carries a lot of baggage, and no matter what she says about Jews, we will not be safe under her leadership, because the party is more antisemitic than she is, and she will not be leading it forever. Yet, many French Jews will have no issues voting for her to protect France from the Muslim invasion, willfully ignoring that they are also in the party’s crosshairs.
How much of that is also true for Germany remains to be seen, but I think that the UK, France and Germany could clearly be considered the canaries in the European coal mine of Western civilization.
The extreme Left has partnered with the Islamists as the poster boy for that axis–Zohran Mamdani–is proving. The Evangelical Church is exponentially distancing itself from being pro-Israel; Hollywood supports the Palestinian false narrative, and the masses are showing how much they loathe Diaspora Jews and Israelis with a boldness in physical harm that is becoming trendy.
In His immense wealth of wisdom, God allowed for the Holocaust to take place and, after heavy casualties, put a stop to it. Within years, Eretz Yisrael was born as a modern nation. Antisemitism is boiling over as Ezekiel 36 and Zechariah 12:3 are being fulfilled. Even though many of my people are still in denial, Jews are starting to seriously consider Aliyah. I never thought I would witness the return of global Jews to Israel in my lifetime; maybe I was wrong!
