‘Unconscionable Overreach Of Legislative Powers’: Bill Seeks To Penalize Unvaccinated With Monthly Fines, Doubled Taxes

A radical Rhode Island Senate Bill seeks to require residents to be both vaccinated and boosted under the penalty of monthly fines and increased taxes.

If passed, S.B. 2552, which was introduced by Democrat Senator Samuel W. Bell, will mandate residents to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and “require any additional immunizations against COVID-19 as may become available.”

Failure to comply will be penalized with a $50 monthly fine per person and result in the violator owing “twice the amount of personal income taxes.”

Particularly troubling, under the bill, parents of children aged 15 and younger will be responsible for “ensuring [their] compliance” and will be additionally penalized for deciding against having their kids vaccinated.

Furthermore, in another blow to parents’ rights and God-given authority, under S.B. 2552, a child over the age of 10 will need to sign off on their consent not to receive the vaccine if the parents or guardians seek a medical exemption for them. This is especially concerning considering the overwhelming pressure placed on children in schools to be in favor of COVID vaccination.

The bill’s requirement regarding children comes in stark contrast to the medical recommendation of thousands of physicians who have warned against injecting children with the COVID vaccines.

As of January 2022, 17,000 doctors have signed a declaration stating that healthy children should “not be subject to forced vaccination.”

“Negligible clinical risks from SARS-CoV-2 infection exist for healthy children under eighteen,” the declaration stressed. “Long term safety of the current COVID vaccines in children cannot be determined prior to instituting such policies. Without high-powered, reproducible, long term safety data, risks to the long-term health status of children remain too high to support use in healthy children.”

“Children risk severe, adverse events from receiving the vaccine,” it continued. “Permanent physical damage to the brain, heart, immune and reproductive system associated with SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-based genetic vaccines has been demonstrated in children.”

The declaration was notably signed by Dr. Peter McCullough, the most highly cited physician on the early treatment of COVID-19, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a well-known Hong Kong virologist, and Dr. Robert W. Malone, the architect of the mRNA vaccine.

“It is clear that parents should think twice about vaccinating their child,” Dr. Malone stated in late January, adding that the adverse side effects recorded have been severe. “The question is, do you want to take that chance with your child? Because if you draw the short straw and your child was damaged, most of these things, if not all of them, are irreversible. There is no way to fix it.”

Think twice before you vaccinate your kids,” the doctor reiterated.

The bill, S.B. 2552, additionally makes no allowances for a religious exemption, stipulating that any “exemption must be for medical reasons” and must be notarized and signed by three physicians. Even then, the bill includes a caveat that “the department shall have the power to investigate the petition of exemption” and may reject it if it “finds that sufficient grounds of medical reasons for exemption.”

The fact that religious exemptions are excluded caused one Senator in the state to point out Rhode Island’s history with regard to religious freedom.

“It’s amazing that a state senator from Rhode Island, a state that was founded on personal and religious liberty, would impose a special tax on people for exercising their religious or conscientious belief, especially at a time when families are experiencing inflation and rising prices,” Republican State Sen. Jessica de la Cruz told the Daily Caller.

“I hear my constituents and others around the state loud and clear — this is dangerous legislation and sends the message that our government doesn’t trust you to make the right choice for you and your family,” she explained in a statement. “This is an unconscionable overreach of legislative powers.”

Author and Stand Up For The Truth Radio Host David Fiorazo recently discussed the vaccine overreach perpetrated by the Biden Administration and individual states, which he says focuses more on compliance than informed decision making.

“Comply, obey, and surrender; take government-endorsed shots – or pay a price. This regardless of the fact there is extensive, documented evidence that people have died and are dying from vaccines and well over a million now have reported adverse complications according to the site, open vaers,” Fiorazo noted.

“What role if any does government play in our private health care for ourselves and our families? What is the responsibility of individual citizens when it comes to contagious symptoms or diseases?” he questioned. “Many of us hope the leftist media, global socialists, and power elites can only suppress the truth for so long until, little by little, more facts emerge. As time goes on, questions will persist about how to respond to the panic-demic as well as actual, unreported, accurate numbers and facts.”

“One thing is certain,” Fiorazo added, “we need to trust in the one true God rather than a secular government consisting of agenda-driven, sinful men and women.”

When The Gospel Is Criminalised, Who Suffers The Consequences?

When the gospel is criminalised and silenced in public, those who pay the price are the ones who need this hope the most. Silencing the gospel doesn’t protect people from offence – it just builds yet another barrier to people finding the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ. In trying to ‘protect the public’ from ‘religious messaging’, our authorities are actually further trapping them in a web of sin and hopelessness while withholding the only solution.
