‘A Massacre & Bloodbath’: Deadly Terror Attack In Central Israel Brings Grief to Nation’s Independence Day

Three Israelis have been killed and four injured in a terrorist attack in the orthodox Israeli city of Elad, leaving sixteen children fatherless.

A Police hunt is currently underway by police for two terrorist suspects, which authorities say are likely West Bank residents.

The attack, which involved an ax and another currently unconfirmed type of weapon, occurred on Thursday, the evening of Israel’s 74th independence day.

According to a neurosurgeon cited by the Times Of Israel, one of the victims, who is 20 years old, was admitted to the hospital with a “severe head injury” and is currently fighting for his life.

One MDA Paramentic, Moti Tsinvert, described the scene of the terror attack, saying that the “incident will be deeply etched [on his] heart.”

“In all my years as an emergency medicine paramedic, I have not encountered such a severe scene of multiple casualties with significant penetrating injuries, residents who went out just to breathe fresh air in the park, and their lives were ended so harshly,” he recounted. “This is a massacre and bloodbath that is reminiscent of dark days in the history of Israel. I hope that I and the rest of the emergency services that dealt with the horrific event will be able to return to routine after the difficult images we saw.”

In response to the terrifying attack, Israeli PM Yair Lapid warned that Israel “will not submit to terror.”

“The joy of Independence Day is cut short in an instant,” Lapid lamented.

“We will not let terrorists scare us. The security forces will catch the murderers and stand them on trial. We will continue to fight together for our independence and the safety of Israeli citizens,” he stated.

The terrorist organization Hamas applauded the attack calling it “a heroic operation” and claiming it resulted from Jewish worshipers visiting the Temple Mount.

The UN envoy, Tor Wennesland, condemned Hamas for praising the appalling terror attack in Elad.

“It is deplorable that Hamas and others continue to glorify and encourage such attacks, which undermine the possibility of a peaceful future for both Palestinians and Israelis. All must condemn violence and stand up to terror,” he said in a statement.

Amir Tsarfati, Founder and President of Behold Israel, wrote:

It’s 2:30 AM, and I find it very hard to sleep only a few hours after two Palestinians armed with an ax and a gun cold bloodily murdered three Orthodox Jews and left widows with so many kids as orphans.

To hear the praises for this murder coming from various Islamic circles makes me sick. This is also a sheer proof that we do NOT worship the same God. My God says in His word:

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

Supporting the killing of the innocents, both outside and/or inside the womb, is not only a cowardly act but is completely against the word of God!

From May 3rd through to the 6th, the IDF closed off the West Bank and Gaza Strip in anticipation of possible attacks during Israel’s Memorial and Independence Day. That precautionary measure came after the Muslim month of Ramadan, during which Palestinian terror attacks killed almost 20 Israelis, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The Eradication Of Israel & Jews Is Hamas’ Goal

Hal Lindsey in his article “What Is Hamas?” explained that “the eradication of Israel” and the Jewish people “is their goal” and the terror organization is not shy in admitting it.

“Hamas is a terror group because terror is the organization’s chief tactic, and violence is its mode of operation,” Lindsey insisted. “Hamas’s violence goes back to its very beginning. The preamble to their charter says, ‘Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it.’”

“The eradication of Israel is their goal,” he underscored. “They don’t just want to win a military victory over Israel or carve out a Palestinian state. Hamas wants nothing less than the destruction of the Jewish people. Genocide is their aim and reason.”

“The Hamas charter depicts Jews using old stereotypes,” he continued. “Article 22 blames the Jews for World Wars I and II, as well as the French and communist revolutions. This illustrates yet again that their hatred is not for Israel alone, but for Jews generally. Article 7 says, ’The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’”

Antisemitism Is A Spiritual Battle

Through Scripture, Christians understand that antisemitism is a problem that is spiritually rooted.

Through the Jewish people, God brought the law, giving His creation an understanding of sin, and subsequently, through the Jewish people, God provided humanity a Savior from that sin, Jesus Christ (Romans 9:4-5, Rom. 7:7, Rom. 10:4, Rom. 3:1-2, Matt. 5:17).

The Jewish people and the nation of Israel are interwoven within God’s plan for all mankind, beginning to end. They are, by God’s mercy, the chosen people used to bring about His perfect will and salvation (Luke 2:25-32). It is for this reason that a battle, which is spiritual in nature, is constantly being waged against Israel and the Jews (Eph. 6:12). Satan detests the people through whom God provided His Son, Jesus Christ, who will ultimately defeat him and his followers (Revelation 20:10).

The re-establishment of Israel is also a particular sore spot for satan and his demons. Thousands of years ago, God promised that Israel would again become a nation under miraculous circumstances (Ezekiel 3637, Isaiah 66:7-8). Not only is this astonishing proof of the Bible’s divine authenticity, but it is also especially important because Jesus told His disciples that when Israel is reborn, one generation would not pass away before His Second coming (Matthew 24:32-34).

We Really Are In A Raging War: University Professor Says He Is Waiting For Me To Die

The evolutionary worldview is a religion, one that’s practiced by those who attack Christianity. They have a nontheistic religion; in fact, evolution fits one of the Merriam-Webster dictionary definitions of religion: “a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith.” The dictionary definition of religion certainly describes the worldview of evolutionary naturalism. The beliefs of evolutionism purport to explain the entire world’s existence by means of evolutionary naturalism, and thus, it is an all-encompassing faith—a religious worldview.

Do Parents Deserve Stronger Constitutional Protection? The High Court Chose Not To Answer

Stoking Violence: The Assassination Culture In America Is Not A Problem Coming From ‘Both Sides Of The Aisle’

The assassination culture we're seeing in America right now is not a problem coming from “both sides of the aisle." Yet this is the claim the mainstream media runs with every time there is an attempt on a conservative's life, and there have been many in recent years. We witnessed it again this past weekend when President Trump was targeted for death yet again by a radical leftist at the White House Correspondents Dinner in DC.
