Russia Shoots Down Satellite In Claimed ‘Test’; A Response To Evidence Showing Approaching Invasion Of Ukraine?

Russia has shot down a satellite in orbit over the weekend, the U.S. Space Command revealed Monday.

The agency, in a statement provided to Fox News, said it is “aware of a debris-generating event in outer space.

“We are actively working to characterize the debris field and will continue to ensure all space-faring nations have the information necessary to maneuver satellites if impacted,” the statement continued. “We are also in the process of working with the interagency, including the State Department and NASA, concerning these reports and will provide an update in the near future.”

Seradata, which operates a launch and satellite database, reported that the downed satellite belonged to Russia and was targeted in an anti-satellite test.

“The Cosmos 1408 satellite is a retired Tselina-D class electronic intelligence/signals intelligence satellite launched in September 1982 and which has been dead for decades,” it mentioned in a tweet

Following the test, the Russian Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities said the “orbit of the object, which forced the [International Space Station] crew today to move into spacecraft according to standard procedures, has moved away from the ISS orbit.”

Russia’s anti-satellite “test” comes in close proximity to satellite imagery showing that Russia is amassing an estimated 90,000 troops close to its border with Ukraine.

This new information provided by satellite imagery, sparked international concern, including calls from Republicans in the House of Representatives for Joe Biden to send troops to the region.

The timing of Russia shooting down the satellite can easily be construed as a threatening response to the satellite imagery which was evidence of possible preparations of an invasion of Ukraine, which NATO called “aggressive.”

There has also been an outcry against Russia as many in Europe, including Poland’s Prime Minister, have blamed Putin for what is being called a manufactured crisis, as middle eastern migrants have been forced on the polish border through Belarus.

Michael Ryan, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy, stated that “these are manufactured events through strategic manipulation over a long period of time to create the conditions in which opportunities to make it even more unstable arise. And some of the tools have proven to be very effective because they do create such an emotional response in Europe — migration being one of them.”

The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s administration on Sunday called the Russian president a “puppetmaster” who carefully crafted a crisis that would distract from Russia’s actions.

In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus, “What shall be the sign of thy coming?”  Jesus’s response is a detailed description of the condition of the world and what it will look like in the last days before His return. Wars and rumours of wars, nation rising against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, these being the beginning of sorrows.

In Luke 21:25, Jesus says, “There will be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth Distress of Nations with Perplexity, the seas and the wave roaring. These things will be greatly increased and primarily take place during the seven-year Tribulation (from which the church is absent). However, with the current global state of turmoil amongst the nations, we can’t help but recognize the distress of nations Jesus describes in Luke 21 and Matthew 24, rising in our world today.

The Elevation And Worship Of ‘Pride’ In A Society That Has Abandoned Biblical Truth

The Apostle Paul explains in Romans 1 that when people reject the Creator, they do not stop worshiping altogether. Instead, they begin to worship created things rather than the One who created them. History repeatedly demonstrates that when societies abandon biblical truth, they inevitably replace it with alternative belief systems, symbols, and sources of authority. One recent example involved a gathering where participants prayed over a pride flag, asking that it become a symbol of hope, a blanket of protection, and a cape of power. The issue is not merely about a flag. The deeper issue is what the flag represents and the authority it is increasingly given within our culture.

How Allegory Reduces The Bible To Nothing More Than A Work Of Fiction

It is God alone who predicts the future. Prophecy is one of God’s signatures that tells us that we can trust in Him and His Word. It is what separates the Bible from all other religious writings in the world. But if we consistently use allegorical hermeneutics, as Charles Ryrie points out, then in effect what we have just done is reduce the Bible to nothing more than a work of fiction. How tragic! With hermeneutics like that, it is no wonder so many people want nothing to do with Bible prophecy. It is no wonder pastors refuse to preach and teach events concerning the future, and it is no wonder it can be so hard to understand.

Jan Markell: You Can’t Have A Genuine Revival With False Doctrine Raging

I hear a dozen evangelists stating that we are on the verge of a great revival. One self-proclaimed prophet says that a billion souls will come to faith in the coming weeks and months. If my Rapture is imminent, how can there be an imminent revival? Which is it? The Bible does talk about a coming revival. The question concerns its timing. Is it in the coming days, or is it after the Rapture when the “left behind” world realizes they should have listened to believers like you and me, get a second chance, and multitudes come to faith?
