At least six Democrat lawmakers on Capitol Hill are calling for members of the military to refuse orders from their Commander-in-Chief. It is nothing short of a call for insurrection and President Trump is now calling for the lawmakers to be arrested.
“This is treason,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country.”
“It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL,” he wrote. “Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET.”
The Democrats posted a video message telling soldiers that threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home.
The message was organized by Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan along with Senator Mark Kelly, and Congressmen Chris Deluzio, Jason Crow, Maggie Goodlander and Chrissy Houlahan.
They said the Trump administration is a literal threat to the Constitution.
War Secretary Pete Hegseth called it “Stage 4 TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome.
White House Senior Aide Stephen Miller posted on X: “Democrat Lawmakers are now openly calling for insurrection.”
“There is nothing graver that you could possibly say as a United States Senator than encouraging, urging, directing members of the Armed Forces of the United States or the clandestine services of the United States, to defy their president, defy their chain of command, defy their superiors,” Miller told Fox News.
“To say such a thing would require you to have and to present to the nation some extraordinary scandal beyond even our wildest imagination, which of course they don’t have, because every single thing that this president has done has been not only lawful, but has been repairing and reversing the unlawful and unconstitutional behavior of the previous administration,” he added.
The six Democrats are all military veterans so they know exactly what they are doing – undermining the chain of command and portraying the Commander-in-Chief as some sort of domestic terrorist.
The Democrats should tread very carefully. Words matter and words have consequences. Threatening a military coup against a duly elected president of the United States cannot and must not go unanswered.
