Are terrorists released from Israeli prisons coming home to millions courtesy of the Palestinian Authority?
The Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) highlighted a recent report from Palestinian Media Watch, which “posted a list of all 734 terrorists scheduled for release from Israeli prisons in the first phase of the hostages-for-ceasefire agreement with Hamas, together with their ‘salaries’โthe dollar amounts each terrorist received from the Palestinian Authority’s so-called Martyrs’ Fund while incarcerated.”
“In total,” JNS underscored, “the terrorists received $141,837,087, or more than half a billion shekels. Of those, 316, or nearly half, received more than a million shekels.”
Itamar Marcus, the founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch, told JNS that this report “signals to Palestinians that these terrorists weren’t working in a vacuum, but were acting in the name of the P.A.”
He further explained that “the wealth places the terrorists in an honored position in Palestinian society, in fact, Palestinian terrorists are the most honored people in Palestinian society.”
“In another society, if a criminal goes to jail for murdering someone, he’s ashamed about it,” Marcus explained. “In the Palestinian Authority, they go around with a crown on their heads.”
JNS further reported that the decree by the Palestinian Authority on Monday “that it has restructured its terrorist payment program has been widely misrepresented asย signalingย the end of its pay-for-slay program.”
Marcus underscored that the PA has no intention of ending its ‘Pay For Slay’ program: โThe full news states that the salaries of the martyrs and printers have not and will not be affected, as all families that previously benefited from the law, regulations and systems will continue to be subject to the same standards.โ
โTranslation: the P.A. continues to fund and reward terrorism,โ he warned.
Let me reiterate: “Palestinian terrorists are the most honored people in Palestinian Society.” Yet, this is who the world is forcing Israel to make peace with. That’s not only wrong, it’s downright disgusting and evil.
Recently, Amir Tsarfati posted a video of Saudi author and media personality Rawaf al-Saeen dropping some facts about Israel and the Palestinians. Al-Saeen called into question the Palestinian claims of ownership over Israel and the Temple Mount, emphasizing that they “have no land and no case.”
“There is no such thing as ‘Al-Aqsa,'” he stressed. “There is only Alquds (Jerusalem). The Al-Aqsa Mosque mentioned in the Quran is located in Ju’arana, 29 km from the city of Tai. There were two mosques there: The Al-Aqsa (the further) and the Al-Adna (the closer). Your Al-Aqsa Mosque was built by Hisham in the year 682 AD. How could Muhammad visit a structure which was built in the year 682, 60 years after Muhammad has died? Who are you trying to fool? You have no land and no case.”
“The land belongs to Israel,” he insisted, calling the Palestinian history of terrorism and indoctrination of children against the Jews “despicable.”
“You Palestinians are evil in any country you step foot on,” the Saudi commentator blasted. “Pure evil!”
While I do not agree with the entirety of al-Saeen’s three-and-a-half-minute video message, he is correct about who the land of Israel rightfully belongs to and the grief and chaos that follows Palestinians.
God, in His Word, described the heart of the Edomitesโand it is astonishingly clear that the same spirit lives on today in the Palestinians.
Ezekiel 35 states, “And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. 5 Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end… Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth… I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there” (verses 3-5, 7, 9-10).
The ancient Edomites had a perpetual hatred for God’s chosen people, the Jewish people, and God judged them accordingly.
Some, including the late Dr. Jimmy DeYoung, made a direct connection in the genealogy from the ancient Edomites all the way to the present-day Palestinians. Now, while I cannot verify those claims, I can say with certainty that the same perpetual hatred within the Edomites lives on in the modern-day Palestinians.
The Book of Obadiah, speaking of prophecy yet future, states, “For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, So shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.”
The “holy mountain” in the above verse speaks of the Temple Mount. Indeed, today, the Palestinians are intoxicated with power on the Temple Mount, even though Israel has sovereignty over the area. That is the Palestinian stated reason as to why October 7th happened; they called it the “al-Aqsa flood.” That is why they carried out the massacre of 1,200 Israelis. It was a demonic attack against God’s chosen people.
The chapter continues, “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it.”
Another battle is coming where God will gather all the nations and enter into a battle with them in Jerusalem, in the valley of Jehoshaphat, and judge the world for scattering His chosen people and dividing up His land (Joel 3:1-2).
Malachi 1:4 reads, “Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.”
There you have it, and that’s what God thinks of anyone who comes against His land and against His chosen people with the intent to displace and destroy what He loves. Woe unto you!
Bottom line: Wake up, world! Quit pressuring Israel to make peace with the people who wish them dead. Has October 7th not been enough for you to realize that the Palestinians are not interested in peace with Israel? All I can say is that President Trump’s offer to them is really far beyond what any of them deserve.
