An EF-2 tornado swept through the Midwest this week, toppling trees and causing extensive damage across central Illinois. Many residents are without power as they attempt to repair their homes and businesses. The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) is deploying to Charleston, Illinois, to provide emotional and spiritual support to those reeling from this disaster.
โIn the aftermath of a tornado, many people are left overwhelmed by loss, uncertainty, and the challenges that come with rebuilding,โ said Josh Holland, vice president of BG-RRT Global. โAs this hurting community begins to pick up the pieces, our chaplains will be there to listen, pray, and offer the hope and comfort that can only be found through a relationship with Jesus Christ.โ
Will you pray with us for the residents who are struggling through this storm? Ask God to surround them with His peace and to guide chaplains to those in desperate need of comfort.
