Liberals will try anything to make you believe that it is a 21st Century version of the old Nazi Concentration camps with all the stigmas attached to that era! It is interesting that they would seek to capitalize on a very dark period of history from the mid-30s to the mid-40s, to garner a completely unjustified public’s outrage, but they would ignore the fact that we seem to be back in a 1930s/40s antisemitic atmosphere as it pertains to the safety of the Jewish people. Is this whole nonsense another toxic attempt at a completely unachievable moral equivalence?
These people fail to understand the many differences between Nazi concentration camps and Alligator Alcatraz. Here are just a few things that you will not find at Alligator Alcatraz:
• Forced labor
• Starvation
• Electrified fences
• Beatings
• Tattooed identification number
• No bathrooms
• Firing squads
• No doctors
And that is only a few of the elements you would find in Nazi concentration camps. These camps were designed to corral Jews in large numbers and create a war forced labor contingency. The work conditions and lack of food and hygiene were such that they quickly became death camps, and that is even before the full implementation of the “Final Solution to the Jewish Question” in 1942 with the running of places like Auschwitz-Birkenau. When the death camps were implemented, you could add these to the list:
• Gas chambers
• Crematoria
• Random shootings of inmates as a game
• Gruesome experiments on inmates including babies
• Long death marches in the snow
Yet, one of the most obvious differences between the Nazi Death Camps and Alligator Alcatraz is how people got inside them. During the Holocaust years, the Nazi war machine was systematically rounding-up Jews, outside of Germany, all over Europe through the railway system. They [the Nazis] went out of their way to gather Jews, put them on trains and send them to the camps. Let me repeat this huge difference…the people were hunted down to be put in forced labor camps and later in death camps…THEY WERE HUNTED DOWN!
In the case of Alligator Alcatraz, the US government is asking illegals to self-deport. They are asked to return to their countries of origin, process their immigration papers properly and then, return to the USA as legal immigrants if they wish to do so, as I legally did on my first attempt in 1985 from France.
In a recent article for MSNBC, Andrea Pitzer wrote: “But it’s not just a new prison, Alcatraz or otherwise. I visited four continents to write a global history of concentration camps. This facility’s purpose fits the classic model: mass civilian detention without real trials targeting vulnerable groups for political gain based on ethnicity, race, religion or political affiliation rather than for crimes committed. And its existence points to serious dangers ahead for the country.“
The migrants of today, coming to America, for whatever reason they might have–and many do have valid reasons to come– are coming to our country knowing that they are going to have to come through the ICE system (as understaffed, overworked, and beyond capacity as it might be). They are coming through, knowing that if they want to have a chance to stay in the USA legally, they must go through the system. And when I say “They”, I mean anybody who wants to come to the USA, not just an ethnic group or religious group, but anybody. They want to come to the USA for asylum and for a better life, and THEY ARE NOT HUNTED DOWN! We are not going to El Salvador, Venezuela, Costa Rica, or anywhere else to put natives of these countries on trains or planes, bring them to the USA, and put them in camps. That is absolutely ludicrous, and there is zero moral equivalence.
She goes further and writes: “In 1935, at Hitler’s behest, the German Reichstag passed the Nuremberg Laws, a focus of which was to identify German Jews and revoke their citizenship, with countless other regulations restricting them. Dreaming of a pure Aryan nation, the Nazis initially imagined their targets would self-deport. Once the myth of self-deportation collapsed, they turned to more punitive measures.“
I agree with her about the enactment of the 1935 Nuremberg Laws and how that set the stage for the Final Solution, but the big difference that she seems to be ignoring is that Hitler’s goal was to strip German citizens of Jewish origins of their citizenship. These Jews had been German Jews for generations, and suddenly, Hitler said, “NO MORE!
In the case of Alligator Alcatraz, none of the people sent there are legal US citizens, being stripped of their citizenship. They are illegal foreign nationals.
If you want to compare 2025 to the 1930s and 1940s, and you certainly can, then why don’t you expose the various recent pogroms against Jews in Europe, California, and New York? Why not denounce the killing of Jews in DC? Why not speak up against the perpetrators of October 7, 2023, and all the supporters they instantly garnered who are still screaming “Globalize the Intifada?”
Isaiah 5:20 reads, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
We are in the 1930s and 1940s, indeed, but not for the reasons that Israel’s enemies would like you to believe. This craziness would make my grandfather Maurice Weinzveig roll in his grave if he could, but he can’t because he perished in the smokestacks of Auschwitz in the summer of 1942… Inside a real Concentration Camp, that is!
