Hungary Stands In Stark Contrast, Upholding Biblical Values In A Europe Spiraling Under Globalist Policies

Daniel Cohen

(Budapest, Hungary) — Matthew 25 describes the separation of “the sheep from the goats.” It is a judgment against the nations.

Budapest, in the nation of Hungary, has positioned itself today as one of the sheep, standing up boldly for Biblical principles. Most of Europe, on the other hand, has stood as goats, going starkly against the God of the Bible.

London, Paris, and Berlin are collapsing from the poison of radical Islam. With riots calling for “Intifada,” “Free Palestine,” and “From The River To The Sea,” these European cities are spiraling out of control. Hungary, meanwhile, stands untouched.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, dubbed “the European Trump,” has built something extraordinary: a nation adhering to godly values, refusing to bow to globalist bureaucrats. The Hungarian people have re-elected him in four straight victories because he’s a leader with backbone.

Walk through Budapest today, and you’ll find something extremely rare in European capitals: safety. Families live without fear. Children play freely. Women feel secure. There are no pro-Hamas mass protesters. There are no jihadi attacks. Why? Because Orbán had the courage to build strong borders.

When the world called him “racist” for his stance, he defended Hungarian sovereignty. Brussels demanded unlimited migration; he said no to EU migrant quotas and yes to protecting his people. While Britain arrests citizens for “mean tweets,” it allows extremists to march through London calling for jihad. Hungarian cities, on the other hand, remain peaceful and prosperous.

Orbán understands what most of Europe has forgotten: a nation without borders isn’t a nation, a people without values isn’t a people, and a government that won’t protect its citizens isn’t a government.

And it’s not just security. Hungary under Orbán has become a beacon for Biblical values. Marriage, defined as “one man and one woman,” is enshrined in the Constitution. Orbán has positioned Hungary as the “anti-woke” alternative in Europe. The Prime Minister rejected attempts from the EU to force its radical LGBTQ nonsense into Hungarian schools.

Hungary also doesn’t apologize for its Christian heritage; they celebrate it, honoring their past, unlike other countries that tear down statues and rewrite history.

A prime example of the stark contrast of Hungary was showcased when the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel defending itself from Hamas. France’s weak leader, Emmanuel Macron, said he would arrest Netanyahu. Germany sent mixed signals. The Netherlands lectured. Orbán invited Netanyahu to Budapest and announced that Hungary is leaving the ICC.

In April, Orbán rolled out the red carpet for Netanyahu in Budapest, including full military honors, a state dinner, and an array of Israeli flags lining the bridges across the Danube River. That’s courage!

The lesson for America and the West is that courage works. When you stand up for your people against globalist bullies, you win.

In-Depth: Safeguarding Freedom—A Biblical Model For Defending Our Civic And Religious Rights

Since religious freedom has been a hot-button social issue and is more and more frequently covered in secular and Christian news media outlets, we sometimes are asked these questions. Does the Bible address religious freedom, and, if so, what does it say and where? The Apostle Paul (and his traveling companions on various mission trips) is perhaps the most notable example of a biblical figure who suffered religious persecution and also on occasion stood up for his religious liberty. It is interesting that Paul did so in a government that had some similarities to Western nations.

There Is No Middle Ground With Christ—If You Aren’t For Jesus, You’re Against Him

As an evangelist, I take sharing the Word of God and the hope of Jesus Christ very seriously. The way I look at it, eternity is at stake every time I stand up at the podium. When eternity is on the line—the difference between Heaven and Hell—I don’t pull punches. People need to know that both are real, literal places, and surrendering one’s life to Jesus is the difference. There is no middle ground with Christ. If you aren’t for Jesus, you’re against Him.

Jan Markell: You Can’t Have A Genuine Revival With False Doctrine Raging

I hear a dozen evangelists stating that we are on the verge of a great revival. One self-proclaimed prophet says that a billion souls will come to faith in the coming weeks and months. If my Rapture is imminent, how can there be an imminent revival? Which is it? The Bible does talk about a coming revival. The question concerns its timing. Is it in the coming days, or is it after the Rapture when the “left behind” world realizes they should have listened to believers like you and me, get a second chance, and multitudes come to faith?
