David Friedman: We pray to God that we will prevail overwhelmingly &… defeat the threats of our time

During the Kohelet Policy Forum’s conference on Wednesday, David Friedman, US Ambassador to Israel, commented on the escalation in the Middle East, and the United States’ response.

“We’re all watching closely the events taking place in the region,” he said. “We pray to God that we will prevail overwhelmingly and without loss of innocent life. I am confident that with the president’s leadership, we will defeat the great threats of our time and bring about a more just and more peaceful world.”

The president held off on military retaliation after Iran attacked the U.S. forces through a series of missiles. Friedman adding, it was their prayer that initial assessments indicating no Americans had been hurt in the incited were true.

The President during his address confirmed that no U.S. forces were harmed in the incident: “I’m pleased to inform you, the American people should be extremely grateful and happy. No Americans were harmed in last night’s attack by the Iranian regime. We suffered no casualties. All of our soldiers are safe, and only minimal damage was sustained at our military bases.”

The Pentagon has stated it is likely that Iran’s intent was to kill Americans.

“I believe based on what I saw and what I know is that they were intended to cause structural damage, destroy vehicles and equipment and aircraft and to kill personnel,” Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, explained Wednesday.

‘Hour Of Decision’: Examining The Remarkable History Of The ‘National Day Of Prayer’

The rally was a historic event. Mr. Graham’s message marked the first time an evangelistic service had been conducted from the steps of the nation’s Capitol. But America’s Pastor was far more concerned with the significance. It was time to pray. It was time to get real with God.

Amir Tsarfati: A Silence That Will Have To Be Answered For

It is unfathomable to me that so many pastors and political figures remain mute on the subject. It is a silence that I believe they will have to answer for. God is looking for church pulpits and political rostrums from which His chosen people are prayed for and antisemitism is harshly condemned.

In the Scriptures, we know that the church is the bride of Christ.  But during this time when we are awaiting the upward call of our Bridegroom, how are we living?
