According to a consultant with the Ottawa police, the Freedom convoy, which took place in early 2022, was a deceptive “movement by right-wing Christians,” in an effort to manipulate Canadians into being converted to Christ.
In an email to officers, consultant Erin Kelly, the CEO of Advanced Symbolics Inc, insisted that the “real agenda” behind the protests had nothing to do with vaccine mandates.
“Given that today is the Lord’s Day, we are starting to see some of the real agenda here,” Kelly wrote to police.
The consultant claimed that the “religious images” being posted on Social Media were “more evidence this isn’t about vaccine mandates.”
“It’s a movement by right-wing Christians who used mandates as a pretense to gain a following and privileged access as ‘protesters,’” she insisted.
“If they’d said ‘join us for a Christian rally in Ottawa’ no one would have come,” Kelly asserted.
LifeSite News reported that in response to Kelly’s “important insights” then-Ottawa police chief Peter Sloly “ordered the information from the Christian groups to be sent to all police managers.”
According to Blacklocks, “documents did not disclose how much police paid for surveillance of Christian imagery at the protests”
The Canadian Freedom convoy was highly successful, resulting not only in worldwide support but the dropping of overreaching vaccine mandates in multiple Canadian Provinces.
Additionally, the Liberal government’s crackdown on the protests sparked outrage, including from members of the European Union, who called the methods used to disperse freedom convoy supporters and the freezing of bank accounts a ‘disgrace to any democracy.’
Religious Freedom has been further degraded by the Liberal Trudeau government in Canada. In the same month the freedom convoy began, the demonization of God’s standard of morality was used to enact an “anti-conversion therapy” law criminalizing the teaching of biblical sexuality.
This increasing hostility to Believers and Biblical truth, according to the apostle Paul, is a harbinger of the soon return of Christ. In his letter to Timothy, Paul warns that “in the last days perilous times shall come” in which “men of corrupt minds” will be “reprobate concerning the faith” (2 Tim. 3:8, also see 2 Tim. 3:12-13).
“If there was any question about Justin Trudeau’s totalitarian regime and discrimination against Christians, look no further than the case of Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who [spent weeks] behind bars – without a trial,” noted Stand up for the Truth host David Fiorazo earlier this year. “He was recently denied bail. Having been arrested five times and jailed three times since COVID was unleashed on the world, you might think he was a violent criminal. Nope. But as one reporter concluded: Canadian officials can’t tell the difference between a criminal and a Christian.”
“[Canada’s] leadership and power elites have abandoned God, reason, truth, and freedom,” Fiorazo stressed.
