Shooting Attack In Central Israel Kills 5, Bringing Week’s Grizzly Total To 11 Killed By Palestinian Terrorists

Five people were confirmed dead in a shooting attack on Tuesday night in the central Israeli city of Bnei Brak.

“We unfortunately have to note that five people have died,” said Eli Bin, the head of the Magen David Adom emergency responders.

Video footage aired by Israeli media appeared to show a man on the street shooting at a car. The car stopped and he shot into the car.

Media reports indicated that the suspected terrorist, armed with an M-16 rifle, was killed by an armed civilian who returned fire. He was reportedly a Palestinian from Ya’bad near Jenin in the West Bank.

“The shooter arrived on a motorcycle, we do not rule out that there were more shooters,” a police spokesman said.

The mayor of neighboring Ramat Gan posted to Facebook that residents should continue to isolate with no official confirmation that the threat was over.

According to an initial assessment by the defense establishment, three terrorists were involved in the attack. Besides the shooter who was killed, another suspect was arrested. A third suspect may be still on the loose.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz was conducting a security assessment with senior security officials after the attack.

A total of 11 people in Israel have been killed in the past week in three attacks — four in Beersheba, two in Hadera and now at least five in Tuesday night’s attacks.

The terrorist actions by the “Palestinian” people should be universally condemned. However, the chosen narrative surrounding Israel, which is espoused by most major media outlets, has been to demonize the Jewish State, claiming it has bullied and oppressed the Palestinian people.

Hamas and others have brazenly made their goals to “obliterate” Israel and eradicate the Jewish people abundantly clear.

This is rooted in the same antisemitic thinking that has throughout history lead to the persecution and extermination efforts against the Jewish people.

Hal Lindsey in his article, “What Is Hamas?” explained that “a surprising number” of companies and politicians side with the “Palestinians” over Israel.

“They almost always say they are standing with Palestinians, not Hamas,” Linsey stated. “But that’s like coming out against the United States in World War II, claiming you only support Germans, not Nazis.”

“The eradication of Israel is their goal,” he urged. “They don’t just want to win a military victory over Israel or carve out a Palestinian state. Hamas wants nothing less than the destruction of the Jewish people. Genocide is their aim and reason. How could you describe Hamas as anything but a terror group?”

In his article, Lindsey went into detail about how Hamas’ charter promotes stereotypes about the Jewish people, anti-semitic false accusations, the murder of Jews and is vehemently against peace with Israel stating “There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad”

Given the fact that “Hamas stands for unending violence, war, and terror,” are those who stand in solidarity with the Palestinians really “for peace or for never-ending jihad?” Lindsey asked.

In Psalm 122:6, Christians are specifically urged to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”

Christians must understand their Biblical responsibility toward God’s chosen people. It is incumbent upon Christians to love, pray for and stand up for the Jewish people, the state of Israel, and their eternal capital of Jerusalem. God has not forgotten His people, and neither should His servants.

By God’s Sovereign Design, Israel Will Ultimately Lead The World In Worship Of Him

It is common to cross paths with Christians who don’t believe the Jewish people today are God’s Chosen People. They fail to see how Israel fits into God’s plan for this world, and they cannot grasp Israel’s significance to them as believers in Jesus. Yet Israel is crucial to God’s plan to redeem the earth.

The Future That Awaits The Middle East: The Superhighway Of The Millennial Kingdom

Although the Middle East is currently engulfed in war, the superhighway of Isaiah 19 reminds us that in that future time when Jesus rules and reigns as King from Jerusalem, not only will Jew and Arab peacefully co-exist, but they will also worship the true and living God together. This is a powerful reminder of the sovereign work of God, who alone has the power to transform regions of despair into places of worship, honour, and praise. Although the Western world currently likes to speak about normalisation between Israel and Arab countries in this age, true normalisation will only come when all nations recognise that the God of Israel is the true and living God.

More than once, I have written about the mystery of Jews who seem to support their own demise by voting with, and standing by, those who hate them. Many Jews voted for two anti-Semites – Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. No two U.S. Presidents did more damage to Israel than these men – yet they got the Jewish vote by and large. I have watched my own Jewish family members who are unbelievers vote Democrat repeatedly and have no explanation for it.
