A New Year, A New Word Of Encouragement And Warning

Since the dawn of history, human society was producing eras of chaos and confusion. Much of this was due to the increase of pagan and/or secular agendas. When I say pagan, I include the monotheistic religions as well. A quick look at Isaiah chapter 1 can be enough to understand what God really thinks of any religion.

The notion that religion is the answer to the world’s problems was proven wrong time and again. If anything, many of the most bloody wars in our history started with a religious cause.

2022 was one of the most chaotic years, and, if I may be honest and frank with you all, I expect 2023 to be even worse. The first major war in Europe since World War II is leading to an energy crisis that is leading to political and economic chaos that is leading to despair, rage, anger, and protest.

What does the Bible say about all of this? Well, bible prophecy is not about nations and their affairs with one another, but rather about the nations and their relations with Israel.

Deuteronomy 32:8 KJV – “When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.”

In other words, apart from the global trends described by Jesus in Luke 21 as part of the end times – trends such as deception, wars, and natural disasters, along with the human deterioration described by Paul’s letters to Timothy – we must watch and see what is going on with the nations and Israel.

Israel’s new government is not going to stop the formation of the ever-strong alliance between Russia and Iran, nor the Turkish leader’s dislike of the Jewish state. The new government will not stop the Israeli public’s sway towards liberalism. However, it will reflect the desire to remain with Jewish identity.

Think about it – the rise of the antichrist will appeal to these two things: Let’s be modern and liberal. Let’s keep our Jewish identity. This is exactly why the third temple will be part of his future peace deal. He represents the world’s liberal agenda on one hand, but will also satisfy the longing for a Jewish temple in Jerusalem on the other.

As 2023 [arrives], I want to write a word of encouragement and warning. Encouragement regarding the validity, accuracy, and authenticity of the Bible and how all the promises regarding His soon return to take us are to be shortly fulfilled. Warning to stay away from sensationalism, clickbait videos, and other sources of confusion, intimidation, and deception.

Where The Church Stands On Israel And Its Future Is Much More Than A Simple Theological Disagreement

What we believe about Israel and its future is of utmost importance. No church is neutral on the matter of Israel’s place in Bible prophecy. Many pastors say that such matters pertaining to the end times are of lesser significance than other more weighty matters of the faith. In my experience, however, they are the most aggressive in promoting the church as the new Israel and the least tolerant of those who disagree with them on this topic. Even so, some might ask, “What’s the big deal?”

Unadulterated Antisemitism: Zohran Mamdani And The Heightened Danger Jewish New Yorkers Face

From lox and bagels to Broadway to the sitcom Seinfeld, the Jewish people and New York City go hand in hand. The nation’s most populous metropolis is home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel: 1.4 million. But since the November 2025 election of the city’s new anti-Zionist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, many Jewish New Yorkers are wondering if “home” will have to be someplace else. New York City long stood as a goldene medina—a golden land—where God's chosen people could live freely, something rare anywhere else until Israel’s rebirth in 1948. Now, with the city led by a mayor hostile to the Jewish people and their ancestral homeland, recent events portend a troubling future for New York’s Jewish community.
