As The US And Israel Continue To Deliver Crushing Blows, Iran’s Mullahs Remain Locked In Full Denial

The Iranian regime spent the weekend reminding everyone why Operation Epic Fury was necessary. Intentionally targeting civilians, attacking holy sites in Jerusalem, firing long-range missiles at a US base, and taking aim at Israel’s Dimona nuclear reactor, Iran’s regime once again showed its true evil face.

Could you imagine this radical Islamic death cult with nuclear weapons? That is why President Trump felt he had to take action. The US military, along with Israel, has spent the past three plus weeks obliterating the imminentโ€”yes, imminentโ€”Iran threat, and now we could be on the verge of a cease-fire.

On Saturday, President Trump promised to bomb Iran’s power plants if the regime did not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. Then this morning, the President posted: “I am pleased to report that the United States of America and the country of Iran have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East.”

“Based on the tenor and tone of these in-depth, detailed, and constructive conversations,” he wrote, “which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.”

President Trump told reporters on Monday, “Tomorrow morning sometime, their time, we were expected to blow up their largest electric generating plants that cost over $10 billion to build. It’s a very good one. There was no dearth of money. One shot, it’s gone. It collapses. Why would they want that? So they called, I didn’t call. They called. They want to make a deal, and we are very willing to make a deal. It’s got to be a good deal, and it’s got to be no more wars, no more nuclear weapons. They’re not going to have nuclear weapons anymore. They’re agreeing to that; any of that stuff is no deal.”

Now, Iran’s regime denies that any such talks have taken place, but they’re not exactly a trustworthy bunch.

The President told CNBC today that he feels we essentially have regime change already in Iran, with most of the country’s top leaders eliminated over the past 24 days, and its military capabilities severely crippled by the massive US and Israeli onslaught.

If the regime, as we know it, is on its last legs, it attempted this weekend to go out with a bang. On Friday, missile fragments from an Iranian launch landed near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. That same day, Iran fired two ballistic missiles that traveled some 2,500 miles, targeting the joint US-UK Diego Garcia military base in the Indian Ocean. Iran had previously denied having missiles with that kind of range. Now we know that they do have them, which means they can hit practically all of Europe. Again, imminent threat.

The US and Israel are taking down the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism. This regime is a demonic death cult. These are modern-day Nazis.

Don’t misunderstand what they are all about. This is a regime that has attacked across the Middle East and killed thousands upon thousands. They have killed many Americans, in particular US soldiers in Iraq. They have plotted to assassinate President Trump. And let’s not forget, they were developing nuclear weapons that no doubt they would have loved to use against Israel and the nation they refer to as the “great satan,” the United States.

This operation between Israel and the United States is long overdue. It reminds me of Psalm 6:10: “All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.” I can’t think of a better description of what is happening to Iran’s regime.

The Clash Of Worldviews: Secular Progressivism Vs Biblical Christianity

To understand the age in which we live, it is important to understand the ideas behind secular progressivism and, more importantly, what its aspirations are. After all, whether the majority of people realise it or not, secular progressivism has the stated goal of organising social life (with or without your consent) toward explicitly chosen goals. Those goals, however, put it in direct conflict with Biblical truth. The major flaw in secular progressivism is its belief that preference trumps truth. Because the maxim of this ideology is that โ€œall preferences are created equal,โ€ any belief which competes with somebodyโ€™s โ€œpreferenceโ€ is treated in one of two ways. Either it must be suppressed (usually with the backing of government or media institutions), or it must be branded as a private hobby which is acceptable in the home or inner thought life but not welcome in the public square where others may be influenced by it.

How Allegory Reduces The Bible To Nothing More Than A Work Of Fiction

It is God alone who predicts the future. Prophecy is one of Godโ€™s signatures that tells us that we can trust in Him and His Word. It is what separates the Bible from all other religious writings in the world. But if we consistently use allegorical hermeneutics, as Charles Ryrie points out, then in effect what we have just done is reduce the Bible to nothing more than a work of fiction. How tragic! With hermeneutics like that, it is no wonder so many people want nothing to do with Bible prophecy. It is no wonder pastors refuse to preach and teach events concerning the future, and it is no wonder it can be so hard to understand.

Jan Markell: You Canโ€™t Have A Genuine Revival With False Doctrine Raging

I hear a dozen evangelists stating that we are on the verge of a great revival. One self-proclaimed prophet says that a billion souls will come to faith in the coming weeks and months. If my Rapture is imminent, how can there be an imminent revival? Which is it? The Bible does talk about a coming revival. The question concerns its timing. Is it in the coming days, or is it after the Rapture when the โ€œleft behindโ€ world realizes they should have listened to believers like you and me, get a second chance, and multitudes come to faith?
