Canada’s federal government admitted to secretly surveilling its population’s movements during the COVID-19 lockdown by tracking 33 million phones.
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) clandestinely tracked the devices to assess “the public’s responsiveness during lockdown measures,” the agency acknowledged last week, according to Blacklock’s Reporter, which first reported the disclosure.
Canada’s entire population totals 38 million, according to Statistics Canada.
“Evidence is coming in from many sources, from countries around the world, that what was seen as a huge surveillance surge — post 9/11 — is now completely upstaged by pandemic surveillance,” David Lyon, author of “Pandemic Surveillance” and the former director of the Surveillance Studies Centre at Queen’s University in Ontario, told the National Post.
The PHAC bought location and movement data from Canadian telecom giant Telus to “understand possible links between the movement of populations within Canada and the spread of COVID-19,” an agency spokesperson said, according to the paper.
The public health organization plans to continue tracking population movement for at least the next five years to control “other infectious diseases, chronic disease prevention and mental health,” the unnamed rep said.

Privacy advocate, David Lyon, further asserted that “I think that the Canadian public will find out about many other such unauthorized surveillance initiatives before the pandemic is over—and afterwards.”
“The pandemic has created opportunities for a massive surveillance surge on many levels—not only for public health, but also for monitoring those working, shopping and learning from home,” he warned.
Around the world governments have used the spread of the coronavirus as a excuse to track and restrict the freedoms of it’s citizens.
What was an unprecedented loss of freedom in western society, now has precedent in the future… that precedent may very well be exploited by the approaching antichrist system spoken of in the Bible (Revelation 13).

It was more extraordinary back in December 2019 to think that the antichrist during the Tribulation could cause the vast percentage of the population to agree to receive the “mark of the beast” (spoken of in Revelation 13:16-18). But now… it no longer appears so strange that people could be so easily persuaded… especially when their basic freedom to buy and sell hangs in the balance.
The COVID crisis has been jaw-droppingly exploited by globalists worldwide in a manner that is too reminiscent of Revelation 13 to simply ignore. What we are witnessing today is an astonishing and clear Harbinger of events to come!
