Tucker Carlson has crossed the line, but is he taking conservatives with him?
It started when He interviewed “Christ at the Checkpoint” organizer and antisemite Munther Isaac in April 2024 on his X channel. As of this writing, it has received 19.5M views, and he was just getting started.
Then, in July of 2024, he interviewed Country singer John Rich, who accused the Jews of controlling the banks and financing the Scofield Bible through the Rothschild family in Europe.
In September 2024, he followed that with an interview of “historian” Darryl Cooper who believes that Hitler’s death camps were the most humane way to deal with the casualties of World War Two, when he said: “In 1941, they launched a war where they were completely unprepared to deal with the millions and millions of prisoners of war, of local political prisoners….They went in with no plan for that and just threw these people into camps. And millions of people ended up dead there.” Darryl Cooper said that the gas chambers and crematoriums were the only ways to humanely dispose of the millions of dead bodies, and Carlson looked at him like a deer blinded by headlights and appeared to silently agree.
Don’t forget the Palestinian nun he recently interviewed, who used just about every single lie about Israel, Palestine, Christians, and the Bible that she could, and again, Tucker nodded as if in shock from what he had just learned.
Fast forward to late October 2025, and the icing on the cake of Judeophobia landed as Tucker interviewed Hitler-loving-Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes. It received over 5M views in the first week. Fuentes is one of the most venomous antisemites in America. He praises Hitler, saying that he is on “Team Hitler,” denies the Holocaust, supports Hamas, and that is just scratching the surface of his Jew hatred.
Tucker Carlson is receiving some pushback from genuine, old-school conservatives, but not enough. For the most part, people are either silent or, worse, endorsing and supporting Tucker Carlson. This must stop, but it won’t if we remain silent and inactive. In the meantime, Tucker Carlson is now the #1 podcast on Spotify. The momentum is terrifying!
He is still conservative in many ways, and this might be a big part of the problem. Many people still remember the Fox News journalist who delivered many powerful conservative monologues. I certainly do. Yet, anyone in their right mind must see that his views on Israel and the Jewish people have shifted dramatically. During his 2.5-hour podcast with Fuentes, Tucker said, “I always thought it’s great to criticize and question our relationship with Israel because it’s insane and it hurts us.”
He also claimed that Christian Zionism is a “heresy,” and said that Christian Zionists have been “seized by [a] brain virus.” He added, “I despise [Christian Zionists] more than anyone.”
It was only 7 years ago when he could be heard saying:
- “Israel has a right to defend itself… [and] Jerusalem… to be their capital.” — Hannity, May 14, 2018.
- “Israel built its wall because it wanted to know who is coming over… it’s its country, right?” — Tucker Carlson Tonight, Dec 12, 2018.
What happened? Tucker Carlson’s view of Israel is a case of toxic cognitive dissonance. Why such an about-face? It is hard to say, but the tone cannot be interpreted to be anything but antisemitism, especially considering his recent guests.
Tucker takes offense at the idea that the Jewish people are called the “chosen people.” He even says that it is not a biblical concept. He needs to read Deuteronomy 7:6, which states: “For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God; Yahweh your God has chosen you to be a people for His own treasured possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth” (emphasis added). It couldn’t be clearer! Being chosen doesn’t guarantee salvation, but it places the Jewish people in the center of God’s program.
Tucker really needs to take this up with God.
Additionally, why is he not inviting Ben Shapiro, Michael Savage, Dennis Prager, Joel Rosenberg, or any other conservative Jewish voice? Better yet, bring two guests on both sides of the spectrum and allow for an intelligent dialogue! This could be very fruitful, but would it have the same shock value, and would it get as many clicks?
To most of his supporters, he is still a worthy conservative voice. In all fairness, all of us have hills that we are willing to die on. It is akin to voting for a candidate who shares all our Judeo-Christian conservative views except one. We agree on all the big items and agree to disagree on one that we either don’t understand, can’t relate to, or don’t care about. Many conservatives today might be doing just that. They still support Tucker on everything, and they look the other way when he repeatedly throws Israel under the bus.
Tucker calls himself a Christian, but he ignores Christian values, not to mention the difficult but unavoidable verse in Matthew 5:43-44: “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Where is your Christian love and compassion, Tucker? Do you really “despise” Christian Zionists more than anyone else on earth? More than Hamas terrorists?
If the conservative MAGA movement wants to survive, continue to thrive, and rebuild the America we almost lost, MAGA influencers—all the way up to J.D. Vance and Donald J. Trump—are going to have to speak up and distance themselves from the likes of Tucker Carlson. Carlson is very visible as part of MAGA, and he doesn’t hide his friendship with President Trump. His recent appearance at Turning Point USA’s memorial for Charlie Kirk also painted him as a conservative Christian—wrongly, but dogmatically, nonetheless. True conservatives must sever ties with him immediately to retain their integrity. That would include Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation.
Tucker Carlson and the likes are fracturing the MAGA movement and putting conservatives at risk of losing the 2026 Midterms and possibly the next presidential elections in 2028. MAGA proponents shouldn’t cancel Tucker Carlson, simply because of our respect for the First Amendment, but we can expose, denounce, and stop supporting him for what he used to be, but is no longer.
He is the biggest influential conservative voice against Israel, and he won’t be the last unless true conservatives do something. Part of what has made America great since 1948 has been its support of Israel. To be sure, I am not speaking of blind support for anything the Israeli government is doing, but they have the right to exist in their historical and biblical homeland known as Eretz Yisrael.
If Tucker Carlson is not stopped soon, Israel will be further ostracized and demonized.
The time has come for people of goodwill, conservatives, and Christians to tell their Jewish friends here and abroad that they have their backs and to speak up, and the time has come for Tucker to lose the support of the very people who made him who he is…or was, rather!
