Hezbollah Chief Says Terror Group Has 100K Fighters; ‘Region Has Never Seen Hezbollah As Strong As It Is Now’

Lashing out against the country’s Christian Lebanese Forces (LF) party and its head Samir Geagea, Hezbollah Chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah repeated accusations that they were responsible for the killing of 7 Shi’ite Muslims last Thursday.

“The real agenda of the Lebanese Forces is civil war,” charged Nasrallah during a televised speech broadcast live from an unknown location.

He then went on to showcase Hezbollah’s power in statements directed at LF Head Geagea.

“Who are you trying to get into civil war, who are you trying to drag to civil strive with 100,000?” Nasrallah demanded, adding, “The region has never seen Hezbollah as strong as it is now.

Nasrallah, who maintained that his Iranian proxy army that has also become one of the most powerful players in Lebanese politics, is aimed at defending Lebanon from external enemies.

Insisting that Hezbollah is not an enemy of Lebanese Christians, he declared “the biggest threat to the Christian presence in Lebanon is the Lebanese Forces party and its head.”

Evoked memories of the 1975-1990 civil war, the bloodshed escalated concerns in the heavily-armed country already overwhelmed by a devastating economic meltdown.

The LF has adamantly denied responsibility for the clashes – which it blames on Hezbollah “incitement” against Tarek Bitar, the lead investigator of the probe into last year’s deadly Beirut Port explosion. Inquiry of the 4 August 2020 blast, which killed more than 200 people and devastated enormous areas of the Lebanese capital, has made little headway amid pushback from political factions, including Hezbollah.

The 7 protestors were shot and killed while heading to a demonstration against Bitar called by Hezbollah and it’s Shi’ite Amal Movement ally.

Moreover, the LF has accused Hezbollah of deliberately deploying its supporters into the Christian neighborhood of Ain el-Remmaneh where 4 four residents were wounded before a shot was fired.

After admitting that some of the Hezbollah marchers may have shouted provocative slogans as they approached the Christian area and that it was wrong, Nasrallah then reiterated his objection to investigation of the port blast probe – which he proclaimed was biased and would lead to neither truth or justice.

Amal leader Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, one of the most powerful political figures in the country, urged the authorities to arrest all those responsible for the violence. Amal also previously proclaimed that the Beirut violence was intended to reignite internal strife and threaten peace.

Heavy celebratory gunfire erupted in Beirut’s southern suburb of Dahiya, a Hezbollah stronghold, following Nasrallah’s televised speech.

‘Our Rights Come From God, Not Government’: Arkansas Leads The Nation In Protecting Religious Freedom

First Liberty’s Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy has released its fifth annual Religious Liberty in the States (RLS) index. Arkansas reached a religious safeguard score of 89.7% and Tennessee an 85%, placing them in the “excellent” rating category. No other states in past reports have scored above the 80% “excellent” mark. Arkansas also placed first in the study for the first time. At the state capitol, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the study’s results.  “Religious liberty is America’s First Freedom, and Arkansas is leading the nation in protecting it,” Sanders said. “Our rights come from God, not government, and every American should be free to live according to their faith and conscience. We’ll continue defending that freedom and ensuring the Natural State remains the best place in the country to live, work, and worship.”

Moral Corruption: Our World Has Grown Accustomed To Embracing Lies

We live in a time when the level of mental straying from long-held and obvious truths tells us we are near the end of the church age and approaching the tribulation. We have become familiar with new terms being invented to accommodate the beliefs of a deluded world. Gender dysphoria is one of those terms. This refers to the condition of feeling one’s emotional and psychological identity as male or female is the opposite of one’s biological sex. The key word here is feelings; the individual’s gender is determined by their feelings and not the facts of genetics and biology. This indicates a mental straying from what is actually true. In other words, you can use orange spray paint on an apple and try calling it an orange, but it won’t change it from being an apple.

Called Out From The Culture: The Hope For America Is The Church

I believe that the hope for America is the church—God working through his church. Christians need to live up to their name. As Christ followers, we need to be Christlike. And if the church would be what it was meant to be, then it would change our nation. But let’s localize it. If your church would be what it ought to be, it could change your city. It could change your county, and it could change your state. Let’s localize it even more. If you would be what you ought to be as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a part of the church, then what a difference it could make in your church.
