Young people are particularly drawn to artificial intelligence. Some of them will tell you that they can get an answer more quickly from a search engine or Alexa than they can get from God. Who needs God in an age of artificial intelligence? A.I. is almost all-knowing. And these technologies will tell you what you want to hear in technicolor, 3-D, and in an instant.

People do not consider that AI is becoming an idol because it does not necessarily match the characteristics of historical idolatry – dumb idols of wood and stone that cannot speak. That is why people are being influenced to anthropomorphise AI – it avoids the "idol" tag. However, the broader problem which most remain blind to is that idolatry also opens the door to Babylon's whole religious system, which includes divination, sorcery, spiritism, and demonism.
It’s safe to say that computer and cognitive scientist John McCarthy was not imagining an AI Jesus back in 1955 when he coined the term “AI,” short for “artificial intelligence.” McCarthy and others pioneered the field, and their work is affecting our culture in a way unmatched since the Industrial Revolution.
The New York Times review of the documentary Eternal You, which shares the details of this new technology, put it this way, “Increasingly, we turn to A.I. to answer the sorts of questions and fulfill the kinds of longings that religion once solved.” And many people today “treat [AI] with veneration and a little fear, as if it is a god and not a creation.”
Just as the Christian looks forward to the rapture of the church, supporters of god-like AI look forward to the introduction of technology which, according to the Transhumanist Declaration, allows them to overcome aging, cognitive shortcomings, involuntary suffering and confinement to planet Earth. In other words, in their version of religion, it is akin to an electronic rapture into the presence of their AI-god.
Today, lying and deception have become industrialized. We now have machines with which to spread lies like no generation before us. More than that, we have machines with the ability to create their own lies. That’s new and unexpected. The internet and artificial intelligence (AI) have done for deception what paved roads did for cars.
Many people are aware that someday the Mark of the Beast will be implemented. We are NOT there yet, which will occur during the Tribulation. However, the infrastructure for the technology needed for the Mark of the Beast to function is being developed and used today.
Like the citizens of Babel, transhumanists seek to reach heaven through human technological effort. But theologians warn against attempts at building paradise, “Because man is a sinner, these utopian schemes must always be dystopian in their outcomes.” Fallen humans will never build heaven on earth.
Because I have taken such an interest in Bible prophecy, I knew a day would come when technology would increase rapidly and the world would change in ways we only used to imagine. I knew someday we would wake up and see that the things we used to call science fiction were now everyday realities.
Personal AI will take away personal privacy. More of your information will be stored and accessible on the cloud. Technology, which will be openly embraced by many, will also be a tool that someday the Antichrist will use to control the world.
I have to wonder, when God spoke through his servants and warned generation after generation of the coming deceptions, could servants like Moses, Paul, and Peter even imagine the depth of deception this modern-day technology makes possible?
In the future, if not already, there is little we will be able to do without someone knowing what we are doing or where we are going. Scripture told us this day was coming (Revelation 13:16-18).
AI cannot speak anything into existence or give anyone eternal life. It cannot give anyone comfort, guidance, or offer anyone peace or hope. It cannot still the wind or calm the sea. It is more like Frankenstein than like God.
False comfort comes from creating a god in your own image who likes and accepts what you like and accept as well as hates and rejects what you also hate and reject.
I would argue that, while that was true for America in generations past, America of 2023 is certainly not a “Judeo-Christian society”—we don’t even have a “moral compass” as a society anymore! Really, America is now a post-Christian nation, absolutely unmoored from its once-Christianized roots.
It sounds like bad science fiction, but it is rapidly becoming reality. Some of the most powerful people on the planet think they are going to “upgrade” human beings — or at least some human beings — through genetic engineering and technological schemes…
No human writing, no human speaking, no human connection. The entire church service was electronic, written by AI, and presented by avatars at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Feurth, Germany.
If we didn’t understand that God is in complete control, we would, like some inventors of artificial intelligence (AI), be terrified of what is coming.
Harari’s recent calls for an AI-generated Bible did not appear in isolation but are embedded in a much broader agenda that sets up humans (or human technology) as the authority for truth.
The plans of the globalists bare unmistakable resemblance to what God's Word stated will occur in the future. While Harari's intent was to undermine the authority of the Bible, it seems he accidentally validated God's authorship of Scripture.
Any attempt to thwart God’s sovereign control and contravene his plan of the ages is sure to fail. No amount of computing power, semi-sentient artificial intelligence, or array of microchips will change that.
Some would view all this as drivel, as the writer puts it—just tongue-in-cheek fun-poking. But the God whose Son paid the price for all the sin of the world in the most horrific, humiliating way imaginable, I must believe, finds little humor here.
Several things in Bible prophecy seem to indicate the end-times use of AI. Happily, none of them involve the extinction of the human race. But they do involve a stunning loss of human rights.
This was the very temptation that Eve and then Adam fell for—attempting to become their own gods. So, it’s no surprise that their descendants want to do the same thing...
Current efforts to advance the human condition are clearly not leading to heaven on earth. They are leading to the system we know as “the Beast System” which will be led by the Antichrist.
Now, many people might assume AI is neutral, just giving users “the facts.” But those who build AI systems have a worldview—and that worldview dominates the answers AI bots give.
Those who are warning about the dangers and sophistication of artificial intelligence say we are summoning up demons. The advancement of this technology...
