MSNBC Claims Violent Rioters No Worse Than Pro-Life Conservatives Protesting Lockdown

On Saturday morning, MSNBC weekend anchor Kendis Gibson had difficulty seeing a difference between peaceful anti-lockdown protesters in Michigan and violent protesters in Minnesota who are looting and committing arson โ€” other than a racial difference โ€” as he fretted over President Donald Trump condemning one, but not the other.

Isaiah 5:20-21 KJV – “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”

During a discussion of charges being brought against former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin over his role in the death of George Floyd, Gibson brought up President Trump tweeting support for the right-leaning protesters in Michigan, and then more recently against rioters in Minnesota:

What do you make of the Presidentโ€™s reaction to all of this sort of protests? โ€ฆ  there were two tweets, Rochelle, from the President โ€” one May 1st, one May 29th โ€” the May 1st one where he says the Governor of Michigan โ€œshould give a little and put out the fire.โ€ โ€œThese are very good people, but theyโ€™re angry.โ€ The 29th one, of course, dealing with black folks, โ€œThese thugs are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd. I wonโ€™t let that happen. Just spoke to the governor. The military is on the way.โ€

The obvious difference that the Minnesota rioters are being violent, while demonstrators in Michigan were not, seemed to go completely over his head as he turned to former congressional counsel Rochelle Ritchie and asked: โ€œWhat is the difference here? You had the armed white folks there in Michigan, and you had black folks who werenโ€™t necessarily armed in Minnesota.โ€

A bit earlier, the segment promoted the view that the prosecutor handling the Floyd case was not doing enough in spite of the arguments in favor of proceeding cautiously as Ritchie complained:

I think itโ€™s very upsetting that this chief prosecutor, Mike Freeman, tried to gain brownie points by insulting the Maryland stateโ€™s attorney, Marilyn Mosby in Baltimore City, by bringing up the Freddie Gray case. First of all, when he announced the charge of murder and manslaughter, he said it as if he was supposed to get a round of applause, but it was not until a reporter asked him what degree of murder that he said โ€œthird degreeโ€ because he feared it was a weak charge. So he tried to play off of the ignorance of people who donโ€™t know the law and pacify us with these very weak and insulting charges of the murder for George Floyd.

If the liberal media are hoping more prosecutors act like Mosby did, perhaps they should remember how the cases against the officers in the Freddy Gray case ended.

Neither anchor pointed out that it is true that some prosecutions of police officers have failed to secure convictions because prosecutors went overboard by pursuing more serious murder charges that were more difficult to prove.

Gibson further tried to undermine the prosecutor, Mike Freeman โ€” notably a Democrat โ€” as the MSNBC host followed up:

And he also tried to do a little bit of celebration the previous day saying heโ€™s the only prosecutor who has prosecuted a police officer for shooting somebody that was an Australian white woman โ€” the cop was a black cop, but that was a whole other matter. But he didnโ€™t point out those details.

It was not mentioned that Freeman had Officer Chauvin arrested much more quickly than Officer Mohamed Noor who was arrested eight months later.

Later in the hour, MSNBC contributor Katie Phang did eventually point out that Freeman can decide to pursue more serious charges later against Chauvin after taking more time to study the evidence, so thereโ€™s no practical need to rush the case and risk botching it.

Days Of Lot: Largest Ever Middle East ‘Pride’ Festival To Be Held In The Same Location As Sodom And Gomorrah

Organizers plan to construct a temporary โ€œPride City,โ€ complete with hotels, beach venues, performances, and continuous entertainment designed to operate day and night. To the natural eye, this is simply another cultural event. But to the spiritually discerning, the location is not incidental, it is prophetic. The Dead Sea region is the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah, five cities destroyed by God due to their persistent rebellion and moral corruption (Genesis 19).

‘Unprecedented’: The Non-Stop Flood Of Abortion Drugs To Pro-life States Continues To Confound Americans

The whole point of the Dobbs ruling was to return the question of abortion to the states. Dozens of them acted immediately, passing strong protections for the unborn and women. But now, thanks to Biden โ€” and now, the Trump administrationโ€™s indifference โ€” those democratically-enacted laws have been tossed aside, unconstitutionally.

We Really Are In A Raging War: University Professor Says He Is Waiting For Me To Die

The evolutionary worldview is a religion, one thatโ€™s practiced by those who attack Christianity. They have a nontheistic religion; in fact, evolution fits one of the Merriam-Webster dictionary definitions ofย religion: โ€œa cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith.โ€ The dictionary definition of religion certainly describes the worldview of evolutionary naturalism.
