The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly struck targets in Syria for the second time this week overnight on Thursday; While the area of Aleppo was hit earlier in the week, a small town near Homs was the target of interest on Thursday, as well as the T-4 Airbase; Explosions were seen on social media.
Syrian air defense systems reportedly responded to Israeli missiles fired overnight on Thursday, which state media claims downed most of the projectiles. However, videos and photos on social media reveal a number of explosions on the ground. According to reports, there were no casualties.
Thursday’s strike targeted the town of al-Qusayr, near Homs, not far from Damascus. This marked the second Israeli strike in Syria this week. At least one source reports that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) utilized Lebanese airspace in carrying out the attack. This has been the case many times.
One of the targets of primary interest on Thursday was the T-4 Airbase near Homs, which is well known to be where Iran has a massive presence. It has been no stranger to Israeli airstrikes in the past.

Damascus’s destruction could also be a catalyst to the Ezekiel 38-39 war in-which Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others come together from the north, with weaponry supplied by Russia, to attack the Jewish state.
