Xi’s Mao-Esque Speech Warns Nations of ‘Broken Heads’ If They Oppose China

The Chinese communist regime is moving aggressively to expand its influence abroad, while issuing unveiled threats to other countries that might think of trying to stop it – as the U.S. is trying to rally allies to push back against the regime’s expansionist efforts.

“The Chinese people will absolutely not allow any foreign force to bully, oppress or enslave us and anyone who attempts to do so will face broken heads and bloodshed in front of the iron Great Wall of the 1.4 billion Chinese people,” President Xi Jinping said this week as he marked the 100 year anniversary of the party’s founding.

Xi has overseen a regime that has cemented power at home and has been cracking down on dissent and other groups that the regime sees as undesirable, while pushing its influence abroad.

China has been accused of engaging in systematic human rights abuses, including forced sterilizations and forced labor in “re-education camps.” The human rights abuses have provoked international outcry and sanctions on officials by the U.S. government.

“The United States and our G7 partners remain deeply concerned by the use of all forms of forced labor in global supply chains, including state-sponsored forced labor of vulnerable groups and minorities and supply chains of the agricultural, solar, and garment sectors — the main supply chains of concern in Xinjiang,” a G-7 statement said last month.

Two Communist Leaders, One Godless Agenda

Some have pointed out Xi Jinping’s speech on Thursday was reminiscent of mass events held by former Chinese communist leader, Mao Zedong. Xi’s remarks were made on the same balcony at Tiananmen Gate on which Mao in 1949 declared the beginning of communist rule. The CCP leader even went as far as to sport a grey buttoned-up suit identical to that which was worn by Mao.

According to AP, Xi’s hour-long speech emphasized the nation’s need to stick to its “one-party rule” and the “communists’ role in lifting China to global prominence.” Adding, the “greatest applauds” came when Xi stated that the CCP “had restored China’s dignity after decades of subjugation to Western powers and Japan.”

Xi Jinping has also throughout his terms, carried similar actions to Mao in his desire to snuff out Christianity from the atheist ruled country.

The Epoch Times, in their article, “Replacing God: The CCP’s Century-Long War Against Faith,” explained that Mao was extraordinarily hostile to religion comparing it to poison and stating in 1954 that it “undermines the race” and “retards the progress of the country.”

Under Xi’s rule, the Communist regime has destroyed churches, removed crosses, and attempted to “patriotize” houses of worship by demanding they remove Christian symbols and replace them with images of himself or Mao.

Harbingers Daily has covered many of the developments regarding the targeting Christianity in China, including the banning of Bibles and the re-writing of Scripture to promote communist compliance.

The Bible says that in the last days, “all who live godly in Christ shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Although one could claim that certain regions are more aggressive toward cracking down on Christians than others, we are currently seeing throughout the globe an increasing hostility toward followers in Jesus Christ, including in North America.

Jesus also explained to His disciples that nearing His return there would be a severe rise in “wars and rumors of wars” (Matthew 24:6). This is on display here, as well, as we hear threats from the communist Chinese leader of “broken heads and bloodshed,” to those that come against them.

Luke 21:28 states that when we see the prophetic signs of the last days begin to happen, we are to “look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Where The Church Stands On Israel And Its Future Is Much More Than A Simple Theological Disagreement

What we believe about Israel and its future is of utmost importance. No church is neutral on the matter of Israel’s place in Bible prophecy. Many pastors say that such matters pertaining to the end times are of lesser significance than other more weighty matters of the faith. In my experience, however, they are the most aggressive in promoting the church as the new Israel and the least tolerant of those who disagree with them on this topic. Even so, some might ask, “What’s the big deal?”

Unadulterated Antisemitism: Zohran Mamdani And The Heightened Danger Jewish New Yorkers Face

From lox and bagels to Broadway to the sitcom Seinfeld, the Jewish people and New York City go hand in hand. The nation’s most populous metropolis is home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel: 1.4 million. But since the November 2025 election of the city’s new anti-Zionist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, many Jewish New Yorkers are wondering if “home” will have to be someplace else. New York City long stood as a goldene medina—a golden land—where God's chosen people could live freely, something rare anywhere else until Israel’s rebirth in 1948. Now, with the city led by a mayor hostile to the Jewish people and their ancestral homeland, recent events portend a troubling future for New York’s Jewish community.
