Ephesians 2:10 KJV – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.“
Before God had ever created the world, He first established for each of us a life that would be most fulfilling to us and pleasing to Him. Imagine that, if you will! Our Lord knows all—there is nothing that He must wait and learn about us and nothing He needs to prepare for. He has taken care of everything in advance. This wonderful truth ought to instill within us confidence and boldness.
Now that you and I are followers of Jesus Christ, our goal must be to find out what the Lord has for us to do in this life. He has things for you to be involved in—ministries divinely created just for you.
The course is before you. You only need to follow it.
Psalm 37:23 tells us that it is the Lord who orders our lives, which means we should view everything as an opportunity for our personal development and an open door to serve others. Challenging situations will arise, but we must go forward knowing God will use them. Even when all appears at odds with the task God has given, you can be confident He will make a way.
What is God calling you to do for His kingdom? How would He like to use you today in the body of Christ? Why? Because “…we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” The course is before you. You only need to follow it.
