Rampant Deception: Has The World Been Conditioned To Reject Facts And Truth?

The mystery of lawlessness is already at work indeed, just look around you. People have in their passports, Gender X. That’s it! We’re changing creation, we’re changing the Bible, we’re changing God’s word, we’re changing everything. The mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Delusion is all around, people believe their own lies, deception is everywhere.

One of the things Jesus said will be in the last days is deception. You will be deceived, and the deception will come from within and from outside. Be ready. Be sober. Look around. And the only way you can detect deception is if you are holding onto the word of God and if you read and if you eat and devour and you know it. Because when you know the word of God, they cannot deceive you.

Most people have thought or said at one time, “I never thought I’d see the day…” followed by something bizarre or out of the ordinary. We could collectively say this over and over about the days in which we are living: I never thought I would see the day when the doctors would support things that they know aren’t true. Or, I never thought I would see the day when parents would allow 5-year-olds to determine their gender and even allow them to have surgery or take puberty blockers to keep their bodies from proving that their feelings are wrong.

How is it that we have arrived at such a condition where biological realities are denied and feelings determine facts? And, furthermore, how are we going to navigate our way through such times when the majority is growing of people who believe things that science knows, and has long proven, to be untrue?

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 KJV – “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

We could also say, “I never thought I would see the day when not only are God’s moral standards denied and rejected but His laws of nature as well.” The mystery of lawlessness has long been at work. To this point, it has been restrained by the power of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the true church. When the church is removed and the Holy Spirit no longer restrains the rise of the Antichrist coming to power, the whole world, having already been prepared to reject facts and truth, are going to fall for his signs and lying wonders and believe “the lie” that he is God.

The mystery portion of lawlessness is how many ways lawlessness was going to be manifested, and, while we have “never thought we would see the day when…,” that day is here.

Matthew 24:12 KJV – “And because iniquity [lawlessness] shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

The Greek verb translated as “cold” is psychō. It means “to breath”, or, figuratively, “a reduction in temperature”. The implication is clear that when someone stops breathing their body grows cold and because of abounding lawlessness, natural love and affection will die. The English word “psycho” is a fitting description of our day, though the Greek means something completely different.

Psalm 27:13-14 KJV – “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

The days in which we now live can be overwhelming and King David gives us some Holy Spirit inspired counsel as to how to handle them and not lose heart. He says to wait on the Lord. When we read the word “wait”, our minds will naturally gravitate to our understanding of the word and view this as reminding us that God is going to do something someday, and we should wait for Him to do so. While the Hebrew word for “wait” can mean “to tarry” or even “expectant hope”, the primary meaning of the word is “to bind together”.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 KJV – “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

This is a popular verse at weddings and is used as a reminder to have the Lord as an integral part of married life. The context of the verse, however, takes it beyond marriage:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 KJV – “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?”

How do we not lose hope in times such as these where little natural or normal love and affection exists and so much of what was there in the past has died in many because of their lawless behaviors?

Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV – “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

We are going to need the fellowship of other believers more and more the closer we get to “the day” that we are taken out of the way. We can see the goodness of God in the land of the living, even when the living are becoming more and more “psycho” by the day. How do we do so? As often as we can, we should be with others who are walking, breathing, living proof of the miraculous, soul saving power of the true and living God. Help each other up, stir up one another to love and good works, and bind ourselves together with the Lord and we will not be broken.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus

The Absurdity Of Lies Hasn’t Stopped People From Accusing Jews

In his book, Ariel Toaff claims that the use of blood for Passover was a regular thing in Jewish communities, and it is very damaging to judeo/Christian relations. The old canard lives on, as irrational as ever and as believable as ever by those who loathe the Jews and seek their complete destruction.

House Speaker Prays Through Foreign Aid Controversy, Seeking To ‘Operate In Accordance With God’s Principles’

Tuesday night, as he wrestled with what the right path forward was, he turned to the Lord in prayer. “He was torn between trying to save his job and do the right thing,” House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul, a GOP colleague from Texas, said. “He prayed over it.”

In A World Encased In Violence, Prophecy Is The Stabiliser Of Our Faith

God did not provide His Word so that it would simply die in the hands of the spiritually dead. He expected, as evidenced by Habakkuk, that it be shared – particularly that which was warning people of the two paths available – righteousness or wickedness.
