After the University of Pennsylvania faced significant funding cuts from the federal government for allowing biological males to compete in female sports, UPenn has agreed to a landmark deal with the Trump administration to end the unfair practice and reverse the resulting damage.

As part of the deal, the University has agreed not to allow biological men in the future to compete against women or share “intimate facilities.” According to the Daily Wire, UPenn will also “adopt ‘biology-based definitions’ for ‘male’ and ‘female’ that comply with Trump’s executive orders on the issue.”

For the women who have previously been affected by the unfair playing field, the University has promised in the agreement to strip male swimmer “Lia Thomas” of the titles, giving them instead to the female athletes he competed against. They will also be writing a “personalized letter of apology to each impacted female swimmer.”

“President Trump has been one of the strongest and most consistent champions for protecting women’s sports,” the White House detailed to the Daily Wire. “Under his leadership, the administration has taken decisive action — through executive orders, public messaging, and policy initiatives — to affirm a simple truth: men do not belong in women’s sports. In stark contrast, the University of Pennsylvania has repeatedly violated the spirit and letter of Title IX by allowing biological males to compete in women’s athletic programs — undermining decades of progress and the hard-earned achievements of female athletes.”

President Trump, immediately after his inauguration, began signing executive orders to “restore biological truth to the federal government” and “defend women from gender ideology extremism.” On February 5th, the President signed an executive order titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” which rescinded funds to educational institutions and athletic associations that “deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy,” calling it a matter of “safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.”

Ken Ham, the Founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis, has regularly spoken out against biological males being included in female athletic competitions, highlighting it as another blatant rejection of God’s Word in our society.

“Transgender ideology—which is anti-biblical and goes against observational science—is erasing women, destroying women’s sports, and hurting real people (including those caught up in gender transitions and everything that’s included with that process),” Ham wrote. “It’s a war on women with a variety of consequences that we’re only beginning to see now.”

“Why is it happening? Because people refuse to believe the truth of God’s Word and, instead, have minds that are darkened and cannot see the foolishness of what they believe,” he argued. “Men competing against women in certain sports is simply foolish—men carry an unfair advantage. God made men and women equally in his image, but different from each other! We’re not exactly the same—that should be obvious!”
