Isaiah 5:20 KJV – “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Franklin Graham took to Facebook last night to defend the First Lady after she was booed at a youth summit in Baltimore and said that this was yet another reminder that Christians need to be praying for the first family:
First Lady Melania Trump has been tireless in using her platform to warn of the dangers of opioids as our nation struggles under an unprecedented addiction epidemic.
This week as she was speaking at a Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, some in the crowd openly booed her. Shame on them! Has respect been thrown out the window?
I’m grateful that the First Lady cares enough to be speaking out about how we can protect children from this killer. She does an awesome job. This is a reminder to pray for the First Lady, President Donald J. Trump, and their family as they serve our country.
In a statement released after the event, Melania Trump addressed the reaction: “We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse.”
2 Timothy 3:1-4 KJV – “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God”
