Ohio State University ‘Sex Week’ Event Encourages Students To ‘Thank’ Abortion Providers

Several Ohio State University departments are sponsoring “Sex Week” put on by a student organization, which includes one event where students are asked to “help thank abortion providers.”

Student Advocates for Sexual Health Awareness is hosting the “Sex Week,” but the organization told Fox News Digital that several Ohio State University departments such as the Ohio State University Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and the College of Social Work are providing financial support for the week-long event. A spokesperson for Ohio State University said that no taxpayer or tuition dollars are going towards the event.

One event hosted during “Sex Week” is “Valentine’s for Abortion Providers” where students can “help thank abortion providers” for the work that they do.

“Meet SASHA in the Union on the 1st floor on to help thank abortion providers in Ohio and Texas for the valuable work they do for reproductive rights!,” the event description states.

Sky Hart, president of Student Advocates for Sexual Health Awareness told Fox News Digital that the organization is hosting the abortion appreciation event because it thinks abortion providers “deserve appreciation.”

“We feel that it is important to appreciate the family planning providers that are able to provide essential healthcare for our communities. Our organization emphasizes the constitutional right to a safe abortion, however many do not share that belief. Because of this, many providers and their offices are often ridiculed for providing legal, affordable, safe healthcare. We feel they deserve appreciation, and should be reminded of the fact they are assisting our communities greatly,” Hart said.

Hart said that attendees will be creating cards that will then be mailed to abortion providers.

The “Sex Week” website also states that the organization receives funding through the Council on Student Affairs, which comes from student activity fees.

Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life, told Fox News Digital that the university is doing a “disservice to students” by sponsoring the event.

“It’s pathetic that schools are ignoring their mandate to educate students and instead act as though their real purpose is facilitating the parties. This is a great disservice to students. And a huge waste of money for parents,” Hawkins said.

“Almost always ignored by these sponsors is the fact that you can’t protect emotionally vulnerable students from a broken heart when they follow the false pitch that all consequences — babies included — can be ignored.”

Ken Ham, Founder and CEO of Answers In Genesis, responded to Ohio State’s “Sex Week.”

“So what they’re really saying is: ‘As we sacrifice our children let’s thank those who do the killing (murder) for us, & thank them for not killing us in their abortion death camps so we could thank them for allow us to do that to our children,’” he wrote in a Twitter thread. “So what does God say to such people: ‘…envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.’ (Galatians 5:21)”

According to the event’s schedule, the “Sex Week” commences with a “debunking” of “abstinence only Sex Ed.” Encouraging a child or young adult to save themselves for marriage, as the Bible instructs (1 Thess. 4:3-8Heb. 13:4Gen. 2:24), has “detrimental effects on youth,” the group claimed.

The second event, which takes place on the same day, is titled “gentle masculinity” and is taught by “Pink Manatray” a biological female who “transitioned” to male… How is a biological female “identifying” as man, able to teach biological males how to be men? An additional problem arises from instructing men to be effeminate, which the Bible plainly warns against (1 Corin. 6:9-11).

Other events during “Sex Week” includes one surrounding transgender sex toys, “Gender Affirming Surgery,” “ABC’s of LGBTQ+: A Queer story,” masturbation panel, “Great Minds Kink Alike,” “spiritual… tantric yoga,” “Let’s Talk About Drag,” and more perversions.

Participants were also encouraged to give donations to Texas abortion facilities, after the State introduced a pro-life law, which is estimated to have saved over 10,000 unborn children.

In 2 Timothy 3, the apostle Paul provides a list of characteristics which would be previlent in the time preceding Christ’s return. Amoung other things, Paul explained that in the last days people would be “lovers of pleasure more then lovers of God,” without “self control” and have a “loss of natural affection” (2 Tim. 3:1-4).

Antisemitic Delusion: Even Amid Venezuelan Chaos, Israel Is Blamed As The Villan Pulling The Strings

Not everyone shared in this victory. Some were very critical of Trump, and others were deluded enough in their minds to blame Israel. Yes, that's right, they blamed Israel, and once again, Candace Owens was leading the charge. "Within minutes, Candace Owens reframed Venezuela's liberation into an Israel-centric conspiracy, declaring that 'Zionists cheer every regime change because they steal land, oil, and other resources.'"

Those speaking out against these atrocities are concerned over the lack of coverage by prominent news sources and attention from political leaders around the world. Some have attributed the removal of nations, such as Nigeria, from the Countries of Particular Concern (CPC) and lifting of U.S. sanctions on Syria as global measures that would have otherwise kept pressure on entities that severely violate international religious freedom.

Bold Ambassadors For Christ Who Were Powerfully Used By God In 2025

In the case of some, it was God's sovereignty that permitted tragic events to unfold, knowing the impact of the Gospel would be worth the cost. In other instances, God raised individuals into higher positions of responsibility, knowing that their prioritizing of Jesus above all else would provide opportunities to proclaim Biblical truth in powerful ways. Here is a list of Christians who were used by God in 2025 to make a tremendous impact.
