Opponents of Prime Minister Netanyahu have been desperately attempting to smear the PM prior to the upcoming elections at the end of October.
The latest slander came in the form of an allegation that came through the newspaper Haaretz that UAE President Mohammad bin Zayed warned the PM of the October 7 massacre prior to it taking place.
Netanyahu immediately denied the allegation and his party, Likud, opened an investigation into the defamation. Now, they say they have discovered the culprit, aย UAE-based Palestinian politician named Mohammad Dahlan. The evidence is substantial and the conspiracy goes deep, reaching even to leading left-wing Israeli politicians. The attached article is an important read to fully understand the attack. This will be a situation that bears following in the days ahead.
The United States and Israel Urge the People of Iran On
Both President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu took an opportunityย to encourage the Iranian people to overthrowย the ruling Islamic regime. โThe regime is getting weaker and weaker by the day, and at some point theyโre not going to be able to shoot so easily because I think the people arenโt going to take it,โ said Trump from the White House. But, itโs not just those outside the Islamic Regime who see that huge cracks have formed.
According to sources close to Parliament Speaker Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, he describesย Iranโs situation as desperate.ย The leadership misjudged the resolve of President Trump, and they see how the shambled state of the current government is stirring up the tenacity of the people. The main concern that many Iranian citizens may have is whether the words that come from the West have any backing. Up to now, the support theyโve received appears to be more talk than practical aid.
Iran Sends Missile Barrage to Jordan
On Tuesday night, the country ofย Jordan saw twenty missiles firedย toward it from Iran. Eighteen were intercepted, while two fell to the ground away from populated areas. Iran claims that they sent the missiles as a result of the U.S. military destroying five of their oil tankers. The relationship between Washington and Amman has put Jordan in the crosshairs of Iranโs missile launchers.
Houthis Launch Broad Attack on Saudi Arabia
Tehran has their proxies firing missiles, also. The same day they attacked Jordan, the Houthis of Yemen launchedย a major missile and drone attack on Saudi Arabia.ย Targeted were Abha Airport, Aramco fuel terminal, King Khalid Air Base, Jizan refinery, and the fuel terminal in Najran. At least 73 were injured in the attacks.
Does anyone remember theย Mecca Joint Defence Agreement,ย signed a month and a day prior to the attack in which Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan all agreed that an attack on one nation was an attack on them all. Howโs that working out for you, Saudi Arabia?
Britainโs Reset with Israel
United Kingdom Foreign Minister Ed Miliband is preparing to announceย a โresetโ of relations with Israel.ย By โresetโ he means a fresh list of punishments regarding the West Bank. Amongst other things, there will be new sanctions on products from Judea and Samaria, because apparently the UK has been going too easy on Israel.
What the pols in Britain are forgetting is the symbiotic relationship between the UK and Israel, particularly when it comes to intelligence. For instance, it was only a decade or so ago that the Mossad informed MI5 that there was a stockpile of 3.5 metric tons of ammonium nitrate being stashed away by Hezbollah in London in preparation for a massive attack.
The Burnham government needs to remember that security and respect go hand-in-hand, and they are a two-way street. Already, Israel has announced some minor retaliatory sanctions, but it is the unspoken connections that are most critical.

Israelโs Economy Remains Strong
Despite having been in a hot and cold war for several years,ย Israelโs economy is holding strongย and even improving in many areas. Compared to Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Yemen, and others that have been economically collapsing as they fight, Israel is a true anomaly of success.
Turkish Lira in Freefall
Speaking of collapsing economies, letโs check in with Turkey. When Erdogan became president in 2014, it took 2.16 lira to equal a dollar. Now that number isย 48 lira for each dollar.ย Thatโs a 95% loss of value. Well done, Mr. President.
