A seven-year-old boy, whose mother claims he’s actually a girl named “Luna,” recently chose to go to school as himself, a boy named James, now that his father has been granted equal say in his “transition.”
Two weeks ago, Dallas Judge Kim Cooks ruled that Dr. Anne Georgulas and Mr. Jeffrey Younger, James’ parents, have joint managing conservatorship and joint decision making over their boys; James has a twin brother named Jude.
Both Georgulas, a pediatrician, and Younger had gag orders placed on them by Judge Cooks, barring them from speaking to the media. The case gained national attention after a jury decided that one guardian should have sole conservatorship over James, and that person should not be Mr. Younger.
“Going to school. This is what it looks like when JAMES gets to choose!” a Facebook post from a third party said, showing the boys with their father. “Affirm this!”
“Also, a photo taken yesterday, just before church. James and Jude proud to be men!” the post added. “Save James, save thousands of children!”
In an update, it was noted that Mr. Younger emailed the principal on Monday “and James and Jude’s teachers had reported that there was zero stress or disruptions in the classroom today.”
“Just another day in school Prayers answered,” the update concluded.

While Georgulas argued that James is actually a girl who likes to wear dresses and “identifies” as “Luna,” Mr. Younger said his ex-wife would, in his opinion, only show James love and affection when he would present as a girl. He also posted a video of James at just three years old telling Mr. Younger that “mommy” tells him he’s a girl.
As noted by LifeSiteNews, “Georgulas had complete authority over psychological and psychiatric care for the boys” prior to Cook’s October 23 ruling.
But the fight over James is far from over, unfortunately. According to The Dallas Morning News, Georgulas is now seeking to have Judge Cooks recused and filed a motion “to conform to the jury’s verdict granting the mother sole custody” of James and Jude.
According to Georgulas, Judge Cooks should be recused for posting about the case on social media. The female judge shared a post from The Dallas Morning News a friend has shared, and captioned it with: “The Governor nor any legislature had any influence on the Court’s Decision.”
Before Mr. Younger was hit with a gag order, he told LifeSiteNews reporter Madeleine Jacob that his ex-wife contemplated “cutting the penis off” James in an email presented to the jury.
“We put up an email form Ms. Georgulas to me in which she contemplates cutting the penis off my son. 20 minutes later, they go into deliberations, and they come back voting against me,” he told Jacob.
“The Texas I grew up in, the Texas that I live in, if a parent did that, we’re just gonna give him [the child] to the other parent; we’re not gonna tolerate that kind of craziness. So it just tells you, I think, really how far our society has changed, and how much less Christian we are,” he added.
