Secularists Don’t Want The Bible Taught In Texas Schools—They Want Atheism Taught Exclusively

Is it unconstitutional for Texas public schools to require Bible reading?

Atheists and atheist groups are angry about a recent decision in Texas to introduce select Bible passages as required reading for students in public school classrooms. They claim this is bringing religion into the classroom and that’s unconstitutional. But is religion already in the classroom?

Yes! Secular is not neutral! One is either for Christ or against him. Atheism, grounded in naturalism (materialism—no supernatural), is the prevailing religion of our day, and it’s taught as fact in school classrooms across the United States.

Every teacher, every curriculum, every textbook, every educational philosophy is built on a worldview. The question is never whether a worldview will be taught. The only question is whose worldview? One founded in God’s Word or one founded in man’s word?

It’s a battle between two religions.

Yes, religion is already in the classroom, and the only reason atheists don’t want the Bible in the classroom is that they want their religion of atheism to be taught exclusively! And why? Because ultimately, they hate God and the Bible and want to define truth for themselves—they want to be their own god (Genesis 3:5).

The Bible is offensive because it tells us we are not God, we don’t get to determine truth for ourselves, and we are sinners who cannot save ourselves (only Jesus can save us). Our sin nature hates that message, but it’s the message every single person needs to hear!

While we certainly want children to understand the Bible’s immense influence on history and civilization, our greatest prayer is much more than that. Our greatest prayer is that they will come to know the Author of the Bible. The Bible is not merely the world’s most influential book; it is God’s living Word. It is God-breathed, revealing the Savior who came to rescue sinners, including every one of us, from the judgment we deserve and offering the free gift of eternal life to all who repent and believe in Him.

In A World Filled With Theological Confusion, Christians Must Be Ready To Confront False Teaching

Finding a good church is hard. Most people looking for a church these days desire one that’s welcoming with a genuine community atmosphere, authentic leaders, music that resonates, engaging family and youth programs, is not too far of a drive, and has services at convenient times. But above all these factors, many newcomers prioritize whether the teaching is accurate, understandable, and relevant to their lives. Preaching is one of the highest factors affecting whether someone decides to call a local church their home or move on to the next one down the street.

A Winning Political Strategy?: JD Vance Opts To Appease Dangerous Anti-Israel Conspiracies

As antisemitism ingrains itself deeper into the Democrat Party, and many young republicans follow behind, taken captive by the conspiracies of Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, and others, recent statements by Vice President JD Vance have shown that he is more than willing to feed into the trend. On an episode this week of the “Joe Rogan Experience,” Vance seemed eager to brand himself as the “reasonable moderate” voice, repeatedly calling Israel an ally while simultaneously proping up outlandish theories directed against the Jewish State.

Called Out From The Culture: The Hope For America Is The Church

I believe that the hope for America is the church—God working through his church. Christians need to live up to their name. As Christ followers, we need to be Christlike. And if the church would be what it was meant to be, then it would change our nation. But let’s localize it. If your church would be what it ought to be, it could change your city. It could change your county, and it could change your state. Let’s localize it even more. If you would be what you ought to be as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a part of the church, then what a difference it could make in your church.
