The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted Hamas interests on Saturday night following rocket fire from Gaza; Several different military sites were hit.
On Saturday night, the IDF responded to rocket fire from Hamas in Gaza by targeting multiple Hamas compounds via airstrikes. Hamas is the Iranian-backed terror organization presiding over Gaza. According to the IDF, different sites that were hit include anti-aircraft missile launcher(s), terror tunnels, a training location, and more.
The IDF said on Twitter, โIn response to the rocket fired from Gaza at Israel earlier tonight, our forces just struck Hamas terror targets including a training facility, an anti-aircraft missile launcher post, a concrete production plant & terror tunnel infrastructure.โ
Before what took place on Saturday, the two parties exchanged fire on Thursday, prompted by other rockets fired from Gaza.
