As Khamenei’s Reign Of Terror Ends, The Iranian People Seeking Freedom See Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who ruled the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1989 after serving as president in the 1980s, was killed at the age of 86 in a joint US-Israeli military strike on Tehran. It’s a pivotal moment in modern history, bringing an end to the Islamic regime’s brutal dictator.

In a post on X, exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi celebrated Khamenei’s death, “Ali Khamenei, the bloodthirsty despot of our time, the murderer of tens of thousands of Iranโ€™s bravest sons and daughters, has been erased from the face of history. With his death, the Islamic Republic has in effect reached its end and will very soon be consigned to the dustbin of history.”

“Honorable and courageous people of Iran, this may be the beginning of our great national celebration, but it is not the end of the road,” he further wrote. “Remain vigilant and prepared. The time for a widespread and decisive presence in the streets is very near.”

Pahlavi concluded, “Together, united and steadfast, we will bring about the final victory, and we will celebrate Iranโ€™s freedom across our beloved homeland.”

Here’s my take.

Khamenei spent the better part of his life terrorizing the Middle East and the world with his desire to spread the Islamic Republic’s hateful ideology. He influenced the rise of Hamas and Hezbollah, terrorist organizations bent on the destruction of the Jewish State and God’s chosen people. He announced “death to America” and “death to Israel,” but his reign of terror ends with hope for the Iranian people. Hope that their freedom is near on the horizon.

‘Kingdom Now’: A Popular Phrase Built On Crumbling Early Kingdoms And A Severe Misunderstanding Of Scripture

Not even the churchโ€”beloved as it is by God and as much as it strives to serve Himโ€”is a fulfillment of Godโ€™s promise to establish His physical Kingdom here on Earth. Weโ€™re playing on Satanโ€™s turf. Right now, the world is his domain (1 John 5:19). As Jesus said, we are in this world, but not of it (John 17:14โ€“19). This is not our home. Scripture makes clear reference to the physical nature of Godโ€™s coming Kingdom. It will begin when Jesus comes again and stands on the Mount of Olives, the very spot from which He ascended to heaven after His resurrection. In that day, the Lord will be recognized as the rightful King over all the earth, over all His creation which He purposed to be part of His Kingdom since time began (Zechariah 14:9; Obadiah v. 21).

Anti-Zionism: How Antisemites, Like Mamdani, Cloak Their Jew Hatred

It seems that each day brings a new attack on the Jewish people โ€“ whether on the streets of New York or aboard the FlyDubai flight to Tel Aviv that nearly ended in catastrophe just a few days ago. The tide of antisemitism unleashed around the globe following the October 7 massacre wasnโ€™t just confined to Hamas sympathizers in the region โ€“ it galvanized antisemites around the world to express their hatred for Jews under the flimsy guise of โ€œanti-Zionism.โ€

United Nations Against Israel: The Backwards Antisemitic Thinking Of The World Is Stunningโ€”But Not Unanticipated

On Thursday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu walked to the podium at the United Nations General Assembly, the majority of those seated rose to their feet, not to applaud but to stage a mass walkout. The same had occurred in 2024โ€”though it was discovered that assistants and lower-ranking individuals were deliberately brought into the room to make the exit appear more dramatic for the international cameras. Netanyahu was ready for a repeat of the display, beginning his speech on Thursday with the following statement: โ€œMr. President, before I begin, just a quick announcement: If there are any other moral cowards who havenโ€™t yet left this hallโ€”please do so now. Thank you very much.โ€
