As Lessons Of History Are Ignored, It Has Never Been More Important For America To Remember The Consequences Of Deadly Ideologies

It is a word used over and over again in the Bible: “remember.” At least 172 times throughout the Old and New Testaments, God calls on His people to remember all the great things He has done and the blessings He has given them. He also calls His people to remember the times when they did not obey Him, when they veered off course, became complacent, turned away from Him, and faced horrible consequences as a result.

We are at a point in history, in America and throughout Western civilization, where it has never been more important to heed that Biblical call to “remember.” Across the Western world, we’re seeing lessons from history ignored.

Look at New York City. Just 25 years after Islamic jihadists carried out the worst terrorist attack in American history, the people of New York elected a pro-Hamas, antisemitic Islamist as mayor. It was foreign-born residents, many of them Islamic, who propelled Zohran Mamdani to victory.

Clearly, the people who inhabit NYC today did not remember the events of 9-11—many of them probably were not even living in this country at the time!

Thanks largely to mass migration, an Islamo-Communist now leads our largest city and financial capital. Mamdani manages to combine the two most deadly ideologies in history—Islamism and Communism—which together have killed countless millions of people.

Communism alone claimed over 100 million victims in the 20th century in places like Mao’s China and the Soviet Union. Yet, the young Americans who have turned out in recent months to vote for Socialists and outright Communists in places like New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C., don’t seem to remember any of this.

What do you expect after years of indoctrination under Marxist professors at American universities, not to mention our woke public school system? An entire generation of young people has learned that Socialism is good, and that capitalist America is a greedy, racist, imperialist hellhole that represents all that’s wrong with the world. And “terrible Israel,” too, of course. Can’t forget them. After all, you can’t have faith, family, and freedom when you’re obsessed with freeing a place called “Palestine” that doesn’t even exist!

Remember when Americans could put aside their differences and come together to celebrate July 4th? Well, we are about to celebrate America’s 250th birthday as a nation, and the Trump administration is holding a Great American State Fair on the National Mall. It’s a nonpartisan patriotic event designed to bring the country together, yet several Democrats are refusing to participate. Why? Because, well, Trump is president.

They truly don’t remember what made America great in the first place, nor do they seem to care.

Folks, to get an idea of where this all leads—communism, the rise of Islam, mass migration, a loss of national identity—look no further than Great Britain, which just announced that King Charles is no longer the defender of the faith, Christianity. He now instead protects the space for faith within the multi-faith nation. This is Britain in 2026.

Thankfully, there are many Americans who do still remember, and they are doing everything they can to preserve our way of life—despite the barbarians inside the gates. Great things are happening in our country, but we need to remember that there are threats to our way of life, both at home and abroad, that must be confronted.

Political Division, Persecution, And War: How Bible Prophecy Changes Our Perspective On World Affairs

As history hurtles toward the Last Days, we find ourselves trying to navigate through an increasingly hostile world. Politics are dividing our country and even our churches. People are becoming more cold-hearted, selfish, and angry. We are experiencing a breakdown that feels irreversible. Our problems do not have simple solutions, but we can find guidance in Scripture.

It Is A Serious Misjudgment For The Modern Church To Disregard What God Has To Say About The Future

The study of “last things” (eschatology) seems to have fallen out of favor in many corners of the modern church. With a dismissive reference to no one knowing the day or hour of Christ’s return, many Christians assume that studying eschatology is not something most churches, or even individual Christians, really need to take seriously. I repeatedly hear students in my classes claim that Scripture is too unclear on the details or timing of the Rapture, or whether Christians will go through the Tribulation, or the nature of the Millennial Kingdom, to make studying these things worth their time. Is studying eschatology largely irrelevant to our walk with God?

Michele Bachmann’s Advice To The President: ‘Take The Handcuffs Off Of Israel’

Michele Bachmann, a former congresswoman, 2012 Presidential Candidate, and outspoken friend of the Jewish State, advised the President to “take the handcuffs off of Israel” and enable the nation to handle its own self-defense unencumbered. On the premiere episode of “Falling Into Place” alongside co-host Jan Markell, Bachmann noted that Israel is being strong-armed into absorbing attacks on its nation—something that the United States, if it were in the same position, would never deem acceptable.
