It has happened again. A person, identifying as transgender, just went on a deadly shooting rampage.
The scene of the latest trans massacre was in Canada. On Tuesday, an 18-year-old man who was trying to transition into a woman—even though that is not biologically possible—slaughtered nine people and wounded some 25 more when he opened fire at a secondary school and a home in British Columbia. He then killed himself.
Canadian police, always mindful of being extra woke and inclusive, are referring to the shooter as a “gun-person” instead of a “gunman.” In other words, they are legitimizing what is a severe mental disorder—one that is becoming more deadly.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen trans gunmen who thought they were the opposite sex carry out massacres at a church in Minneapolis and a Christian school in Nashville, among other incidents. Remember also that Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was a pro-transgender activist who was dating a trans man.
The fact that these very confused and disturbed people are engaging in violence is really not surprising. Yet, for years, the left has pushed gender transition surgeries for children, even pre-teens. Thousands of innocent kids have been mutilated and had their lives destroyed thanks to the insane actions and decisions of adults who wanted to supposedly “affirm them.”
It’s one of the great evils of our time.
Kentucky’s Democrat Governor Andy Beshear, earlier this week, disturbingly used the Bible to defend gender surgeries for minors: “We rarely talk about the why. People want to know what drives us, especially in a world with social media, where everyone is looking for the next authentic thing. For me, that’s my faith. Most of the decisions I make are based on that golden rule that says we love our neighbor as ourself, and that parable, The Good Samaritan, that says everyone is our neighbor. And so when I’ve taken actions like vetoing the nastiest piece of anti-LGBTQ legislation that ever came through my state—I described it in those terms—I said, my faith teaches me that all children are children of God, and I didn’t want people picking on those kids.”
Despicable. And remember, Governor Beshear is seen as one of the Democrat party’s “rising stars” and even a potential contender for the 2028 presidential nomination.
Here’s the good news: justice is coming.
A court in New York just awarded a $2 million judgment to a woman who said a psychologist and a surgeon pushed her into gender transition surgery when she was still a minor. I believe we’ll see many more cases like this in the days to come, with victims of this evil getting the justice they deserve.
The gender madness that has gripped the West in recent years is just one of many challenges to Judeo-Christian civilization.
