A Fundamentally Christian Nation: The Recognition Of Almighty God Is In All 50 State Constitutions

Every state constitution refers to God, as understood by the writers, as a Creator Christian God, not the impersonal god of Hinduism or the deified Buddhist god. Furthermore, the Judeo-Christian Creator God, from whom comes our freedoms and rights, is written into all 50 state constitutions, directly or indirectly.

The common expression “grateful to Almighty God for our freedom” refers to the belief that the source of our rights is not from government, but rather from God. A good example is the Maine Constitution which calls God the “Sovereign Ruler of the Universe.” The Delaware Constitution says, “Divine Goodness all men have by nature the rights of worshiping and serving their Creator.” The Virginia Bill of Rights refers to the duty that “we owe our Creator.” The Washington State Constitution Preamble says, “We the People . . . [are] grateful to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe.” Teachers denied the right to critique Darwinism could simply teach their state’s constitution. It could not be unconstitutional to teach the state’s constitution!

All 50 state constitutions acknowledge God, mostly as the Creator, Sustainer, and Bestower of liberty. The ACLU and the federal courts are wrong to deprive students of this knowledge. Below are the relevant sections from all 50 states. All emphasis is added.

While the founding fathers went to some lengths to ensure the US would never have its own version of the Church of England, they clearly conceived of their new country as fundamentally Christian as opposed to any other religion, as did those who drafted the 50 state constitutions. Removing the discussion of the Christian history of each state from the public classroom is a gross misrepresentation of the actual facts behind what motivated each state to draft its own constitutions, and in reality, this does more to “promote” a religion—the religion of humanism.

God’s Timeline Directing Global Politics: The US-Iran MoU And The Perplexing Shift Of American Foreign Policy

That being said, this whole MoU that’s been agreed upon between the US and Iran is a complete balagan! How does a nearly defeated enemy end up in a better position than when it first went to war? It’s absurd. It’s like the Allies making it to Berlin in 1945 but stopping before a final victory, then signing an agreement that leaves the Nazi party in power. Make it make sense! I have been greatly frustrated as I’ve watched what appears to be the capitulation of the United States to Iran. But in the grand scheme, what I feel doesn’t really matter. We don’t have to like everything that we see, because we know that in many cases it has to happen.

Major Supreme Court Rulings Offer A Mixed Bag For Common-Sense Conservatives

The Court struck a major blow against transgender madness. Unfortunately, the Court went against the will of a majority of the American people in two other cases, ruling that mail-in ballots can be counted after Election Day, and shooting down President Trump’s executive order outlawing birthright citizenship. Long term, this is a potential national security risk.

Thomas Jefferson’s ‘Separation Of Church And State’ Never Meant Keeping God Out Of Government

In context, it’s clear this wall of separation was not created to keep religion out of the State. It was simply intended to protect religious freedom and to place boundaries on the State’s control over the Church. In fact, the United States Capitol served as a church building for seven decades and Jefferson himself was a regular attendee. He attended so faithfully that he earned a reserved seat. On the Sunday after he wrote the letter to the Danbury Baptists, he attended church services at the still-under-construction Capitol.
