Hamas Faces Pressure To Disarm As Officials Warn Gaza Could Slide Toward Another Round Of War

The U.S.-backed proposal for Gaza has reached a decisive moment, according to a report by Ynet News, with Hamas expected to respond to a plan involving phased disarmament, gradual Israeli withdrawal, and long-term reconstruction in the Strip.

If Hamas refuses, officials warn Gaza could slide toward another round of war.

Under the plan, implementation would be overseen by a joint force made up of Palestinian security personnel and what is called an โ€œInternational Stabilization Forceโ€ (ISF). But the officials said the ISF team is not expected to arrive in the coming weeks due to the war involving Iran.

Well, here’s my take.

Hamas and the Islamic Republic of Iran have something in common: they won’t give up control without a fight. As idealistic as it sounds that Hamas would relinquish control in Gaza, personally, I don’t believe Hamas has the track record of keeping promisesโ€”they do, however, have a track record of deceit and death.

And really, I’m praying that I’m wrong.

9/11: 25 Years Later, Terrorist Sympathizers Have Been Accepted Into Mainstream American Politics

A new 9/11 is taking place in America. It is happening before our eyes. But it is so big and so terrible that our brains struggle to interpret what our eyes tell us. A cascading collapse is underway. The weak levels break first, but the catastrophe eventually crushes the entire edifice. Itโ€™s not a failure of our eyes. We can see whatโ€™s happening. The problem is that we have never seen anything like this. We donโ€™t have a frame of reference quantifying the ongoing national destruction. Radical Muslim terrorists physically attacked the United States on 9/11. This time, terrorist sympathizers have been accepted into the mainstream of American politics.

Defaming The First Amendment: University Calls Religious Liberty A โ€˜License To Discriminateโ€™

The stateโ€™s flagship university relies on taxpayer dollars, which in turn at least partly support such trainings. Arielle Del Turco, director of Family Research Councilโ€™s Center for Religious Liberty, noted the irony of taxpayer-funded institutions taking aim at the Constitution. Del Turco toldย Decision: โ€œItโ€™s sad that the University of Georgia is effectively defaming the First Amendment. Religious liberty is not a license to discriminate against anyone. Rather, it protects everyoneโ€™s fundamental right to live according to their own deeply held beliefs.โ€

โ€˜A Firm Reliance On The Protection Of Divine Providenceโ€™: Finding The Way Back As One Nation Under God

It is no secret that America has largely turned its back on God. Children are encouraged to find their own truth from a young age, and mentions of God in our public schools are brushed aside or removed. Church attendance is rapidly declining as self-help strategies promise the answers to lifeโ€™s problems. Weโ€™ve traded Divine guidance for subjective truthโ€”โ€œitโ€™s up to me decide what is right and wrong.โ€ And even the concept of biological sex and gender is up to the preference of each individual. It is clear that secularism has infiltrated every aspect of society, and the results are catastrophic. The further we stray from God, the deeper we sink into hopelessness.
