Isaiah 54:17 KJV – “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Hours after violence at the Gaza border

Two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip late Friday failed to reach their intended target of southern Israel, landing instead within the Palestinian enclave, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) said in a statement.

The sirens of warning of incoming rockets were nevertheless activated in regions adjacent to the Hamas-controlled territory.

The attempted rocket attacks came hours after one Palestinian was killed and 54 were injured by IDF fire during protests held along the Israel-Gaza border, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The Friday protests are part of a larger movement called the “Great March of Return,” where Palestinian activists gather at the border to demand the right to return to “their” lands they either abandoned or fled during the 1948 war for Israeli independence.
