‘Disgrace To Any Democracy’: EU MPs Blast Trudeau For Trampling On Freedom, ‘Spare Us Your Presence!’

It seems Prime Minister Justin Trudeau isn’t welcome by some members of the European Parliament.

During a plenary session of parliament Wednesday in Brussels, several MEPs called Trudeau out, accusing him of violating human rights over the handling of the Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa last month.

In one speech that has gone viral online, MEP Mislav Kolakusic of Croatia criticized Canada’s leader, stating, “There are those among us who trample on those fundamental values,” a reference to some protesters’ controversial encounter with police horses near Parliament Hill.

“For many of us are fundamental human rights for which millions of citizens of Europe and the world have laid down their lives,” Kolakusic said in front of Trudeau, who had addressed parliament.

“To defend our rights and the rights of our children, which we have acquired over the centuries, many of us, including myself, are willing to risk, our freedom and our own lives.”

Kolakusic said Canada was once a symbol of the modern world but in recent months has become a “symbol of civil rights violation” under Trudeau’s “quasi-liberal boot.”

“We watched how you trample women with horses, how you block bank accounts of single parents so they can’t even pay their children’s education and medicine, that they can’t pay utilities, mortgages for their homes,” said Kolakusic. “To you, these may be liberal methods, for many citizens of the world, it is a dictatorship of the worst kind.”

Kolakusic said united citizens of the world “can stop a regime that wants to destroy the freedom of citizens, either by bombs or harmful pharmaceutical products.”

Other MEPs shared similar sentiments towards Trudeau.

MEP Christine Anderson of Belgium said Trudeau shouldn’t be allowed to speak to the European Parliament over the handling of the Freedom Convoy, calling him a “disgrace for any democracy.”

“A prime minister who openly admires the Chinese basic dictatorship, who tramples on fundamental rights by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists just because they dared to stand up to his perverted concept of democracy should not be allowed to speak in this house at all,” said Anderson.

Another MEP, Cristian Terhes of Romania, refused to attend the meeting because of Trudeau. In a Facebook post, Terhes said Trudeau can’t come and “teach democracy lessons to Putin from the European Parliament when you trample with horse hooves your own citizens who are demanding their fundamental rights be respected.

“The difference between democracy and tyranny is not determined by the geographical location of political leaders, but by the values they promote,” said Terhes.

German MEP Bernhard Zimniok also blasted Trudeau, stating he valued democracy highly and welcoming Trudeau is “an invitation to someone who has been trampling on democratic rights.”

Zimniok said Trudeau has been “cracking down on people who protested against disproportionate corona measures, people who were supporting a non-sanctioned movement coming under criticism.”

“Clearly the values of democracy are being despised by this individual,” he said. “Let us not give someone like this any speaking time in this house of democracy.”

Many may be unaware that Canada’s Constitution, the Canadian Charter Of Rights And Freedoms, begins with the words: “Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law.”

Brian Peckford, the last living signatory to the Charter, underscored that the entire document is intended to be prefaced through its opening words. In an interview with Professor Jordan B. Peterson, Peckford explained that the acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty is forefront in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

“What Everybody ignores is this, that the Charter doesn’t begin with section one,” he explained. “It begins with a tiny preamble of one sentence: ‘Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law'”

“After that sentence, it’s not a period. It’s not a semicolon or a comma. There’s a colon which says everything follows after this,” he underscored. “That’s another area where the courts and their governments are falling down on the job is that they’re supposed to consider everything in the Charter in light of two principles: the supremacy of God and the rule of law. Somehow that which is a key part of opening the constitution, the introduction of the constitution, has been missing.”

Unfortunately, under the leadership of Justin Trudeau, both God and the Law have been increasingly disregarded.

As noted by Author and Stand Up For The Truth Host, David Fiorazo, the original Canadian national anthem, read: “Ruler Supreme, Who hearest humble prayer, Hold our dominion within Thy loving care. Help us to find, O God, in Thee A lasting, rich reward, As waiting for the Better Day, We ever stand on guard.”

Even with its “woke” new “gender-neutral” language update in 2018, the current anthem still acknowledges God with its lyric: “God keep our land glorious and free.”

“A few changes may be in order to lyrics for O Canada!” Fiorazo suggested. “Why? Its leadership and power elites have abandoned God, reason, truth, and freedom. Oddly enough, the song refers to God as ‘Ruler Supreme,’ and includes phrases such as, ‘True North, strong and free…’ Not anymore, especially under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s power-grabbing, globalist regime.”

“How did he become so radical? Nine years ago at a ladies night event, Justin Trudeau clearly indicated his allegiance and radical leftist, freedom-snuffing ideas when he openly declared: ‘There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China; Because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say we need to go greenest fastest…'” Fiorazo explained.

“Remove God and Jesus, the Truth; the Biblical worldview as well as any fixed moral absolutes, and this is what we now see in governments around the world hoping to usher in godless globalism, also known as a New World Order. It’s coming. And it’s all prophetic,” he continued. “Always remember Jesus liberates and saves; burdensome government enslaves. The only lasting answer is the gospel of peace.”

‘No Israel’ Without Trump?: Mr. President, God Isn’t Looking For A Partner To Share His Glory

“Tell you what, if there wasn't me, there would be no Israel right now”… Those were the words of President Trump in an interview on Wednesday. Very respectfully, I want to say to the President of the United States: Mr. Trump, you're wrong. Trump has been the best friend that Israel has ever had in the White House—and I say that with no asterisk. But Israel doesn't exist because of any man.

Shifting Public Opinion: The Appeal Of Pride Month Appears To Be Fading

For years, June brought a predictable wave of corporate logos, advertising campaigns, themed merchandise, and public celebrations. Parents learned to pay closer attention to commercials in family programming, sports fans grew accustomed to Pride-themed uniforms and promotions, and many city streets became venues for often indecent displays at Pride parades. This year is noticeably different. The symbols are not gone, but they are far less prominent. It’s premature to say Pride has fallen, but it is fair to say the appeal of Pride Month has faded.

Jan Markell: Is Israel’s Spiritual Blindness A Reason For Christians To Reject Them?

Ezekiel 36 emphasizes that when the Jews return to the land, they will do so in unbelief. There will be spiritual regeneration much later! The dry bones of Ezekiel 37 reflect a lack of breath or spiritual life. God states he is gathering them back “not for your sake but for my holy name’s sake,” because their presence among the nations caused his name to be profaned. Ezekiel 36 promises that once back in the land, God will cleanse them, give them a new spirit, and cause them to walk in his statutes. But much later.
