‘Hath God Said?’: Many Churches Have Fallen For Satan’s Oldest Tactic

Many have heard or used the adage; โ€œIf it ainโ€™t broke, donโ€™t fix it.โ€ The point being, if something is working, leave it alone. This is exactly what Satan has done through the centuries. His efforts in the garden worked with Eve, and he still employs the same tactic today.

Satan has been convincing people that what God says is not true ever since there were only two people in existence. It worked then and it still works now. Only now he has his agents to incorporate into his strategy; ones whom the Bible says will grow worse and worse as time progresses in their efforts to deceive (2 Timothy 3:13). This is consistent with what Jesus told Peter, Andrew, James, and John when they asked about the signs of His coming and the end of the age.

This is the warning Jesus issued as He opened the last message He would give before His betrayal and arrest two days later. At the Last Supper, He would give one of the great promises of scripture that He would come again and receive us unto Himself. But the Olivet Discourse would be His final sermon during His time on earth.

Paul offered a similar warning in the last chapter of his last epistle written before he would be executed by Caesar Nero for his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

When someone is about to depart from this world, their last words would certainly be worth our undivided attention. This is especially true for us, as Jesus and Paul were both referring to the days in which we now live. This is a time when imposters and deceivers have grown worse than ever, and churches, in many cases, have become places where fables have replaced the line upon line teaching of the sound doctrines of the word of God.

The only conclusion we can draw is that time is short, the hour is late, and Jesus is coming for us soon. We have precious little time left to tell others about our Savior. Tell someone about him today!

‘Our Rights Come From God, Not Government’: Arkansas Leads The Nation In Protecting Religious Freedom

First Libertyโ€™s Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy has released its fifth annualย Religious Liberty in the States (RLS) index. Arkansasย reachedย a religious safeguard score of 89.7% and Tennessee an 85%, placing them in the โ€œexcellentโ€ rating category. No other states in past reports have scored above the 80% โ€œexcellentโ€ mark. Arkansas also placed first in the study for the first time. At the state capitol, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the studyโ€™s results.ย  โ€œReligious liberty is Americaโ€™s First Freedom, and Arkansas is leading the nation in protecting it,โ€ Sandersย said. โ€œOur rights come from God, not government, and every American should be free to live according to their faith and conscience. Weโ€™ll continue defending that freedom and ensuring the Natural State remains the best place in the country to live, work, and worship.โ€

Evolution Not Only Distorts The Pastโ€”It Makes Wildly False Predictions About The Future

Evolutionย tries to explain everything because itโ€™s part of the religion of naturalism. Without an explanation for life and the universe apart fromย God, there is no naturalism, so they must haveย evolutionย and must use it to explain everything. But itโ€™s the wrong worldviewโ€”and itโ€™s hopeless, purposeless, and meaningless, ending in nothing but death.

Called Out From The Culture: The Hope For America Is The Church

I believe that the hope for America is the churchโ€”God working through his church. Christians need to live up to their name. As Christ followers, we need to be Christlike. And if the church would be what it was meant to be, then it would change our nation. But letโ€™s localize it. If your church would be what it ought to be, it could change your city. It could change your county, and it could change your state. Letโ€™s localize it even more. If you would be what you ought to be as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a part of the church, then what a difference it could make in your church.
