The Absurdity Of Gender Ideology: NBC News Places Trigger Warning On The Terms ‘Biological Male’ and ‘Biological Female’

Woke knows no limits on crazy. It seems every week brings new examples of how unstable some liberal minds can be. This week did not disappoint.

On June 30th, the morning the United States Supreme Court handed down its landmark decision protecting female high school and college athletes from male intrusion, the NBC News’ TODAY show found it necessary to provide viewers with a trigger warning for why they were using the terms “biological male” and “biological female.”

NBC News anchor Craig Melvin announced, “Just a quick note here, the terms that we’re using here during our reporting – biological male, biological female – the high court put those terms in quotations in their decision and dissent. But just so you know, we’re using those terms from the decision itself, biological male, biological female.”

NBC News is wrong here. The majority mentions “biological sex,” “biological women,” and “biological men” 175 times in their decision and concurrences. Not once do they put those words in quotation marks. They state them for the objective facts that they are. Only liberal Justices Sotomayor and Jackson put “biological sex” in quotes as if they are not actual things.

This marks the gaping chasm in how gender ideologues and normal people see reality. Biological sex is a fact that is unoffensive to anyone who is not tainted by gender ideology.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley commented about this silliness from NBC on X, explaining, “This is how the press becomes a parody of itself.”

It certainly is.

Gender ideology is shot through with the ridiculousness of being scared to speak of male and female as objective biological fact. Just last year, Australian Senator Claire Chandler asked Dr. Anna Cody, Australia’s Sex Discrimination Commissioner, about the nature of biology as it concerns what it means to be a man or a woman.

Dr. Cody responded, “Men, uh, I think we have different language that we are using. I don’t understand the term ‘biological men.’” Cody is a well-educated law school dean who serves the Australian government as the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, and she refuses to use the words “biology” or “biological.”

This is the brain melting poison of gender ideology and NBC News has demonstrated that it is infected with the disease.

No one should ever try to play along with gender ideology, even from a misplaced sense of kindness or silly “pronoun hospitality.” It results in not being able to say what a man or woman is and apologizing for using biologically factual words.

LGBT ideology created and demands this ever-descending level of cultural insanity.

Walt Heyer, who serves as Senior Fellow in the Center for Family Studies at Family Research Council, became a Christian after spending over a decade immersed in the confusion of transgenderism. As a follower of Jesus, Heyer has warned the church against embracing lies that keep individuals trapped in sin.

“As Christians, should we carelessly employ language that dishonors God and reinforces the false idea that men can become women and women can become men? Should we signal acceptance of the false belief that cross-sex hormones and/or surgery accomplish the impossible? Of course not,” he wrote in a recent article (How ‘Trans’ Language Has Amassed Power And Control Over Society… And The Church). “Reinforcing the false concept with our language keeps people stuck rather than showing them the way out.”

“’Gender-affirming care’ and language require the rest of us to profess something we know is not true and bow to the demands of social justice totalitarians,” Heyer stressed. “Scripture assures us that God made us male or female in the womb.”

“As a believer in Jesus Christ, I must choose words that are truthful and align with God’s word,” he emphasized. “This is how we as Christians can unleash the awesome power of our Lord Jesus.”

The Real ‘American Dream’ Of George Washington Was Far More God-Honoring Than Many Have Been Led To Believe

Washington personally read the Bible and quoted the Bible. Those who deny America’s unique Christian roots will claim that many educated people in positions of prominence in the 18th century also quoted from the Bible. However, they also quoted from Greek and Roman authors of antiquity. Washington quoted almost exclusively from the Bible and applied its teachings to his personal life and role as a leader. The real American dream is far more God-honoring than what we have today. The true American patriot is working and praying that Washington’s vision for America will once again claim the hearts of Americans.

Can We Still Ask God To Bless America When So Much Of The Culture Is In Open Opposition To Him?

Christians are under the kingship of Jesus first and foremost, but that does not negate the responsibilities of our earthly citizenship. We can make a difference in our own sphere of influence by being faithful where God gives us opportunities, and if every Christian did that, think how any country would change! We can still pray for God to bless America, but we should specifically pray for God to turn Americans’ hearts back to him and to recognize his authority in all the areas where the culture has increasingly rejected him.

Thomas Jefferson’s ‘Separation Of Church And State’ Never Meant Keeping God Out Of Government

In context, it’s clear this wall of separation was not created to keep religion out of the State. It was simply intended to protect religious freedom and to place boundaries on the State’s control over the Church. In fact, the United States Capitol served as a church building for seven decades and Jefferson himself was a regular attendee. He attended so faithfully that he earned a reserved seat. On the Sunday after he wrote the letter to the Danbury Baptists, he attended church services at the still-under-construction Capitol.
