Johns Hopkins Hires Desgraced Former Professor Who Advocated For Destimatizing Pedophila

A transgender assistant professor who was forced to resign after she openly advocated for the destigmatization of pedophilia has now been hired by Johns Hopkins University.

Additionally disturbing, according to the University, the pedophilia defending former professor, Allyn Walker, will be working in the Moore Center for the prevention of child sexual abuse.

Last November, Walker, who previously was employed by Old Dominion University, made headlines when she published her book, “A Long Dark Shadow: Minor Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity,” and publically spoke about destigmatizing adults who are sexually attracted to children.

The premise of her book was to claim that while child sexual abuse is “never ever okay,” pedophiles (or what she refers to as MAPs “Minor Attracted Persons”) should not be stigmatized or ashamed for their perversion.

Walker, who is female but refers to herself as “non-binary,” insisted in her book and subsequent interviews that “non-offending MAPs” should not be categorized as “evil or morally corrupt.” Why? Because there “is no morality or immorality attached to attraction to anyone, because no one can control who they’re attracted to,” she claimed.

After backlash erupted and a 15,000 strong petition called for her removal, Old Dominion University complied, placing Walker on leave before announcing her resignation.

In her resignation, Walker insisted that she was the target of a smear campaign and discrimination by the media for being transgender, despite the University’s “Trans Advisory Board” calling her remarks on pedophilia “reprehensible.”

On Thursday, Johns Hopkins University announced its excitement “to share that Allyn Walker, Ph.D., will be joining the Moore Center as a postdoctoral fellow on May 25.”

“Allyn Walker is a leader in the field of perpetration prevention research, which is essential for developing a comprehensive public health approach to addressing child sexual abuse and effective prevention programs. We are delighted to have Allyn Walker join our team,” the Moore Center reiterated Friday.

In response to Johns Hopkins, a professor at the University of South Wales, Michael Salter, questioned the ethics of the University’s hiring of Walker.

“To retain its ethical foundation, child sexual abuse prevention work has to be victim-centered,” he underscored. “What is victim-centric about the claim that there is nothing wrong with being sexually attracted to children?”

Walker’s stated belief regarding pedophilia doesn’t seem to bother Johns Hopkins University, nor would it likely bother many others in the media who have similarly advocated for the normalization of so-called “Minor Attracted Persons.”

In January, USA Today came under fire for an article decrying that pedophilia is still one of “the most misunderstood” sexual orientations.

Author and Stand Up For The Truth radio host David Fiorazo explained why Christians should not be surprised by the progression of perversion.

“America had been prepped decades ago for post-modernism and a new era of sexual behavior and expression,” he wrote. “People began accepting immoral ideas and lifestyles that used to be called ‘sins.’ Though this rebellion and sexual perversion were not new historically, they had to be accepted and normalized.”

“The increase of adultery and abortion came first, which helped set the stage for pornography, homosexuality, transgenderism, Drag Queen Story Hours, and of course, pedophilia,” Fiorazo described.

“The progression has been clear,” he stressed. “Reject Jesus and truth, indoctrinate kids, promote promiscuity, win over the culture, normalize perversion; no more shame, celebrate pride!”

“Pedophilia is simply the next logical step for some, in the regression of God-ordained, natural marriage and sexual intimacy,” he continued. “As for those on the left who say they just want to ‘live and let live,’ we are no longer naive enough to think it stops there. Those who have created gods in their own image don’t want any other God, authority, or moral standard.”

“How should believers in Christ respond? Love others and preach the Word, of course,” Fiorazo concluded, reminding Christians that “Romans 12:21 says, ‘Don’t be overcome by evil; overcome evil with good.'”
