Samaritan’s Purse Helps Israel In The Wake Of Destructive Iranian Missile Strikes

Apartments that once bustled with activity are now a pile of ashen ruins. Israelis, who called these high-rise buildings home, escaped with little but their lives after recent Iranian missile attacks. Samaritan’s Purse staff members are at the scene of the attacks, providing grocery vouchers to victims to help them continue to survive.

We have also provided 20 ambulances to Magen David Adom, the national emergency response service of Israel. Many of these vehicles are armored to protect both patients and medics as they provide life-saving care. Samaritan’s Purse is planning to deliver an additional 22 ambulances to Israel in the coming months.

Elsewhere in Israel and Gaza, we are supplying the war-weary population with millions of gallons of fresh water as well as basic medical checkups.

Please pray for all those affected by these missile strikes and for all those suffering from war in the Middle East. As Psalm 122:6 commands, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”

It Is A Serious Misjudgment For The Modern Church To Disregard What God Has To Say About The Future

The study of “last things” (eschatology) seems to have fallen out of favor in many corners of the modern church. With a dismissive reference to no one knowing the day or hour of Christ’s return, many Christians assume that studying eschatology is not something most churches, or even individual Christians, really need to take seriously. I repeatedly hear students in my classes claim that Scripture is too unclear on the details or timing of the Rapture, or whether Christians will go through the Tribulation, or the nature of the Millennial Kingdom, to make studying these things worth their time. Is studying eschatology largely irrelevant to our walk with God?
